The Pharaoh's Summoner 10

Akita looked around as she walked down the street in front of the boys. Nephthys was walking beside her one minute and the next she'd be gone. Then suddenly when she reappeared Akita was frozen on the spot. Something was wrong but she couldn't see anything right away, but that didn't mean that Akita couldn't feel something. Then she noticed the fact that Akita looked tense. Her hands were clenched in fists at her sides. Nephthys knew it wasn't her that had caused the reaction in the summoner. She'd only seen this when a battle was going on close by. A battle of high level summoners.

"What is it?"

"A summoner with the Meteor Black Dragon."

Nephthys knew that Akita was looking for a Meteor Black Dragon that had belonged to her brother. He'd been killed during a battle and his murderer had taken the dragon. The vow had been struck to find the dragon and reclaim him and beat the tar of the person that took him. She stalked forward slowly not paying attention if the boys were following or not. "They're here then. Go ahead Nephthys leave the Dragon Master to me."

She nodded her head and vanished into the crowd. Nephthys was still looking for Marik for her and she was getting closer and closer to finding him. Akita tilted her head to the side she looked at the duo. At first she didn't want to entangle the pair in her world but in the end it was unavoidable because she had Ra and many would come for him.

"Come with me or don't. I'm at the point where I don't care anymore as much as it pains me. Mill around until you find the idiot Marik gave the Sky Dragon to or follow me and a Dragon Master will lead us straight to it."

Yugi looked at his dark and then the retreating back of the heartbroken woman. He could see how much the Pharaoh's mistrust was grading on her heart and nerves. There was a bond between their souls he couldn't remember and she was trying to suppress for his sake. There was a fragile heart underneath the hard exterior. Something told him he should, no had to push the Pharaoh in Akita's direction as if they belonged together.

"Pharaoh please she wants to help us. It's killing her that you can't trust her even a smidge."

The Pharaoh looked at his Light at his words. Sometimes he wondered how he could be so trusting towards others. Though something inside of him was screaming to trust the woman, but he was so wary of those around him that claimed to have a past with him. She was distant at best but there was something about her that called to his senses. He couldn't explain it even to himself but it was a feeling, that he realized he'd felt once before then but he couldn't place where.

"How can you trust her so easily?"

He looked at Akita's retreating back. The boy had a wistful look in his eyes. He fought down the spark of jealousy as he remembered the accidental kiss between the two but he shook it off. He shouldn't be jealous of his Light even though he knew about their past together.

"Because I can feel it in my heart that she is only here for you, to protect and help you."

Yugi grinned at his dark. "And besides the Dark Magician trusts her and he doesn't trust many."

"I don't know…"

"Yami she came to help us and I think we should give her the benefit of the doubt. She hasn't given us reason to distrust her."

The Dark considered his Light's words for a few moments before nodding his head and the two of them followed the Summoner. When they finally found her she was watching a battle between two summoners. A dragon he'd never seen before then battled against a Swamp Battle Guard which ended the duel in two seconds. The Summoner that won went to the looser and collected a card before walking back to her companion. Both girls were hooded but the flicker of their souls seemed familiar. The one girl patted the Meteor Black Dragon on the nose before he vanished.

Akita stopped seeing the Dragon Master turn. Her eyes widened in shock. She knew that face and she knew the soul. Even though her hair was covered she was sure that the girl had tri colored locks like her father. Even her eyes were the same shade as her Father's. The other girl wasn't paying attention as she talked to her companion. Akita's mind started racing. Angel was a Dragon Master. When she started reasoning it out it made sense to her but everything was rushing so fast. Before she could stop herself she called to the girl;

"Angel?"

The girl whipped around at her name and her hood dropped around her shoulder and true to her beliefs Angel had tri colored hair and the deep burgundy of her Father's eyes. The girl's eyes started watering. Akita smiled her own watery smile as she watched the reincarnation of her daughter.

"Momma?" she whimpered.

The girl next to Angel tensed and turned to face Akita.

"Momma?" the other cloaked figure said.

The second girl pushed the hook away to reveal shocking white hair and deep blue eyes. She couldn't believe it, the girl was the reincarnation of Kisara. The two girls rushed towards her and enveloped the older girl in a hug. Her head rested against the familiar tri colored hair of her daughter. Then she turned her attention to the white haired girl in her other arm. The Light and Dark stared completely dumbfounded at the trio. Akita whispered soft nothings to the duo trying to soothe them. Tears were in the girl's eyes running down their cheeks at they held onto Akita. A part of Akita's soul fell into place as she held the girls close to her. One day it'd be complete when her Pharaoh was himself again. If he didn't she'd still have the girls to fill the void inside of herself.

"Hey Yami that girl looks a lot like you," Yugi said aloud.

Everyone froze at the Light's comment. Akita closed her eyes as she rested her cheek against Angel's forehead. The pharaoh looked completely floored at what Yugi had said. The resemblance between Akita and this girl Angel were unmistakable except for her tri colored hair and her burgundy eyes.

"Momma?" Yami finally said.

"Yes, Momma, though not in this life for one of them at least."

She looked up at the Pharaoh as he tried to reason through what was happening in front of him. Once the information clicked into place he gaped in awe at her. Akita smirked inwardly at his reaction. Then she turned her attention back to her daughter. "You're a Dragon Master and have drawn Kisara to your side as well."

"I am Momma, and in this life Kisa and I are twins."

Akita nodded her head and smiled softly at the pair. She could feel the Blue Eyes underneath the surface even though she knew damned well that this wasn't like in the past where she was the complete embodiment of the Blue Eyes White Dragon, now the power was there but the actual spirit wasn't. Though catching up could be done later, she had a task before her and her daughter could help her.

"Angel I need your help and Kisara can probably help."

"Kisa, Momma," Kisara corrected with a laugh.

"Kisa it is then, but yes I need your help."

Angel looked at Kisa then cocked her head to the side waiting for what it was that Akita was looking for. Both girls listened intently at what Akita had to say.

"With what?" Angel asked.

"Because of the toll that Ra takes on me I can't exactly pinpoint the Sky Dragon."

The girl sunk deep in thought then she looked at her twin. Kisa much like her twin could sense dragon spirits. They could read each other like a book and they seemed to be having a conversation mentally.

"What do you think Kisa?"

"We can probably find him together. Those three are dangerous in their own right."

Akita looked at Kisa sadly. She knew that Kisa was always destined to look for Seto and the next part might upset the white haired girl, but the information had to be known up front. Once they had the Skye Dragon and then they knew where to find Seto.

"Seto has the Tormentor."

"It doesn't surprise me that he does only because he wants to beat Yugi even though he doesn't realize he's trying to challenge the Pharaoh."

The two males stared at the girls as if they'd grown another head. Akita rolled her eyes in annoyance. They still seemed at a loss at what was going on in front of them.

"Remember how I yelled at Seto for tearing the Blue Eyes card?"

"Yes?" Yami said hesitantly.

"Well back in the past Seto took in a girl with white hair and blue eyes that carried around a dragon spirit it inside of her. Well they fell in love though they never got to express it because Seto's father was determined to overthrow the Pharaoh. Seto wouldn't have it and his father tried to kill him, but Kisara got in the way. So this is Kisara reincarnated. She's Seto's Blue Eyes. The real one he's been searching for his entire life without realizing it."

She smiled at the white haired girl. Kisa returned a tentative smile. A blush dusted her cheeks at the mention of Seto. Then Akita's attention turned to the other girl. Yami was starting to piece things together and realization dawned on him.

"Is this our…" Yami started.

"Does he know Momma?"

"No he doesn't. I told him our story, but that can wait till later we need to find the Sky Dragon."

Angel looked at Yami then towards her sister. A deep breath escaped her as if she were about ready to take on the world singlehandedly.

"Do you remember what he feels like Kisa?" Angel asked her sister.

Kisa shook her head with a frown. The two girls never actually got to interact with the dragons so they wouldn't know what they felt like. They were powerhouses, but they wouldn't recognize them right off the bat as a God Card. Absently, Angel started shuffling her deck as she tried to search out a dragon aura from the millions of other monsters in the battles. Akita sighed softly and reached for her deck and much to Yami's shock she held up Ra. Yami started protesting at her having the card till his Light shushed him. Akita glared at the Pharaoh to shut his protests.

"Ra and Slifer have a similar feeling about them, though Ra has a bit shall we say darker feel to him than Slifer."

"How's that Momma? He's a dragon of Light."

"It's his arrogance that colors the feel of him."

They nodded their heads and touched the card. Both twins as if they'd been doing this their entire life closed their eyes and focused. Their senses reached out to find the dragon they were searching for.

"He's close," Angel finally said as she let go of the card.

The girls took a step back and Angel started swaying a bit. Before Kisa could reach for her twin Rex came up behind her and steadied her. Angel smiled tiredly up at Rex. Akita just snickered softly at the duo. They belonged together and it was beautiful to see it in this life. They were living the life they couldn't have in the past.

"Hey Rex," Angel murmured softly.

"You alright?"

"Yes, just tired."

He nodded his head then froze seeing Yami and Yugi. He looked at the duo nervously. Rex wasn't exactly on their friendly list.

"Rex," Yami hissed.

Akita just smirked softly. Angel sighed in annoyance and Kisa was snickering. Akita would allow words to be exchanged but no violence and if words got to bad she'd step in.

"I'm sure the both of you know Rex," Akita started.

"What are you doing here Rex?" Yami snapped.

Angel's eyes narrowed as she marched towards Yami. She got into his face. Whoever this man was he wasn't her father anymore and she wouldn't allow him to disrespect her partner. She looked like she was about ready to slap him across the face. Akita knew she had to stop her daughter before she beat the crap outta her father. The last thing they needed was for a fight to break out between the two.

"For your information he's my…"

Akita moved forward and placed a hand on her daughter's shoulder to stop what was to come before Angel did something she'd regret.

"Pharaoh," Akita started addressing him formally to get his attention. "Rex is Angel's boyfriend."

The Pharaoh stood there completely dumbfounded. "Much like yourself and others Rex too is a reincarnation. Though I'm kinda wondering where you're companions are."

"Skye and Weevil are battling on the other side of the city."

She nodded her head.

"As I was saying Rex is the reincarnation of General Rex. I told you about him."

Yami's eyes narrowed and he shot forward and punched Rex across the face. Rex looked up at the Pharaoh as he landed on his ass. His cheek smarted. He wasn't sure if this was for the things he'd done before now or because he was dating his daughter. If he had a guess it was for both.

"He doesn't remember," Angel snapped.

Akita growled softly this was no time for a pissing contest. Rex glared at the pharaoh as he stood up next to his girlfriend. She felt like she was dealing with children the way they were acting. They were but still there was no time for this stupidity with Marik lying in wait to take the God Cards and take over the world.

"We don't have time for this Yami we need to find the Sky Dragon."

She shoved Rex forward and Angel too. Rex walked beside his girlfriend. Kisa was laughing her ass off. Both Light and Dark were on either side of Akita. Akita gestured for Kisa to walk with her sister while she had a verbal spat with the Pharaoh.

"So she's your daughter…"

"Reincarnation of our daughter. It's only because of my foresight I know what happened to her and that she and Rex were meant to be."

"Foresight?" Yugi asked.

"When I had it I could see snippets of people's futures. That's how I knew where to head when Calandra freed me."

"Calandra?"

"You know her as Skye and of course Leone is Weevil."

Akita watched Angel walk beside Rex. This is the one thing she'd wished for her daughter. For her to grow up beautifully to resemble a mix of her parents and take the world by storm with Rex at her side. Even if she never got her happy ending with the Pharaoh she would be happy in the knowledge her daughter got hers in the end. Her eyes drifted to Kisa and smiled softly. She'd also make sure she got her happy ending too. Seto wouldn't know what hit him.

"You're very protective of Rex Akita," Yugi pointed out.

"He was my brother and make shift protector in the past Yugi and he protected my daughter when I was unable to."

"Don't you mean our daughter?"

Akita closed her eyes. She could feel a fight coming on. "Yes our daughter."

"One you hid from me."

Anger coursed through her then. She stopped in front of him her hands clenched into fists at her sides.

"Yes, I made the decision to hide her from you only because of those who'd pose a threat to her."

"She was my daughter…"

"A daughter of a slave and the Pharaoh. Seto's dad would've killed me and her the moment he learned of them so I left and had her away from the palace. I even made sure Seto never went after her."

"Oh right because you had foresight."

Her anger got the best of her and her fist connected with his cheek. Her knuckles smarted after the hit but she stared angrily at him. Angel and Kisa were beside her in seconds. Rex was standing behind her.

"I did what I had to Pharaoh to keep my daughter alive."

"You don't think I couldn't have protected her?"

"No you couldn't have."

"Why…"

"Because you're weak," she snarled without thinking.

That stopped the entire group in her tracks. Akita knew she'd said the wrong thing right at that moment but she couldn't help it. She resented him as much as she loved him.

"Weak am I?"

"Yes, only because you allowed those fools you called Elders and your council dictate how you ruled."

She could feel Ra rattling in his cage inside of her mind. Her loyalty cards were trying to fight what the dragon was doing. "Because Seto's damned father talked your father into creating the millennium items."

Her head was starting to spin. "You were foolish in believing in items that were gained through a blood bath that drew Bakura to you in vengeance."

"Momma?" Angel said as she moved towards her.

"Don't…"

Her knees finally gave out as she sank to the ground. In a flash Celtic Guardian and Dark Magician were at her side trying to steady her.

"So weak, you let them walk me to the executioners block without a good reason for them to kill me."

"You really think I'd allow them to kill you!" he shot back.

Everyone froze especially him as he thought about what he'd said.

"It doesn't matter now it's in the past."

The Dark Magician helped her to her feet. She leaned against the monster. "We have a dragon to find."

She didn't wait for anyone else to speak before she started walking away with Dark Magician holding her up.
