Aboard the Nemesis, Jazz, Bulkhead, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, and Drift deals with the Decepticons Misaki sets off to search for Haruhi; despite the Decepticons efforts, they couldn't grab her.
Misaki: Get out of my way, you freakin' bastards!
Meanwhile, in the interogation room, Luggnaut enters the room and he is angered with what he is seeing.
Luggnaut: Starscream!
Starscream turns and sees Luggnaut.
Starscream: Oh it's only you, Luggnaut. What do you want? I'm in the middle of something here!
Luggnaut: The Master told you to await his command! Why is that thing in here?!
Haruhi: (thinking) Thing?
Starscream: I am only trying to get some answers from this human, you can go run along and worship is statues or something.
Luggnaut: How dare you disobey an order! Lord Megatron's orders are final and non-negotiable! Anyone who dares to disobey his whims are traitors!
Starscream: I will not have you talk to me like that, Luggnaut! You forget that I'm in charge while he is away!
Luggnaut: And that gives you the right to disregard his commands?
Starscream: I will gladly explain myself to Lord Megatron, but rest assured that my intentions are pure.
Suddenly the alarms go off.
Starscream: Now what?!
A Vehicon comes in with urgent news.
Vehicon: Commander Starscream! We are under attack! The Autobots has invaded!
Starscream: Then what are you doing in here?!
Haruhi: You'll have to explain to "Lord Megatron" about the Autobots attack too.
Starscream growls in anger and aims his arm blasters to Haruhi.
Starscream: You are no longer any use to me, since they are now here.
Back with Optimus and Ratchet; the two Autobots prepare for battle against their undead opponents.
Ratchet: Megatron has disecrated the resting place of our fallen comrades and his own!
Optimus Prime: Not even the dead are freed from his warmongering.
Optimus open fires onto the Terrorcons, but his blasts has little effect onto them. Meanwhile, aboard the Nemesis Misaki makes her way towards the intergation room, where she sees Starscream pointing his arm blaster at her.
Misaki: Haruhi!
Haruhi: Misaki!
Starscream: Well, well, well. The other human female. Come to rescue your little friend have you? You take one more step and I'll turn her into a steamy pile of ash.
Misaki: Destroying your home planet and invading ours is one thing; but I will never forgive is that you have taken my friend hostage! I depise you Decepticons for it!
Starscream: (laugh) How amusing. Slipstream, bring her here.
Slipstream: Of course, Commander Starscream.
Slipstream walks towards Misaki and when she was about to pick her up she hears a charging sound; she looks up and sees Jazz in front of her.
Jazz: You have a friend of ours and we'll be having her back.
Starscream: I'll kill this human without hesitating, Jazz! So not one more step!
Drift: Well, it's a good thing that I'm here then.
Starscream looks up and sees Drift above Haruhi; he draws out his sword and cuts the chain. As Haruhi falls Drift transforms into his cycle mode and Haruhi lands on him; Drift then drives off. Jazz meets up with Cliffjumper, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee as they transform into their vehicle modes and drives off.
Starscream: Stop them you fools!
Thundercracker, Skywarp, Slipstream, and Luggnaut chases after them. Back with Optimus and Ratchet, Optimus is continuing to fire back.
Optimus Prime: Ratchet! Retreat! Have Wheeljack bridge you back!
Ratchet transforms his hands to blades.
Ratchet: No! I will stand with you, Optimus. You may require a medic when this is over with.
Optimus and Ratchet engages the Terrorcons; Ratchet cuts one of them and he notices that the Terrorcons loses connection with the Dark Energon when their limbs are severed.
Ratchet: I recommend dissection! The smaller the pieces, the better.
Optimus Prime: Sound advise, old friend.
Optimus switches his blasters with his blades and they cut their undead opponents like paper; Optimus and Ratchet cuts down a few more Terrorcons, and Optimus looks up to Megatron.
Megatron: I have mastered Dark Energon; when you fall Optimus, you too shall join my army!
Optimus glares at Megatron, then he and Ratchet slices more Terrorcons. Back at the Nemesis, Jazz and his squad continues to elude their pursuers, along with Haruhi and Misaki.
Jazz: Seriously, Misaki, what were you thinking?!
Misaki: I couldn't just sit on my hands and not do anything.
Haruhi: Don't be hard on her. I'm at fault in this.
Bulkhead: We'll have to bridge ourselves out of here.
Jazz: You're right, Bulk. Wheeljack come in. Wheeljack we need a ground bridge now! Wheeljack! Slag! Not a peep out of Wheeljack!
Back at Autobot base, Wheeljack is attempting to make contact with Jazz and the others.
Wheeljack: Jazz, come in! Were you successful in your misson? Jazz? Drift! Cliffjumper! Bumblebee! Bulkhead! Anyone!
Prowl, Arcee, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Ironhide, and Smokescreen returns and they don't see Optimus, Jazz, Ratchet or anybody else but Wheeljack.
Ironhide: Wheeljack! Where's everybody?
Smokescreen: What's going on here?
Wheeljack: Optimus and Ratchet are out on an errand, and so is Jazz, Cliffjumper, Bulkhead, Drift, and Bumblebee.
Prowl: If it was so important, then why didn't Optimus or Jazz ask us to return to base and help out?
Arcee: Or at least have Ratchet bridge us here?
Wheeljack: I'll explain later!
Back on the battlefield, Optimus and Ratchet could feel their power sapping.
Ratchet: (weakly) Optimus, we have been exposed to Dark Energon for far too long. It's is sapping out strength.
Optimus Prime: We cannot falter now.
Optmis and Ratchet continues to engage the Terrorcon army, but many began to swarm all over Optimus.
Ratchet: OPTIMUS!
The Terrorcons swarm all over Ratchet as well. Back aboard the Nemesis, Jazz, Cliffjumper, Drift, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and the two girls made it to a computer room.
Jazz: Bee! Stay with them and try to get a hold of Wheeljack! The rest of you guys are with me!
Bumblebee nods. Jazz and the others continues their battle with the Decepticons. Bumblebee tries to tap into the Decepticons computer systems in order to contact Wheeljack. Back with Optimus and Ratchet, Optimus fires his way out of the undead dogpile, and he sees Ratchet buried and he gets them off of him.
Megatron: My legion! Finish them!
Optimus and Ratchet keeps on fighting despite growing weaker fromthe effects of Dark Energon. Back at Autobot base, they recieve a communication from Bumblebee.
Bumblebee: (VO) Bumblebee to base. Bumblebee to base. Can you hear me?
Wheeljack: Loud and clear, Bumblebee! What's your status?
Bumblebee: We were successful into rescuing Haruhi, and the cons are fighting us back. We need a ground bridge now! I'm sending you the coordinates now!
Wheeljack: We're locked onto you! But you bots better hurry! Wheeljack out.
Sideswipe and Sunstreaker: Is this one of the things you were going to explain to us?
Wheeljack looks at everyone sheepishly. Bumblebee makes contact with Jazz.
Bumblebee: Jazz, Wheeljack is locked onto us! We'll have to take our chance to take the ground bridge now!
Jazz: (VO) Roger that!
Bumblebee transforms into his vehicle mode; Haruhi and Misaki gets inside as Bumblebee drives off. Jazz, Drift, Bulkhead, and Cliffjumper meets up with Bumblebee in vehicle mode as they take the ground bridge out of the Nemesis, but it closes before Starscream could pursue them.
Starscream: Okay, Autobots; you just go ahead and run with your human pets, the more better for me.
Luggnaut: You will explain this to the master when he returns!
Back with Optimus and Ratchet, they eliminated the remaining Terrorcons; Optimus looks up to Megatron.
Megatron: Bravo, Optimus! Though, but is only a prelude. You may need to save your strength for the main event!
Optimus climbs his way up to Megatron.
Optimus Prime: You will not prevail, Megatron! Not as long as Energon flows through my veins!
Megatron: Fitting. Though it is DARK Energon that flows through mine.
As Optimus attempts to strike Megatron, he transforms into his jet mode and flies back to his ship. Optimus shoots at Megatron until he is out of sight. Ratchet climbs up to Optimus.
Ratchet: If this isn't Megatron's endgame, then what is?
Optimus stood there and thought for a moment, for he fears that Megatron's true purpose may spell devastation and tragedy for Earth. Later, back at Autobot base, as Optimus and Ratchet are recovering from their battle with the Terrorcon army, Takumi, Misaki, Shintani, and the Host Club looked upon the two. Optimus looks at Drift.
Optimus Prime: Drift, you have displayed poor judgement into allowing Misaki to accompany you.
Drift: It will never happen again, Optimus-sensei.
Misaki: Drift isn't at fault, Optimus. I've acted on my own. Jazz tried to talk me out of it.
Haruhi: She's right. It's my fault it happened; but it could have happened to any of us.
Tamaki: Don't think that way, Haruhi! The Autobots risked their lives to save you!
Haruhi: And they'd do the same if it happened to you!
Tamaki knew that Haurhi is right, and fell on his hands and kness.
Hikaru: But never mind about that.
Kaoru: What happened to you two out there?
Honey: You looked tired when you got back.
Mori: Yeah.
Ratchet: We have engaged an undead army.
Misaki: Undead army?!
Shintani: As in... Z... Z... Zombies?
Kyuoya: How is that possible?
Optimus Prime: From only one source that I fear that we have discovered; as well as Megatron... Dark Energon.
Hikaru & Kaoru: Dark Energon?
Sunstreaker: So that's what is was. The stuff that made me dizzy from before.
Sideswipe: And what brought Brawn back from the dead.
Takumi: What's so special about Dark Energon?
Ratchet: It has been said that Dark Energon has the power to resurrect the dead; turning them into "Terrorcons".
Optimus Prime: And I fear that Megatron is planning to use a piece of Dark Energon to ressurect a planet full of Cybertronian dead.
The nine humans looked at Optimus with terror in their eyes. Meanwhile, aboard the Nemesis. Megatron beats Starscream for disobeying his orders.
Starscream: Please, my lord!
Smack!
Megatron: I have ordered you to await my commands! Now thanks to your blunder, my plans has been faltered!
Starscream: Master please! My intentions were true, but I can set your plans back on course!
Megatron walks to Starscream and takes him by the neck with his right hand.
Megatron: Explain, Starscream, quickly.
And there you have it, Megatron's goal is even more clear. How will Megatron set his plan into effect? Will Optimus Prime and the other Autobots succeed into saving the Earth or will they fall with the human race? To be continued towards the next chapter.
