Chapter 10
"You know it's like the middle of December, right? Why would you want to go swimming?" Sebastian asked walking beside the blonde who was strolling the streets of New York searching for an indoor swimming pool.
"It helps me relax and it helps me clear my mind. It's peaceful to me." Quinn told him. Swimming in her mother's pool in the summer was always therapeutic to her.
She felt like she needed to get her head on straight. With everything that has happen, she wanted to change and start fresh.
Become a better person.
Clean up her thoughts.
"I love the new haircut by the way." Sebastian complimented as he eyed her up and down. "Makes you look more mature."
"Thanks." Quinn said running her hand through her hair. It took a little time getting use to her hair this short. "How was your date with Blaine?"
"Well, It would have gone a lot better if you didn't interrupt us but he has accepted my offer for a second date so hopefully we can rectify that." He smirked as he tried to get in sync with her pace.
Quinn narrowed her eyes at him. "But it's more than just about sex, right Sebastian?"
"I love how you think so little of me. I enjoy Blaine's company but I'm not a saint. And we're both adults. So I can't make any predictions, though I will try to respect that he is also the friend of your..." He searched his head for the perfect word to reference Rachel to Quinn.
"...whatever she is." Sebastian told her. "How mess up is that by the way?"
He has been waiting for the right opportunity to ask her about Rachel.
"Is it more messed up then sleeping with her mother?" Quinn retorted looking both ways as they cross the busy street carefully.
"Yes." He answered without missing a beat.
"How so?" Quinn arched her eyebrow at him.
"You didn't intentionally do it to hurt her. You didn't even know she existed. But Rachel getting married so quickly is a sign that she's not over you. And she doesn't care if it hurts you and she's being selfish."
Quinn sighed to exhausted to argue with her friend. She remembers having a similar conversation with Santana.
"So what? She deserves to be selfish. And what if she is really happy? I don't want to mess with that." Quinn's heart ached at the thought of someone else was capable of making Rachel happy though she didn't let it register to her face in front of Sebastian.
"Remember what I said on the rooftop of your apartment when we were wasted?" Sebastian asked not believing that the blonde was just going to take this lying down.
"That you wanted to sleep with my non-existent male twin." Quinn smiled.
"Well, yeah...but no that's not what i'm talking about. I promise you that I will help you get your girl back. And that hasn't change."
"Sebastian, I'm asking you to just drop it." Quinn warned.
She had accepted that fact that Rachel was probably better off without her.
"I think I know what's best for you." Sebastian argued.
"I'm serious, if you want to see how angry I get when someone meddles in my love life, ask Santana where she got that scar on her leg." Quinn threatened raising her eyebrows for good measure.
"I would love to hear that story." He grinned at her as he ignore her threat as usual.
Quinn rolled her eyes as she reminisces for a moment how childish both Santana and herself were in high school.
"She was angry that Brittany wasn't sleeping with her anymore because she was too afraid in high school to admit her feelings, so she took her frustration out on me. I was sleeping with two girls at the same time and they didn't know about each other until Santana somehow gave us all mono, then I stabbed her with my pencil." Quinn gave him the short version.
"Ouch, how are you guys friends again?" Sebastian asked still grimacing at the image.
"We weirdly understand each other." Quinn shrugs her shoulder as they have finally arrived at the place she looked up online. "I think this is it."
"Just to let you know, I'm not joining with you. I prefer to sleep in or have sex then waste my time swimming." Sebastian told her as he held the door open for her.
"When I said peaceful, it implies that it didn't include you. Quinn joked.
"Rachel...Rachel?" Kyle waved his hand in front of his fiancée's face, trying to gain her attention as he caught her zoning out on him.
Rachel shakes her head to focus on her dark haired fiancé while throwing him an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry, what were you saying?" Rachel asked as she returned to poking her half eaten salad.
Manhattan had many wonderful selection for her vegan diet but Kyle insisted on a burger joint where a plain salad was the only thing available for her to eat. She realized that in a relationship there are compromises but she knew that there was most likely a better place to eat lunch that had accommodation for both their preferences. She didn't realize the daze she had fallen into while thinking about having a delicious vegan meal prepared by Quinn then the unappealing dish in front of her.
"I said, we haven't talked about the wedding. I know we are leaning more towards July so that gives us eight months to plan and we really haven't talked about anything else except the date." Kyle told her before taking a bite of his overpriced burger.
Rachel tried not to grimaced at the image.
"With rehearsals and everything that has been going on, I guess I'm just busy to actually sit and think about some details. But when I become accustom to my new schedule, I make sure I slide in some wedding planning time."
Kyle nodded his head and waited until he finished the burger in his mouth before responding.
"Sounds solid. With my busier schedule, it really up to you to do whatever you want."
Rachel pursed her lips.
Somehow Kyle like to subtle let her know that he was the more successful one in their relationship. He was four years older than her and had more experience. It didn't really bother her because she knew her time will come. But she felt that the constant reminders were unnecessary sometimes.
"Then I assure you, you don't have anything to worry about when it comes to our wedding."
"Good. I'm sure it will be magnificent." Kyle told her as he grabbed his phone. "Are you coming tonight to see my play?"
Rachel shakes her head. "I promise a friend that I'd would have dinner with her and couple of other people tonight."
"Which friend is this?" Kyle asked absentmindedly, his eyes still glued to his phone.
"Brittany. I introduced her to Mike Chang. And she wants to celebrate getting the job and moving to New York."
"She must be a good friend for you to set that up." Kyle commented.
"Yeah." Rachel answered before taking a bite of her salad not wanting to go into detail of how she knows the blonde dancer.
Rachel was running uncharacteristically late for dinner with Brittany, her friends and Blaine. It has been a couple of days since she has last seen Quinn. She was nervous and anxious and at the same time she didn't know if she was ready to see the blonde yet.
She was worried that it might be too soon.
Part of the reason that she was running late was because she couldn't decide what to wear. She could admit that it was slightly ridiculous how much she was worrying about this night but she couldn't help wanting to look presentable in front of the blonde.
Just as she stood in front of the building for a second to confirm if this was the correct restaurant that Brittany had texted her early is when she bumps into someone.
"I'm so sorry." The apology fell from her lips automatically before she look up to see who she bumped into.
"It fine."
Rachel looked up at the familiar voice that never fails to send chills down her spine. Before she could say anything, she takes a second look at the now platinum blonde woman as her mouth gape open a little in shock when she rakes her eyes over Quinn's new appearance. Her hair was shorter and though she loved Quinn's long hair, the blonde's new look made her just as gorgeous as she was before if that was even possible. She subconsciously licked her lips before she forced her eyes back to meet the blonde's hazel ones.
"You cut your hair." Rachel stated as she had the overwhelming urge to run her hand through the blonde's tresses but fought against it.
Quinn let out a small chuckle that caused Rachel's heart to skip a beat. "Everyone makes it a big deal. It's just a cut and some coloring."
"What made you do it?" Rachel didn't know why she asked but she had a feeling it had something to do with her.
"I needed a change." Quinn answered breaking eye contact.
Rachel nodded absentmindedly as she noticed the movement which gave her a hint that the blonde wasn't being totally honest with her which she couldn't really blame her.
"I like it." Rachel whispered.
When they first met, Quinn would take an opportunity like this to shamelessly flirt with the brunette but she didn't want to cross the line of their newly friendship. She wanted to respect and didn't want to make Rachel in anyway uncomfortable, knowing that she must be feeling a little uneasy already with the situation Brittany had basically force her into.
"I know you couldn't say no to Brittany, but I'm glad you decided to come. It means a lot to her and thank you again for helping her out." Quinn tells her changing the subject as she reached out and opens the door to the restaurant for the shorter woman.
She figure the best thing to do with to make their interaction short as possible so things wouldn't become awkward. And less interaction with the brunette will probably be good in the long run as she would probably do something she's regret.
"It's no problem. Brittany would probably easily got a job anywhere she wanted. So in reality, I'm helping my friend in the process. A win win." Rachel smiles at the gesture as a thank you before walking inside.
A little bit of her was dying during their little conversation. She had to fight all her normal instincts. Like how she wanted to tell Rachel how beautiful she looked. Or how she wanted to tell her she missed her smile. Quinn exhales heavily as she mentally prepares herself of how hard this night was going to be.
A potential awkward dinner table turn out to be very relaxing and enjoyable as everyone, especially Sebastian and Santana, ignored the obvious awkwardness between Rachel and Quinn but unbeknownst to Rachel the only reason those two were behaving as well as they were was because of their significant others and Quinn had threaten them if they said anything inappropriate.
So the topic of discussion always stay safely on Brittany which it should have been.
Even though dinner was wonderful and she had pleasant conversation with everyone, Rachel noticed that Quinn, who was seated across from her, had began to ignore her ever since they sat down with the others. It extremely annoyed the brunette that she wasn't the main focus of the blonde's attention like she had been accustom to lately.
While they others were conversing with each other or actually Sebastian and Santana were arguing and both Brittany and Blaine try to calm them down, she figure this was her opportunity to bring it up to the blonde. But before she could say anything a gorgeous women, who Rachel didn't recognize as their waitress, came to the table and whispered closely into the blonde's ear causing a soft smile to appear on Quinn's face.
Having enough of the display in front of her, Rachel turned her head away and tried to ignore the ache that was rapidly growing in her heart. She knew she didn't have any right to be jealous by this but she couldn't help but find it annoying that Quinn would be so quick to move on from her. Quinn could at least have the decency to not flirt with someone right in front of her.
Maybe she did make the right decision in marrying Kyle.
She turns her head back to the blonde when she noticed Quinn getting up from her seat to excuse herself from the corner of her eye.
"I'll be right back, guys." Quinn's departure went unnoticed to the rest of the table beside of course Rachel.
Another surge of jealous flows through her as her glaring eyes followed the blonde who was still talking to the beautiful stranger before they disappear together when they turned the corner. She almost wanted to get up from her seat and tell the blonde off and explain how rude her actions were but she knew it was none of her business.
She hated that she was reacting this way.
She hated that Quinn was able to create this type of reaction from her.
Despite her decision, she didn't like to the thought of Quinn being with anyone. She knows how horrible that sounds and know that was unfair of her but she didn't think enough time has past for the blonde to be interested in someone else.
She groaned at herself at how hypocritical she sounded. She shakes her head as if she was trying to shake all thoughts of the blonde and tries to rejoin the conversation with the group, well mostly Blaine.
Twenty minutes later, though it felt like hours for Rachel, Quinn returned to their table. The blonde had a wide smile on her face and Rachel shook her head in disgust as her head became full of unpleasant images of what might have happen between Quinn and the beautiful stranger.
"I can tell that something is on your mind. Did you not have a good night? I think it went pretty well, all things considered. You know, with you and Quinn. Who is gorgeous by the way." Blaine said gently nudging her shoulder on their cab ride home from the restaurant, noting the brunette seemed off. She was quieter than normal.
"It was fine." Rachel feign a smile. She was trying to get the brunt image of Quinn and that other girl out of her head.
"Come on, Rachel." Blaine egged on not buying her smile. "I know you. What's the matter?"
"Kyle asked me how the wedding plans earlier today, I guess I'm starting to realize how behind I really am." Rachel lied. "I guess I'm feeling the pressure of it all."
Blaine narrowed his eyes.
"I have to give it to you. That was a good lie but you were fine earlier when you got back from lunch with him. You were fine all the way until about the end of dinner when I noticed you started to act stand offish. So what is it?"
Rachel sighed heavily rubbing her hands to her face in frustration. All these thoughts has spiral her mind in utter confusion.
"I got jealous tonight. Even though I know that I have absolutely no right to. I just can't help the way my skin begin to crawl at the thought of Quinn with someone else."
"Who else was she with?" Blaine asked a little lost. He had no recollection of another person coming into the mix.
"I don't know. Probably someone random woman she doesn't even know." Rachel spat out.
Blaine looked at her amused.
"I didn't noticed anyone."
"She came to the table and whispered seductively in Quinn's ear and then they disappeared together for twenty minutes and then Quinn came back with a huge smile on her face." Rachel gritted through her teeth.
Blaine let out a small laugh.
"Please tell me I'm not crazy." Rachel pleaded.
"You are not crazy."
"I mean...it was pretty obvious what they did, right?" Rachel asked.
"Why should it matter? You made it clear what you wanted. And we all move on in different ways. You can't blame her. Not that I'm saying that that's what happen. We don't know. And it isn't fair to judge." Blaine tried to be reasonable.
"But it was soo...ugh...and in front of me?" Rachel stuck her tongue out in disgust.
"I known I only met Quinn twice, but I have this feeling that she wouldn't do something like that to you." Blaine said trying to stay positive.
"She's done plenty." Rachel argued.
"Yeah but not after she met you. Sebastian said that..."
"Blaine... I don't need to hear from team Quinn. I need my friend." Rachel interrupted him knowing the next thing he was about to say was how heartbroken the blonde is...or was.
Blaine sighed as he gave her a sympathetic smile.
"Then as your friend, I think that maybe you're looking for Quinn's flaws. A reason to dislike her so you can move on from her. Maybe you think it will be easier that way." Blaine told her softly.
Rachel didn't respond as she took a moment to digest her friend's words. Maybe she was over reacted a bit and her accusation of the blonde's action may be unfair. Maybe being friends with Quinn wasn't going to work out. There were still lingering feelings between them that may be a recipe for disaster in the long run.
"You can't leave me." Sebastian sat on her bed while she was packing her bag. "Without you I don't have an excuse to bail on my parents this Christmas and their annoying talk about how sleeping with guys is just a phase for me. Worst, what if they introduced me to one of their friend's daughter. "
Quinn smiled.
"Use Blaine as your excuse." She advised him.
"Blaine is going to visit his brother in California." Sebastian replied.
"Sorry Sebastian. Santana's right. I need to do this. I need to reach out to my mom some how. Just keep apologizing and just let my presence be known." Quinn folded another piece a clothing. "And I miss her."
Sebastian nodded in understanding.
"So what's the plan?"
"I'm going to sit on her porch all night until she calls the police or takes pity on me." Quinn answered.
"The desperate route."
"That. And this would let me know if she still cares about me at all and doesn't allow me to freeze through the night. You know how cold it gets in Ohio in the winter?"
"Maybe there's a better idea than you getting hypothermia. Who idea's was this anyway?" Sebastian frowned at how extreme this plan was.
"Santana's." Quinn shrugged her shoulder as she continued to pack her bags.
"Of course. Judging by your friendship maybe she's trying to get you kill."
Quinn laughed. "Probably. I wouldn't put it past her but I don't know what else to do."
"Maybe you do deserve to freeze. You know payback for leaving me on the roof."
"I thought I was forgiven for that, since you have Blaine in your life now." Quinn retorted before she throws a gift in his lap.
"Forgiven but not forgotten. What is this?" Sebastian asked looking at the neatly wrapped present in his hands.
"When your over at Blaine's before he leaves, can you make sure that Rachel gets that. Please." Quinn asked him politely.
"You bought her something for Christmas? After everything she's done to you..."
"Sebastian, stop. I'm just asking you for a small favor. Just drop it off. You can even give it Blaine to give it to her. But make sure she gets it. Don't lose it." Quinn interrupted him.
"Is it expensive?" Sebastian asked shaking the box. "Please tell me you didn't spend a lot of money of this. I will feel very sorry from you."
Quinn rolled her eyes.
"It's none of your business."
After getting settled in at Santana's parents house, she decided to stop by the Hummel's auto shop, who has been holding her Audi for her while she was in New York. Santana has been a good friend lately that she thought she would show her how grateful she was to have her in her life. And the one thing Santana has ever asked from her was to drive the Audi.
And the childish glee on her best friend's face when she handed her the keys was worth it.
"Not to fast. The roads are a little slippery." Quinn warned her as she sat in the passenger seat.
Santana nodded absentmindedly not taking her eyes on the road.
"My mom said that Judy is still in town, so you might be able to catch her before she goes to your Aunt's place again." Santana told her.
"I'm going to stop by tonight." Quinn answered. She was nervous of what her mother's reaction might be when she shows up unannounced at her doorstep.
"Nervous?"
"Last time I saw her, she was holding a bat destroying this car. So...yeah, I'm expecting the worst. But like you said, I got to do something."
"Burt's done an amazing job. I wouldn't even know that this car was abused like that." Santana said enjoying her drive.
Quinn smiled at the brunette.
"I'm selling it to him."
"What?" Santana turned to look at the blonde in shock.
"I don't need it."
"But it was your dad's." Santana argued.
"Yeah. He wasn't as perfect as I thought he was." Quinn said with no emotion.
Santana furrowed her brow at the revelation. Quinn had always looked up to her dad and was the definition of a daddy's girl.
"It's a shame that you're letting this baby go but it seem like a wise decision." Santana said.
Quinn was glad that Santana pushed more on the subject.
"We should head back."
"Wait... if you're selling this car then can Britt and I have sex in it before you hand it over to Burt?" Santana asked jokingly but half serious.
After hanging out all day in Blaine's apartment, where they were spending the day with each other before Blaine flight left tomorrow morning, Sebastian decided to hand Rachel Quinn's present himself. He debated whether he was going to do it or simple ask Blaine to do it for him but he never had a one on one conversation with the brunette who broke his friend's heart, and he decided he couldn't let this opportunity slip away.
Even though Quinn had warn him not to meddle in her love life, he figure maybe a little push wouldn't hurt. Quinn would never even find out about it.
Closing Blaine's door behind him, he walked the short distance, two doors down and stood in front of Rachel's door. He knocked twice before waiting patiently for the brunette to answer.
He smiled when he hears chain unlocks and sees her head poking in between the door before widening it when she recognized him.
"Sebastian?" Rachel asked confused on why he would be at her apartment.
"Rachel. It's good to see you." Sebastian greeted.
"It's nice to see you as well, but to tell you honestly, I'm a little confused on why you are here."
"I was just at Blaine's and I realized I never thank you properly from introducing us. We are getting along very well. You play a good match maker. I wish I could say the same about your own love life. Blaine has not said any kind words about your fiancé."
"My love life in none of your business." Rachel told him getting slightly irritated by his condescending tone.
"I'm curious, has Blaine ever mention why he doesn't like your fiancé?" Sebastian asked playfully tilting his head.
"No." Rachel gritted through her teeth. "And I don't need to know. Some people just don't get along."
"Hmmm...I supposed."
"Is that the only reason you're here, because I have a busy day tomorrow."
Sebastian sighed dramatically before revealing what he had hidden behind is back.
"A gift from Quinn." He handed it over to her.
Rachel looked at the present surprised. "Why would she...?"
"I asked her the same and she told me it was none of my business."
Rachel wondered what it was but didn't want to open it in front of Sebastian. She looked at him for a second contemplating on asking him what has been on her mind ever since they all had dinner the other night.
"Sebastian?" Rachel said hesitantly
"Yes?"
"Can I ask you something without it getting back to Quinn?" She shifts her feet a little.
Sebastian smiled widely at the request. There was something bothering Rachel and he knew that this was he in to help the two out.
"Of course." He answered.
"At dinner the other night. Who was that woman that Quinn disappeared with in the middle of our meal?"
Sebastian furrowed his brow as he tried to remember Quinn every leaving the table that night. He was too engaged in Blaine or arguing with Santana that he barely noticed that she had left the table. A grin appear on his face as he finally realized what she was referring to.
Rachel had already confirmed to him that she was a little jealous and he mischievously plan to use this information to add little more fire to the pot.
"I remember. Her name is Elizabeth. And she is definitely into Quinn."
Rachel tried not to let show on her face how disgusted she was at his confirmation how what she already thought had happen that night. She try to give the blonde the benefit of doubt but she was right all along. Maybe now she can forget about her.
"I think they plan to meet again actually." He added studying her reaction.
"That's great. Thanks for dropping the gift off. I see you later." She said stoically slowly closing the door in his face not seeing the sly smile on his face.
Rachel sighed and leaned against the door trying to calm herself down from Sebastian's revelation. Of course other women were interested in Quinn. She was gorgeous and charming.
Rachel looked down at the gift in her hand curious on what Quinn had gotten her. She quickly tears the beautiful wrapping paper and opens the small white box. She gasps when she recognized the necklace she lost a few months ago.
Quinn has been waiting on her mom's doorstep for almost ten minutes now, shivering from the cold. Either her mother wasn't home or she had got word that she was in town and had decided to ignore her. She check the driveway for her car but since it is winter there was a possibility that her mother and parked the cars in the garage.
She brought her hands to her mouth, breathing into it to create warmth as she decide what her next move was. She could break in but that was probably not a good idea. She didn't want to be forceful in attempt to reconcile with her mom.
She sighed heavily and accepted that tonight was a failed attempt to patch things up with her mother. Just as she turn to leave she was face with the last person she wanted to see.
"I don't think she's home."
Quinn shakes her head at her luck.
"What do you want Shelby?" Quinn getting to the point not wanting to talk to the other women for any longer than she had to.
"I didn't know you were back in town." Shelby threw her a hesitant smile.
"I didn't think you would still be in town. Thought those gossip pirañas, you once called your friends, kicked you out of Lima." Quinn said bitterly.
Shelby huffed.
"How am I the only one to blame? I didn't force you into anything Quinn?"
Quinn shut her eyes and sighed heavily. Shelby was right.
"I'm sorry. You caught me in a bad time. I'm just frustrated that I'm not getting anywhere with my mother. It's like she disowned me. Like I'm a stranger."
"Yeah." Shelby nodded walking closer to the blonde. "I know the feeling. She completely shut me out and I don't blame her."
Quinn took a seat on the front porch and Shelby copy her action.
"We never should have done what we did." Quinn told her.
"I know." Shelby agreed.
She regrets it every single day.
"My mom hates me. Rachel is disgusted by me to even think about being in a relationship with me. You got your wish in the end though. Rachel totally broke my heart. She's getting married." Quinn spat out. "I deserve it though."
"Rachel's getting married?" Shelby asked slightly shocked by the new information.
"Yeah."
"Wow. That's unexpected."
"You're telling me. I thought I could fix things between us but I was wrong." Quinn didn't know why she was confiding with the other women.
Shelby felt sympathy for the blonde. Yes, it sucked that losing one of her best friends but Quinn was losing her mother. And quite possibly the woman she could be in love with.
"You know, why I pursued you that night?" Shelby asked.
Quinn furrowed her brow. What there any other reason then good sex?
"No." She answered. She looked up at the older woman in curiosity.
"I knew about your reputation with women, everyone knew. How talented you are in pleasuring a women and I haven't experienced anything like that."
"Not to be rude, Shelby but the reason you wanted to sleep with me because my ability to make..."
"That is not the main reason though." Shelby cut her off. "I don't know how weird this is going to sound but I was jealous of Judy. Of your mother daughter relationship that I will never have with Rachel. Judy always went on about how great you were. How proud she was of you. She always talked so highly about you. She loves you."
"This is weird Shelby." Quinn said not knowing where she was going with this.
Shelby sighed.
"You were her perfect daughter and it just made me sick to hear it sometimes, as awful as that sounds. It always made me feel like a failure. I don't even want a relationship with Rachel but it was just felt like another thing that I failed in life."
"So you had sex with me to prove to my mother that I wasn't perfect. That I gave into temptation?" Quinn asked not liking what she was hearing. "Well you succeeded."
"It was stupid. I know that. I'm sorry and I regret everything that has happened. I'm trying to fix my problems now and not run away from them. I know I'm not perfect."
Quinn scoffed at her silly revelation.
"I don't even blame you. I'm not even mad at you whatever your motives may be."
"I would hope that would make me feel better but it doesn't." Shelby told her. "You're freezing and I don't think Judy's coming home any time soon."
"I'm not leaving." Quinn told her stubbornly.
Shelby raised her eyebrows at the blonde. It was freezing and she knew the blonde couldn't possibly stay out her.
"I need to see her. I haven't talked or seen her ever August and I need my mom. I know you don't understand that but she means the world to me. I accepted losing Rachel but I'm never going to ever accept losing my mom." Quinn sniffled not realizing tears were on her face.
"Quinn..." Shelby scooted closer to comfort the younger woman.
"You should go Shelby." Quinn lifted her hand to stop her advances.
"Yeah." Shelby nodded her head. "Again Quinn...I'm..."
"What is going on here?"
Both Quinn and Shelby snapped their heads up to look at the owner of the voice.
"Mom." Quinn stood up wiping the tears off her face.
"What are you two doing? On my property?" Judy asked them suspiciously.
Quinn frowned at her tone.
"This is not what it looks like mom. I came here to fix things between us. Us, as in you and me. Not me and Shelby. Umm..." Quinn tried stepping closer to her mom.
"Judy what Quinn is trying to say..."
"I told you I never wanted to see you again. And now you are here on my property with my daughter?" Judy clenched her jaw just at the very sight of her ex-best friend.
"Mom. Wait... this looks bad but...this isn't..."
"Judy..."
"Stop. Both of you. Leave before I call the police." Judy stormed past them towards her front door.
"Mom please." Quinn chased after her.
"Quinn, I don't want to talk to you." Her mom said obviously still hurt by their actions as she unlocked her door.
"But mom let me just explain."
Judy opened her door before turning around to her daughter giving her a cold stare.
"You are no longer my daughter, Quinn. Now leave." Judy slammed the door in her face.
Quinn backed up in shocked, tears resurfacing on her face from those harsh words. She never thought her mom would say those words to her.
"Mom?" She whispered not wanting to believe what just happened.
