A/N: Hello, it is Blackgold Phoenix and I back, finally. Sorry for the long delay, but life is a bitch. I have finished with school all together and will be in the U.S. Navy as of August, so this is the last time I will be doing the edits. We have a new guy doing the edits while I am gone. it was fun doing this and definitely put my skills to the test. Blackgold is finishing up his exams and will soon be writing more, but not on this profile. This is my last time for a long while on this story, so we hope you enjoy.
After the news of the attack came in, the Saints and the Uptown Riders wasted no time in moving to the different zones to fend off the Spanish Lordes. Each group went to a different location, as indicated by Kinzie via phone. The original teams were changed some, with the Boss, Viola, and Oleg together while Pierce, Shaundi, and Zimos went together.
Malc and Desean would be off on their own with their own people, as it seemed like the best option in the current situation. The groups then all drove around their turf, waiting for Kinzie to give them directions or to run into a gunfight.
Boss's POV
"Boss, you and your group has to head to the south end of the neighborhood, quick!" Kinzie quickly told the group. "And don't forget, if the cops are there, get the hell out! We can't have them on our heels."
"Like it was done!" the Boss commented back, sticking his head out the window. "Oaky everybody, we have some streets to clean up! I hope you brought some good artillery to do the housecleaning!"
"Hey Boss, once we take over everything, we should really refurbish the streets of Bohan," Viola suggested.
"Why do you care so much about the appearance of the street? You could have suggested this to Phillip Loren when you worked for the Syndicate, because a lot of neighborhoods of Steelport looked like shit," the Boss retorted. "I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but if you want to do that, we have to get rid of every concurrence first and we have to get the mayor of this city in our pocket."
"Like Burt Reynolds?" Viola asked, raising and eyebrow.
"No, that's different," the Boss tried to defend. "Reynolds is an associate, which is different."
"Come on, Boss, you know very well he doesn't really have any power and that he works with the dominant faction or gang of Steelport," Viola argued, knowing it would get the Boss defensive.
"What are you talking about? He does have power, here, for example; one time, I got chased by the cops, I called him and he told the cops to back off," the Boss tried to defend.
"Because you were involved, that's why he could do something, but trust me, when it involved people losing their job, for example, he didn't really do something. But anyway, can we stop the discussion and focus on fighting those bastards out of our territory?" Viola finished, ready to finish the job and get some sleep.
"Good idea," the Boss agreed. "Killing people will calm me the fuck down!"
"My god, what a dedicated fan you are," Viola half-whispered.
The Boss didn't add anything, from either not hearing or not caring, and tried to focus on the upcoming fights about to happen. They reached the first area shooting, finding Saints members shooting it out with some Spanish Lordes. The Saints members had placed their cars in the middle of the street, hoping to have some cover from the hail of bullets streaming towards them. The Boss didn't like his people stuck like they were and ran over to his people.
Viola and Oleg followed behind him, firing and charging into Spanish Lordes. The few Spanish Lordes left fired on the new group of Saints. This gave the Boss enough time to get to the lead Saint of the group.
"Thank god you arrived with back-up Boss," the Saint member said.
"No problem, but when did all this get started?" the Boss asked, trying to figure out where to focus his forces.
"They arrived out of nowhere and started to shoot everything that wore purple, even citizens," a female Saints member said.
"No surprise," Viola commented, arriving at the cover. "We did take their hideout and stole a part of their prostitution market."
"I only have one order for you: Kill every single one of these Motherfuckers!" the Boss yelled out, firing over the cover.
While randomly firing, the Boss was able to take out one of the Spanish Lordes dumb enough not to stay in cover. As all fire was then directed to the Boss, this left Oleg with no resistance as he charged at the few Spanish Lordes left and knocked one of them into a wall so hard death was immediate.
"Savage!" the Boss yelled, watching as Oleg smashed.
Viola moved to another area, helping out the Saints there. The battle there started to get even, but the Spanish Lordes had more cover with cars as the Saints were stuck with a small wall. The Boss noticed this and knew that if help did arrive there soon, things would get worse.
"Oleg! I need you to clear a path for the crew over there, I got this," the Boss yelled out.
"As you wish, my friend," Oleg answered, turning and moving towards Viola.
The Boss reloaded his weapon, checking his cover and finding it start to smoke. Not wanting to be caught in another explosion, he start to back away.
"The car's about to blow, get back!" the Boss shouted, the rest of the /saints using the vehicle as cover ran with him.
The each had to find a new form of cover, whether it be in an alley, a car wash, or another vehicle. The Boss's plan was to keep shooting, even when he jumped a vehicle. This stunt awarded him with a kill, and finding the lack of snipers enjoying. He then charged forward, his confidence high as he knew it would be difficult to take him down now. But as he surveyed the numbers, he instead decide it would be best not to run into a one-v.-fourteen, and aimed for car's engine.
"You have mierda in your eyes?" One Spanish Lordes member shouted at the Boss.
"Even my abuela can shoot better!" another joked. And it was their last as the car exploded, killing three instantly and the rest catching fire, eventually succumbing to the flames.
"Aye, está muy caliente!" the Boss shouted out, waving for the rest of the Saints to finish what was left.
"This par's clean, but I want you to check to see whose still breathing and finish them. No survivors tonight," the Boss said, heading towards Viola and Oleg.
He was more or less checking to see if they needed help, and found that they had decreased the numbers from before. They were still in need of help though, and the Boss wanted to help. And he felt that shooting some unsuspecting Spanish Lorde would work, which resulted in the removal of his head from existence.
"Boom! Headshot!" the Boss shouted from behind Viola.
"Damn, Boss, I didn't see you coming!" Viola jumped. "Don't do that again, I thought you were one of those guys coming."
"Sorry, I had to say that one!" the Boss laughed. "Anyway, it seems your group have progress compared to earlier."
"Oleg got rid of a third of them, more or less," Viola replied.
"How many?" the Boss asked.
"About twenty," Viola answered, occasionally standing from cover to fire.
"Good thing we have him on our side! No wonder the brutes you cloned were based on him," the Boss commented, taking shots at the enemy from cover.
"I wondered why we didn't use cloning after taking over Steelport. You could have used it at your advantage," Viola wondered.
"Because, I don't want one of my crew to serve as an experimental pet and your clones were very dumb. Several time, I saw them using their own allies as weapons by throwing them at me," the Boss replied.
"You got a point there, but we could have just sampled DNA and that's it," Viola retorted before having a thought. "A clone of you would be the worst idea ever, any city would be wrecked in less than a day."
"I have thrills just thinking about it," the Boss said with a smile.
"Can we please get this over with?" Viola asked, a piece of her cover being knocked away from gun fire.
"With pleasure," the Boss agreed, standing up from cover and charging the Spanish Lordes. "Eat this motherfucker!"
This surprised the Spanish Lordes, which was enough for the Saints to fire on them. The destruction involved several flaming cars, bodies with large holes in them, and one with his jaw in two pieces from a kick by Oleg. Even with a low kill count, the Boss was still happy with the result.
"I guess we're done here, good job everyone. Now let's get the fuck out of here!" the Boss announced.
"Boss, we should call Kinzie and see if anywhere else needs to cleaned up," Oleg commented.
"We will, but let's get out of here first," the Boss said, them getting into the truck.
The Boss called up Kinzie as the last Saints drove from the area. The Boss was glad to have hired somebody like Kinzie into the Saints, things just seemed simpler, even though he was in deep trouble back in Steelport.
"Yo, Kinzie, we're finished here, is there still a battle on our turf?" the Boss asked.
"Great, you should meet up with Pierce, Shaundi, and Zimos. They're almost done near Jolie St." Kinzie replied.
"What about Malc and Desean?" the Boss asked, wondering how his two partners were doing.
"Don't worry, they're fine too. They're fighting near the train station," Kinzie told him.
"Okay, thanks, that's what I wanted to hear," the Boss told Kinzie.
"Good luck, and don't forget what to do if the cops show up!" Kinzie finished, ending the call.
"How is everyone doing?" Oleg asked.
"They're almost done. I think you and Viola should go to one location. Call Kinzie and She'll tell you where to go," the Boss said.
"Just by sending us to one will be faster?" Viola asked.
"Of course, I know I can count on you," the Boss replied. "We have no time to waste on defending ourselves, we should be the ones fucking them up instead. After we're done with all this mess, we have to make a plan to eradicate their operation, at least in Bohan."
"And by 'we', you mean Oleg, Pierce, Kinzie, Shaundi, Zimos, and myself, right?" Viola asked.
"That's why I'm the leader and you're all my Lieutenants. You elaborate and I lead the battle," the Boss explained.
"Even though some of your points are current, Viola, he is right in some aspects," Oleg commented. "We have to move them out of the way, so to speak."
Are you two implying I'm a bad leader?" The Boss asked, acting offended.
"You're better than Killbane, that's for sure, even though you don't come up with a real plan most of the time," Viola commented.
"Hey!" the Boss said, feeling offended.
"No, but you over use brutality. You should reconsider your tactics sometimes," Oleg also said.
"Says the nearly 7 foot tall man who tears everything or every enemy up when he fights," the Boss retorted.
"I'll take that as a compliment," Oleg said, smiling.
"It's not like I don't want to talk with you, but we have to separate so we can finish cleaning up this mess," Viola finished the speaking. "Anyway, take into consideration what we told you, it could be useful for the Saints later."
The Boss nodded as Oleg and Viola went their separate way. He set his GPS to the place where the other street where there was more fighting happening. He drove for a little, Saints following him as he made his way Bohan.
The Boss drove up at a location that was filled with Spanish Lordes, but they were all busy with the Saints who were already there. The Boss took this chance to drive behind them, firing out the window and causing chaos in the fight on part with the Spanish Lordes. The Boss jumped out of his car and made his way to the Saints Lieutenants.
They had made obvious progress, but still were in need of assistance. The Boss was fast and agile as the Spanish Lordes who changed target were quickly gunned down by the present Saints.
"Nice save guys," the Boss thanked, glad that his crew was good.
"Hey, playa, you kill all of the Spanish Lordes in your area without breaking a sweat or what?" Zimos asked, surprised to see the Boss so soon.
"Being a suicidal motherfucker doesn't suit you at all," Peirce joked.
"Maybe, but a death cheater then," the Boss joked back.
"I hope you didn't come here because you thought we couldn't handle it?" Shaundi asked.
"Relax, Shaundi, I know you all can do it, I'm just here to make sure that it gets done faster. We don't have time to waste with this," the Boss alleviated.
"It was beginning to get boring here anyway, good thing you're here so we can get this over with," Shaundi said, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"And the faster we're done here, the sooner I can get to know my new employees," Zimos commented.
"Then what are you all standing around for?" the Boss asked. "Let's do this!"
As soon as he shouted, all the Saints stood up and fired at the Spanish Lordes. As they cut through each line, they moved forward, their firing line moving forward. They moved to another area of fighting, using the vehicles as cover and continued fighting the Spanish Lordes.
"Boss, there's too many of them, take this!" Peirce shouted, tossing the Boss an assault shotgun. "It should do the trick."
"Where the fuck did you get this?" the Boss asked.
"Malc gave it to me, but I'm not much of a shotgun person. Thought you might like it more," Pierce answered.
"Nice, let's test this baby out!" the Boss thanking, cocking the weapon and charging out into the fray.
The Boss was happy at the rate of fire the shotgun had and proceeded to gun down all in his path. Mostly it was the vehicle in front of them hiding the last of the Spanish Lordes. The vehicle quickly exploded from the weapon barrage and killed the members hiding behind the car. That explosion put an end to the fighting there in a hurry.
"Looks like they got burned," the Boss commented.
"Thank God that's over!" Shaundi shouted. "I hope those fuckers got the messge to not fuck with us."
"I think we can calm their sorry ass down for a while, but Playa, we can't only focus on them," Zimos said, turning to the Boss. "We have to go after someone else, or at least remove them out of Bohan somehow."
"You just gave me an idea!" Peirce said to Zimos, turning to the Boss. "Boss, do you still have Papi's number?"
"The drug dealer we met a few days ago? Yeah, I still have him, why?" the Boss asked, not following Pierce's train of thought.
"Remember, he said that he know wher most of their drug dealings are. You should ask him where the areas are and steal everything they have," Pierce suggested.
"Okay, I'll deal with that, but for now, let's get the hell out of here," the Boss half-agreed, wanting to get some rest.
They all got into their vehicles, intent to get some rest, and the Boss called up Viola to see how things were going. She picked up, not really surprised he called.
"Viola, does your team need help?"
"No, we're fine, it was actually quite easy," Viola informed the Boss.
"Everything's under control then? Cool," the Boss said, glad things were coming together nicely.
"Hey playa," Malc said over Viola's phone. Thanks for the backup, but Desean and I could've gotten shit done ourselves."
"I only wanted to get this over with, we have bigger things to do," the Boss tried to explain.
"Damn Oleg!" Desean shouted somewhere that was close enough to be heard over the phone. "You slammed that dude right over a windshield. That was nasty!"
"AS you heard, we're fine. See you at the safe house," Viola finished, hanging up the phone.
A few hours later
The Bellic cousins were getting our of their flat to go to work. They had hung out together the day before after work, going bowling and drinking at a Liberty City bar. It was obvious that the two had too much and were nursing a hangover.
"Damn, my head hurts so bad," Roman said, clutching his head in pain. "Remind me to not take so much alcohol next time. Mallorie wil think I look like a sack of shit or I cheated on her."
"It's not like I could stop you from drinking," Niko replied. "By the way, did you tell her about your situation with you know who?"
"Of course not, I don't want to get involved with this!" Roman raised his voice, regretting it with a fresh waves of pain in his head.
"You really should tell her before it gets out of control. After all, she work with you," Niko reasoned with his cousin.
"I'll figure it out later, I just want a normal day for now, okay cuz?" Roman asked.
Niko didn't respond and when they walked out of the building, a surprise his them both. The ground was littered with bodies and the cops were trying to figure out where to start.
"What the fuck is going on?!" Roman shouted.
"Oh, God," Niko whispered to himself. "What have the Saints done this time?"
