Balthazar dropped him off at the diner where he was supposed to meet Dean. Thank god he was free. He didn't know what he would do if he asked one of his brothers to take him to the diner to meet a guy. They would probably kill him at least Michael would. Gabriel would just tease him which would be just as bad knowing Gabriel. He would probably ask really personal questions and for Cas to answer. Although lately he's been asking a lot of questions about. He'll remember to ask those at least to make him quiet.
"So here we are" Balthazar said as he stopped the car. "I can't believe it, my little baby boy is going out on his first date."
"It's not a date." Cas said
"Yeah but you wish it was."
"No I don't. Why would I wish that it was?"
"Because you liiike him." Balthazar said to Cas
"No I don't." Cas said blushing a little bit.
"See you do like him."
"Okay maybe I like him a little bit." Cas admitted quietly.
"Ha! I knew it."
"Just promise me not to tell my brothers or at least not Michael."
Balthazar just nodded. He didn't make a joke. He knew how serious a situation this was. He's met Michael and Lucifer. He knows what they can be like. Cas was forced to tell them that he was no longer hanging out with Balthazar because they heard that he was gay.
"So just let me give you a little first date advice."
"It's not a date. I'm just meeting him to talk up about some school stuff."
"Yeah whatever, it's a date. First off don't give up on a date on a first date. Make him work for it. Nobody will buy the cow when they can get the milk for free."
"What do cows have to do with me not having a premarital sex?" Cas asked confused
Balthazar laughed and said "God, Cas. It's just sex. Nobody says premarital sex anymore. It's just an expression Cas that basically means don't give it up so soon."
"Oh okay." Cas said nodding in understanding
"Now go and be flirty."
"Okay bye." Cas said as he grabbed his books and exited the car.
As he walked into the diner. He started to freak out. What if this was a date? What if Dean was going to admit his love for Dean? Or what if he was reading this too much into this? Thoughts like this kept racing through his mind until he saw Dean. He was pouring over some book. Eyes furrowed in confusion. Cas quickly walked over to where Dean was. He noticed that Dean was wearing a tight band shirt that highlighted his broad chest and what looked like the beginning of a 6-pack. Calm down Cas, he's just a guy, an extremely hot guy.
Cas cleared his throat as he sat down not wanting to startle Dean. Dean looked up from the book looking like he was about to tell him to go away but then when he saw Cas he said "Hey."
"So what are you working on?"
"Some Ancient Greek stuff. I still don't understand it."
"What don't you get?"
"It's just everything. It's a totally different control than ours. It's just so hard to understand." He said slamming the book down on the table.
"Look just let me try to explain it to you. We'll start with the gods."
They spent the next hour and a half going over ancient Greece and when they went over Aphrodite. Cas couldn't help but let at a silent prayer that she was watching over him and get Dean to fall in love with him even though it was a sin.
