I will admit this isn't completely finished, but I'm gonna upload it before it ends up sitting in my folders never seeing the light of day again.

I had left Tsunami to clean the table as I took control over the dishes left over from everyone's last meal. Such a kind woman, feeding a group of people she didn't even know. If only the kid was like her too, then things would be going a lot smoother than they had been. At least Inari seemed to have mellowed out after the little talks people had with him.

But wait. They're new footsteps. Someone from the village perhaps? No, couldn't be. Everyone should be at the bridge or doing their own work. With someone controlling the place that was so into money, people would most likely be focusing on their work. But if that was so, then who the hell was coming to the door?

"Tsunami..."

The sound of a sword being drawn...

"Get down!"

The door splintered, sections flying everywhere as I had to drop what I had to go cover Tsunami, almost having to jump over the table to do so. Ugh that would be a nightmare to clean up, sorry Tsunami.

Once everything seemed to have cleared, I stood only to see two guys stood where the door once had. One had visible tattoes whilst the other a strange looking hat. This was not good. Trapped with two of the enemy also with two innocents inside the house? This would be tricky. Though wouldn't be the first time facing multiple threats.

The one with the hat took a glance around the place before landing eyes on both myself and Tsunami, "We're here for the old man's daughter. Hand her over and maybe we might possibly spare you."

I frowned, lightly pushing the woman away and she got the message, leaving to find her child. There was no way I'd be handing anyone over this easily. Tsunami was too nice for that.

"Well that's a shame. Guess I might possibly have to kill you." I responded, making sure both men were in sights as Tsunami escaped.

"Great, I've been dying to cut someone!" The one with the tattoes said with a grin.

He charged forwards, his sword raised in the air. I ducked down when he swung and fired a shadow ball in his face. He stumbled back and I kicked his legs making him fall on his back. I was about to fire another shadow ball in his face when I heard a scream.

Tsunami's.

I growled, Damn it! I didn't pay attention to the other one! A light pang in the back of my head made me growl again, Ohhh, don't you dare, you floating son-of-a-

There wasn't time for that, one of those guys had Tsunami and I had no idea where Inari was.

My ear flicked at the sound of tattoo guy standing up. I turned and watched him for a moment, a small burn mark on his face. Then he charged again, another shadow ball, this time to his chest, and he was over again. A swift kick in his head made sure it stayed that way and picking up his sword made sure that if he did get up, the blade was out of the way.

I wasn't against killing someone. Actually I prefered to kill my enemies. I know I shouldn't think that way, but if they were dead it was unlikely that they would come back. Hopefully. But now I didn't have the time and this guy was easy to take out.

"Y-you get away from my mama!"

Inari! You idiotic little child!

"Inari!"

I watched from the door in horror as the remaining guy charged at the poor boy. My nose picked up something and I stopped myself from running in.

Just as the sword sliced through Inari's body, it turned to a log with Inari's hat sat on top.

"The art of substitution?!"

"Sorry I'm late." Naruto placed Inari next to Tsunami, whom appeared to have fainted and Naruto moved earlier, "It's being a hero, y'know? All that nick of time stuff!"

I sighed, "You could have been a little earlier so this would have been avoided."

He just waved me off, "Yeah, yeah. But way to go Inari! While you distracted them, I was able to save your mother!"

"Naruto, I'm gonna leave this guy to you and head for the bridge. The other one's inside."

"Okay!"

As I ran by I made sure to drop the sword in the water. The entire journey there wasn't exciting at all. At least one could be sure that no one else would be attacking Tasuna's place whilst everyone was away. Still... Where was sensei and the other two? What could be more important than defending everything, so important to leave me behind? Supply run? Kinda made me feel a little abandonned.

Let's just say I wasn't expecting what I saw next. Some ninja that looked awfully familiar stepped into a thin sheet of ice, one of many that surrounded Sasuke. Well, that wasn't good. Sakura was guarding Tazuna and Kakashi was fighting some other guy. Must have been Zabuza. Things were off to a good start, that's for sure.

Kakashi went to try and help Sasuke but was soon stopped by Zabuza. But as I went to help, something happened. I wasn't quite sure what everyone was saying, since I was a little distracted. Though I caught something about speed before Sasuke was attacked. I watched closely to see how the attack was pulled out. Though I couldn't catch much. It just seemed as if things were coming out of the mirror like ice sheets. Long, thin shards of ice. Like senbon needles. Unlike senbon, those ones must've hurt a lot judging by Sasuke's reactions. Why wasn't he just melting it? Didn't he have a fire jutsu? Was he out of chakra? Couldn't be, didn't seem like the fight was going on that long. Maybe he had exhausted himself more than I thought.

Wait... that ninja in the mask was familiar. Same body shape, height and well... That didn't matter! Sakura didn't look like she was coping that well, but Naruto would be arriving soon and no one was actually attacking her. She was just looking over the old man. Kakashi seemed to be up against Zabuza, but the sensei would be able to handle himself if he was as great as people made him out to be. Sasuke on the other hand... The other two had hardly a scratch on them but the poor boy was covered in wounds from the ice needles! At least no one seemed to have caught onto my presence just yet. If only the others were here, life would be so much easier. Eight ninja against these two would be easier than what was going on now.

Sasuke was in the most danger at the current moment, how, I had no idea I just knew something needed doing. Poor guy just suffered another round of ice. Sakura seemed to have the same idea until she saw me move towards the ice mirrors, instead settling for just a throw of her kunai before moving back to protect the old man. Well I wasn't too sure if she was giving Sasuke her kunai or trying to attack the person in th mirrors, but either way it failed. The person caught the kunai just their head and hand looked 3D.

Preparing a shadowed hand, I barely had chance to attack before the person was knocked out of the mirror, hitting the floor rather hard. Neither Sakura or Kakashi had moved and Sasuke was clearly trapped. Looked like Naruto had caught up. Still, I took the chance to look over one of the mirrors. It was certainly strange, that was for sure. Sasuke was trapped in there, otherwise he would have left by now. Or maybe he just wasn't as smart as everyone thought.

A/N: Uhhhh... so sorry for my massive absence in writing this chapter and I will admit the only reason it's out now is cause... I was a little drunk (I'm 19 now so it is legal, just so you know)

But! I've been having a lot of thoughts about this recently and since I've had artists block for the last few days, and everything has settled down. I wont guarantee anything when it comes to updates anymore. I get stressed easily, especially when it comes to any sort of mind block. But I'm out of education for good now, and I'm glad. It made my life too busy for my liking and I suffered a bit of a mental downer. I'm a lot happier now and in a much better mental state. I have no excuses for not updating this, I have a stay at home job so I'm at home 24/7.

Enough of that! I think I've given up on the halloween chapters for now. I might go through it and rewrite it. I actually had to rewrite the beginning of this chapter so you may have noticed a quality dip half way through. I have many ideas for the exams and I want to get to that as soon as possible so I don't forget everything again.
