Abri moved herself up so she could see who it was, to her fear and horror. The first thing her eyes landed on was a chain tattoo.

"What do you want?!" Abri asked with a hiss as she used her hand to try and untangle the metal item that tripped her and was wrapped around her legs.

. "Well," He mocked her voice. "I'm here to either kill you, or take you to be a little slave and a pig pet." He grinned as she flipped his gun around.

"Over my dead body." Abri snapped at him.

"Well I think I'll take you up on that offer." He grins and pulls his gun out "Even dead, you father will do anything he can to get your body back." Abri's eyes widen at the mention of her father.

"You leave him out of this! I don't care about myself, but don't you DARE try to harm my father!" Abri snapped angrily at him.

"Ohh~ hit a soft spot?" He cooed. "You may be all angry now, but I'm sure you'll change your mind and want to give him away for your own life." The man shrugged like it was nothing.

"I'd rather die than have you do anything to him." Abri hissed as she finally got the rope off her legs. She lunged at him while he was distracted with spinning his guns. She tacked him to the ground being sure to grab his wrist so his hand would push up. The sound of the gun ringing gave Abri a shock, so she stopped in mid action giving him the opportunity to shove her backwards and trip her.

"Sorry, but you'll need more training when it comes to hearing the sound of guns and people screaming out for mercy." He grinned as he pointed the gun down at her.

"My favorite part is the screaming." His grin became a smart smirk that Abri wanted to punch off his face.

"I hope you burn." Abri was just about to kick him in his private part when she heard a gunshot. She froze, and slowly looked down to her stomach. The gun shot missed and hit her arm grazing it. Instead of seeing him trying to re-load, she saw the man grabbing his arm that was bleeding also.

"ABRILBELL!" Someone yelled. Abri felt like everything was going in slow motion as her father held his rifle was was shooting with one hand and running.

"Ah~ so papa bear decided to come and play'" The other man frowned at his mocking words.

"Damn right I did." Bull said as he put his gun on his shoulder. Bull lifted an eyebrow as he watched the other man slowly back up. Bull shrugged his shoulder a bit bouncing his gun off his shoulder as he slowly lowers it and points it at the man.

"You wanna know what else papa bears do when someone try to touch their cubs." Bulls eyes narrowed in a way Abri's never seen them before.

"Dad...what are you going to do?" Abri asked shaking a little bit. The man with the tattoo seemed to also be taken back at his words.

"They kill them." Bulls eyes narrowed as he was about to pull the trigger. Abri's eyes widen in horror as she was about to let out a scream.

"Now." He glanced at at Abri for a second as a pair of white gloves hides her eyes as the sound of a gunshot rang her ears. Abri's body slowly started to fall so the person behind her gently laid her down on the ground. Bull looked at his daughter that passed out then back to the dead body.

"Alucard..." He said as he pulled out his phone.

"Yes?" Alucard stood up as he picked up Abri with one hand behind her back and the other in her bend of her legs. Her head rolled to the side leaning on his right arm as hers started to bleed heavily.

"...Take Abri to get medical treatment." Bull walked away pulling out his phone to get the clean up crew there.

"Gladly." Alucard bowed mockingly. Alucard began to walk off with Abri in the direction of the hospital. But paused at the next bench they passed. He sat gently down and got a good look at her. She was the same girl that he had left behind a few weeks ago, she just had on a bit of makeup and her hair was straight. He glanced at the wound on her arm. He lifted her arm and brought it up to his lips. He ran his tongue over the wound letting his saliva heal it enough for it to need a few stitches.

As he tasted the sweet blood, a picture flashed in his mind. It was a picture of Abri holding a picture of him close to her heart. It was apparently the night before she was going to leave. She had fallen asleep with the picture tucked into her chest and over her heart. He pondered over this as he cleaned up the leftover blood on her arm. Just as he got to her wrist. He saw the marks of his teeth on her skin. It was so small that only he could see it or if you looked at it closely. He didn't heal it all the way, the reason he didn't know. Maybe for the simple pleasure of marking her. He let out a purr as he thought on the sweet texture of the blood. He resisted his craving for more as he held her hand and kissed the top of her knuckles.

"Looks like we're going to have plenty of time to catch up...Abri..." Alucard grinned as he kneeled down in front of her. He took a cloth out of his pocket and wrapped it around her arm.

"But this time," His grin widened. "I'll be in a different form." He let out a devilish laugh as his shadow swallowed them whole and swirled until it vanished into the shadow of a tree.

A dulled eyed Abri sat in the room of the hospital slowly moving her fingers along the tight and layered bandage she had on her arm that protected her stitches. She was deep in thought, lost at what just happend. All she knew was she heard a gunshot and something hitting the ground. She wasn't really sure if it was the sound of her body or the mans.

'Was he even alive when he hit the ground?' Abri shivered at her own question. She couldn't help but think of random things and theories in her mind. The white room and beeping noise was the only thing in the room so her imagination when wild. Addie found her father on the way to get Abri and updated her so she was now getting her things so she and Abri would make a break for it when she was discharged. She flinched when someone knocked on the door.

"Abrilbell...it's me.." Her father said softly. She watched as the door opened and her father walks in.

"Abrilbell..." He started.

"DON'T CALL ME THAT NAME!" Abri snapped yelling at him. The man had wavy black hair to his ears and gray eyes. The man sighs with an understanding smile

"Abri I know that-" "YOU KNOW NOTHING!" She yelled at him.

"YOU KNOW NOTHING OF WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH THESE PAST FEW WEEKS! AND THEN YOU...YOU SUDDENLY... YOU KILL A MAN RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!" She screamed out as she gripped the covers. She was irritated because this little visit to the hospital almost blew her secret about her dying.

If the doctor had done looked too closely while she slept, it would have been all over. Abri laid her head farther back on the pillow with a groan. She really didn't know what she was going to do. If her father found out, she's be dead before what ever was killing her had her fully around the neck. She didn't see her dad had sat next to her on a chair until he sighed.

"I'm sorry, you or I can't change it, I'm sorry for what happened.' He tries to put his hand on her shoulder but she jerks it away and cries out in pain from her other.

"Don't touch me." She growled. "You're already tried taking away my friends, my old home, so why are you doing it again? Now I'm going to get mixed up in some murder case." She tried her best not to snap on her father, but it was getting harder and harder. Her father flinched a little bit and his eyes softened as he watched tears roll down her face. He tried to pat her shoulder against but she flinched away ignoring the pain of her stitches.

"...You'll be told about the family business...that will clear everything up.." Bull said, this caught Abri's attention but she was still angry. "There's no charges for me shooting that man and you won't have to worry about anything, it's cleared up."

"Even with that, I'll still have to go back to that house." Abri reminded him. "I'll take jail."

"Look...I know that things haven't been stable between you and your mother-" "She's not my mother! My real mom, and my step mom before that, were my real mothers. This woman here is not!" Abri hissed. Over the past years of her life. Abri has had three mothers. One, her real one, two, her step mother that's Raven's mother and her other half siblings DJ and Smith. She was the one who owned the business. But when heart failure took her life, her father had to take over it. Her father was in a depressed state so he married her current step mother who loved him for his money and power.

Wodiw Black, when the incident with Raven happened, turned all the house staff along with everyone in there against her saying it was her fault Abri came out perfectly fine while Raven had a life long scar on her body. She said Abri cared for her own safety instead of Ravens and ran leaving the pillar to fall on her sister then ran outside but passed out.

But the reason Abri didn't move was because she was in shock that the object was heading to her, Raven was brave enough to jump on Abri and save her life. But all she remembered was Raven jumping in front of her, black smoke, and then next thing she knew, Abri was laying in the grass outside the building and Raven was missing. She searched ran to go back inside, but the fire department was already there and rescued Raven.

Raven was kept away from her by the staff and Wodiw since then. Despite her little sister's attempts to tell everyone Wodiw was wrong, that Abri didn't abandon her. Raven thought one of the men came back and tried to kidnap Abri still but dropped her when the cops showed, but Wodiw already got into everyone head.

Everyone the manor would shame her and ignore her. Maids would put different things in her food like roaches or their eggs in piles. She always got herself food that was canned like she did before living in the manor. But the maid hid all of them around the house so she would either have to starve, find them herself, or eat what they had cooked and sabotaged.

"You know nothing..." Abri gripped her covers even harder as she put her hands on her face as the memoirs of everything bad that happened played in her mind.

"You're right...I don't...it's also my fault-" "It is not your fault!" Abri cut Bull off. "You weren't the one who is blamed! You're not the one who couldn't protect her! I passed out from the heat..." Abri felt her sobs slowly come up. "And I let the pillar hit her."

"She's not the one who should have been hurt...she wasn't the one who should have been hurt..." Now Abri was bawling her eyes out as she leaned on her knees. "I don't know why I ended up outside of that building...or how... but I know it's my fault." Abri bawled into her sleeve.

"If I could, I'd take her place and have that scar running down my face and back instead of her." Her father was trying to find some comforting words. But he just couldn't, he didn't know Abri had felt his way without him knowing.

"It's my fault...I'm not going back there...I refuse..." Her father watched on as she hid her face from him.

"Abrilbell- I mean, Abri... you have to go back." Her father put his hand on her leg.

"I need you." He tried to convince her with words. He was not an emotional man, he never showed emotional affection to her or his children.

"I have to have someone at home, your step mother can't deal with the business. She'll flush it right down the drain. Plus she's too busy with her mother's business in town." He softly smiled.

"We have plenty of money! She can quit that job and do this one!" Abri grumbled still looking down. "I know it's selfish, that place has bad memories too." She whispered.

"I'm sorry Abri...but it has to be done." Her father slowly got up from his chair and walked out. "You'll understand soon..." He sighed sadly.

"You can even see Raven...she's been worried about you. She thinks she drove you off..."This struck Abri hard.

"She really wants to see you...if you want to blame anyone...blame me...for not knowing what was going on in my own home...for not seeing sooner why things were so quiet around the house...why you cried at each and everything and smiled in the morning...I know you made it so I didn't know when I was getting stressed with work." He was about to close the door when Abri spoke up.

"Daddy?" She slowly turned her head a bit to look at him. He paused for a second before he closed it.

"I love you." She whispered. Her father swallowed a lump in his throat and slowly went over to her and hugged her. She threw her arms around him and cried on his shoulder.

"I love you too." His voice shook as he spoke. After a second, he pulled away from her and made his way quickly out the door. Abri looked confused at his sudden escape and wiped something from her forehead.

"...how did my tear get up here?" She questioned as she looked at it, she watched as it fell of her finger on onto the bed. Then she water in her hair, so she looked up at the ceiling.

"The ceiling isn't leaking..." She was really confused, but the pain of her shoulder forced her to turn her attention to it. Just like magic, a nurse came in with painkillers.

"It's time to take your medication." She said kindly as she held it up. Abri sighed out in relief as the nurse twisted off the cap to the pain medication.

"You came just in time." Abri tried to smile. "But I'm not sure if those can help numb the pain that I need taken care of..."

A few hours later after paperwork was done, and Abri begging her dad to let Addie come along when she decided not to run away. But now Abri was released from the hospital. She had to keep her shoulder from bumping into anything for a week or two before it was healed all the way. Addie had already headed to the airport to get their bags on the plane incase something got in their way and they would just have to jump on the private jet.

"Well looks like you're going to be living a fancy life." The nurse joked as she walked Abri outside. "The limo out there is quite fancy." Abri nodded not wanting to give up her hopes, it was a nice ride, but she wasn't looking forward to where it was going.

"Now then, go right to these doors and it should be pulling around from the back in a minute." The nurse nodded to her as Abri when out the front doors.

"Thank you." She said politely giving her a little bow before the doors closed. Abri looked at the hospital then the sky, she had a feeling her entire life was about to change. Good or bad? She couldn't tell. Taking a deep breath, Abri turned around and started walking to the-...Abri's jaw dropped as she saw the sight before her, right there on the ground. Was a dead body, the jaw dislodged and cracked away from it's joint, half the face ripped and half an eyeball gone, teeth on the ground, blood pooling around everywhere at her feet.

"A-a-a-a-." Her lips trembled to try and get the words out.

"A-a-a-a...A...A. A A A AHHHHHHH!" She finally let out a ear busting scream as she fell onto her knees.

"DADDY!"
