Gahn' left Gabby to herself as promised, so she began making preparations for never coming home, whether that be due to her running away or being kidnapped, she knew she was never going to be able to come back home again.

She started by calling up Natalie and asking if she could look after her cat Tibault for the week, knowing Natalie loved cats, she hoped that even though she wouldn't be returning for Tibault Natalie would find him a good home. And she went over to Natalie's house telling her some rubbish about going out of town for work and she gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek and with a final goodbye she asked Natalie to look after her Tibault and let everyone know that's she's ok just out of town.

She then went to her first job at the restaurant, seeing Fiona she ran up to her and gave her a hug, Fiona just stood there shocked, Gabby thanked Fiona for all her help and wished she could give more notice but had to go out of town due to an emergency but would most likely not be coming back. Fiona coming out of her shock fiercely returned the hug saying " you do what you gotta do, just know I'm always here for you if you need anything, and I'm gonna miss you."

After a short tearful goodbye Gabby left, shocked that she was so upset at leaving Fiona but knowing it was necessary. She then went to her second place of work, walking in telling them she quit, wished Carrie all the best and after a firm handshake of respect left feeling that she had rapped up all her goodbyes to any human that mattered to her rather quickly, which is just sad.

Gabby knew that her pathetic lack of social connections was due to the death of her mother and father at the age of 16 in a car crash. She was taken in to social care and practically took care of herself until she was 18, meaning old enough to get her own place and a job. The death of her parents hurt so bad that she just didn't want to interact as much with people anymore. She had minimal contact from Hannah and the girls when school finished and in all honesty Gabby preferred it that way. Less caring means less ability to get hurt.

Now that she had given all her goodbyes, she went home and ordered some Chinese takeaway because dammit she deserved a treat that she's not going to be able to enjoy for either a long time due to lack of funds or ever again because she'll be on a different planet.

So after pigging out on food, and some chocolate cake left over from a week ago, don't judge, she began packing all her belongings, all the necessities really ... books. Clothes and toiletries and food as well, but mainly books. Once everything was packed away into two measly suitcases she began hatching a plan.

She knew Ghan wasn't going to give up easily, and he had mainly tricks up his sleeve to track her unnoticed so she decided she would run away in the dead of night all the while running through crowds of people, she'll start by taking a late train walking through a busy supermarket taking a bus or coach whichever takes her further and is full of people, then she would buy a mouth guard, large woolly jumpers and wear lots and lots of perfume to help disguise her from the Yautja vision.

Now this would only work if Gabby could first get away from Ghan, which would most likely be the hardest part. Gabby was so tired she wouldn't even need to take her sleep pills tonight she was almost dead on her feet, ohhh that though gave Gabby an idea. Hopefully this plan works...there's only one way to find out.
