Hey guys!
I decided to write and post this because you are all awesome (and it is my b'day )
Thank you for your support and I will try to update soon!
For you information, Roy is part of the team…
I don't own Arrow, of course.
Everything is black
And white
No grey
Immediately after I left Felicity's apartment, I headed to the Foundry. The moment I walked down the stairs, I heard the sound of fists hitting fabric. I walked over to the training area. There I found an angry looking Roy who was beating the crap out of a dummy. I put my jacket away and walked toward the young man. He didn't look up when I stood behind him but his shoulders tensed. I raised my hand to put it on his shoulder but before I knew what happened, he had me in a choke hold. He slammed me against the wall and brought his face close to mine, his jaw tense with anger.
'Roy' I managed to sputter.
'You think I am crazy!' he growled. 'You think 'my marble collection' is on the short side.' He added that last part in an ironic angry tone.
I twisted so I could escape his hold and kicked him in the stomach. That took him by surprise and he staggered away and I could get out of his reach. He advanced on me, ready to hit me but I ducked away.
'Roy, tell me what made you angry!' I shouted.
He grabbed his cell phone and pressed play.
'Didn't this all start because you thought his marble collection was on the short side?' I heard Felicity ask. Then, Diggle's reply came: 'She has a point, Oliver, he is a loose cannon now he knows your secret'.I stepped forward to see the video. It was footage from one of the surveillance cameras in the Foundry showing him, Felicity and Diggle on the evening Roy learned my secret. I heard myself confirm what they both said and I looked up, right into Roy's angry face.
'Roy, I am sorry, I just didn't think that decision through' I admitted.
'Listen to me, this is meant to….' I began to explain but he didn't listen.
He looked angry, a muscle tensing in his jaw, and I saw him flex his fists by his side, ready to hit something. He seemed to realize this unconscious movement and walked away, slamming the door behind him when he left the Foundry.
I wanted to run after him, to make sure he wouldn't do anything foolish but my phone suddenly rang. The display showed that Diggle was the one calling me.
I answered the phone. 'Yeah?'
'Oliver, I can't reach Felicity, she doesn't answer her phone…'
'I just came from her apartment and she was okay.' I responded. Then, I added, 'but I'll go check on her, I'll let you know.'
'Okay, please call me when you know more.'
I walked out of the Foundry. I wasn't so worried about her, because it was only an hour ago that I had been at her apartment. I grabbed my bike and for the second time that day rode to the Van Gogh Street. As I walked up the stairs, I felt myself getting a bit ill at ease, perhaps sensing that something was wrong. Her apartment door was still closed, so that was a good sign. I opened the door with the key she had given me and walked into the dark corridor. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary there.
I opened the door to her living room and looked around. I stepped forward and softly called her name, to let her know I was there. I took another step so that I was in the middle of her living room. I felt something hard shatter under my feet and I looked down. In the middle of the room lay a grey picture frame with the glass shattered. When I wiped the glass shards away from the picture, I saw a young couple on their wedding day. The woman had brown hair and felicity's eyes. She looked up in adoration to the man on her right, her eyes full of love. When I looked at the blond man in the picture, I felt all the blood leave my face and I dropped the picture frame. When it hit the ground, I thought I heard a much louder noise, like a gunshot and a scream. I pushed the noises to the back of my mind and I walked toward the exit as fast as I could.
Before I was out of her apartment, I called Diggle.
'She is in trouble.' I growled.
'Oliver, what did you find?'Diggle asked me, the worry clear in his voice.
I ignored his question and said: ' Diggle, run Felicity's search program for me.'
'Okay, and what do I have to search for?' was his response.
'Anthony Ivo Smoak.'
Thanks for reading, please let me know what you think!
