The Legend Awakens Part One: Flash
Broly was snoring in his bed, exhausted from his fight with Zamasu. He's content and would like to keep sleeping, but fate has other plans. A door slamming woke the Saiyan up and he sensed a familiar energy. The Raven haired teen dashed into the living room to see Kurumu hauling a bag inside. She looks at Broly and gives him a disarming smile. He scoops the blue haired Succubus up in a bearhug as he says excitedly, "You're back!" The Yokai giggles to herself as she pats his hair, "Good boy. Down." Suddenly realizing what he's doing, the reborn warrior sets her down, blushing the entire time. The dup are silent as Kurumu goes and brings the rest of her luggage to her room. Broly walks into the kitchen and checks out how much food they have. A growl of annoyance as he says, "None."
He walks back to the living room to see Kurumu on the couch, passed out. The warrior scoops her up in his arms and carries her to her room. Laying her down, he observes the room around him. Several posters decorate the walls and a small telescope sat on her desk by a stack of magazines. Broly sits down and flips through her collection, none of it intrests him. Realizing what he's doing, Broly darts out of his room. Laying down, Broly prepares to sleep, but gets a message from Gohan. 'Meet me in my office.'
The Saiyan dashes down the path and makes it to his teacher in record time. Gohan was clad in an orange and blue gi and was beaming aws he says, "We're training today." Broly, still clad in his student uniform, asks Gohan, "Can I change?" Gohan gives his consent as he tells Broly, "Meet me in the woods." The duo split apart and go their seperate ways. Broly walks up to Gohan in a pair of white pants, black boots, and a green sleeveless hoodie. Gohan unleashes his Ki and he instructs Broly how to do the same. After several minutes the reborn warrior finally unleashed a fiery green aura. "Now.", his teacher grinned, "Unleash as much as you can." Broly crouches and begins to scream at the top of his lungs. Gohan was impressed with all the energy the reborn warrior was giving his all. 'If only his seal were removed.', he tells himself as he examines his student.
Broly's hair flares blue as his eyes flash red. "You're becoming a Super Saiyan!", exclaims in shock, "His seal isn't holding!" Broly's hair turns a golden-green as his muscle mass was increasing immensely. "Kakarrot!", the Legendary Super Saiyan roars as he glares at his teacher, who's sweating nervously. The seal on his neck was glowing green as cracks appeared on its surface and it faded into nothing. Before he could attack, Broly begins to spasm uncontrollably. "What?", The reborn Saiyan collapses to his knees as his energy vanishes and he reverts to his base form. Gohan rushes forwards and catches him in his arms. The teacher flies to the bus stop and sees it's about to leave.
Gohan slammed down atop of the roof as gently as he could and watched his student's limp form. The door opens up and the duo slip inside of it. Worried to a new level about Broly, he was finding it hard to think straight. Broly was pretty much a son at this point. 'Dad told me about this. King Yemma must be retracting his deal.' If only Gohan knew that Uub knew this too and was rounding up everyone to help as best they could.
Uub rounded up the Newspaper Club, minus Gin, and he informed them of what to do. They were going to find Goku and talk to King Yemma. Uub knew about the deal because he overheard Goku telling Piccolo about it. With that, the Newspaper Club rushed off to save their fellow student. They reached the bus stop to see that it was already gone. "Damn it.", Tsukune spat bitterly as he cradled his head with his forearms. A sense of vertigo consumed him as he fell to his knees. Moka crouched beside him and asked innocently, "Are you okay?" Tsukune feels like death as he grins weakly and gives her a shaky thumbs up, "I'm fine."Uub gives the human a sad frown as they await the bus. They all stare at Tsukune as he shudders uncontrollably. Black energy begins to course out of his body and he instinctively rips off Moka's rosary. Her hair turns silvery and her eyes become crimson as she becomes her true self. Inner Moka glares at him and spits out, "What?" She then sees the dark energy and realizes what's going on. "Damn it!" With that the dark haired human loses conscousness.
Uub grabs Tsukune in a sleeper hold, but is flipped over into Kurumu. Moka kicks the dark Ki filled human in the jaw and he stumbles back, more out of shock than pain. Tsukune begins to laugh evilly as he walks forwards menacingly. Yukari waves her wand and a golden pot slams into Tsukune's head. More enraged than hurt, he lunges forwards but the Witch summons vines around his legs. Roaring in fury, he stares at the warrior before holding up his hands by his face. Uub is confused as he asks, "What? Solar Flare?" Met with silence, "You just got your nails done?" More silence before Uub inquires, "You want a knee to the face?" Tsukune flinches back in shock as the magic infused human slams a knee to his face alongside a point blank Kamehameha. Tsukune rips his legs free and kicks the mohawked teen aside like nothing and starts laughing. "Stop laughing!", the S Class Vampire roars as he keeps laughing. Uub starts to laugh along as he says between giggles, "Stop laughing... Ha... Ha. Ha. Now you're making me laugh."
Tsukune stops laughing and fires a massive mouth laser at the group. Uub throws up a Ki field and it shatters after several seconds. "Ow!", the mohawked teen roared in pain, "You bitch!" Uub's entire body was hurting, but he pushed that aside. Before the dark warrior could lunge forwards, Moka kicked him onto the road. While the dark powered human recovered, the bus came out of nowhere and slammed Tsukune into a tree. The door opened and the bus driver grins as he says, "Special trip. Next stop, the human world." This bus driver was different than the other, younger but wearing a kitsune mask. Uub grabs the unconscous Tsukune and everyone climbs aboard. The silver haired Vampiree was asking Uub, "Do you know what that was?" Uub shrugs as he tells her, "If I knew, we'd both have an answer." Honesty was sometimes brutal, if the Yokai's face was anything to go by. "Where's my rosary", Moka growls angrily as she looks at the unconscious teen. The magic infused human searched Tsukune's pockets and froze in horror. "It's not here."
Moka screeched enraged as she was shaking Uub, "What do you mean it's not there?" Uub wasn't smiling as he shot back, "Gone. Nada. Lost." Kurumu interrupts the standoff by asking Buu's reincarnation, "Where do you think they took Broly?" A low sigh as Uub scratched his chin, "Probably Kami's Lookout." Yukari's eyes widen as she shouts excitedly, "Kami?" Uub groans in annoyance as he massages his temples, "Yes, Kami. From there they're probably going to go to King Yemma's Palace in the Other World." "The Other World?", the Witch questions in confusion, "As in the afterlife?" "Yes Yukari, the afterlife.", Uub explains without pause, "I overheard Goku and Piccolo talking about Broly's situation several months ago." "Well?", the blue haired Succubus inquires curiously, "What is his dead?" Uub takes a deep breath before he resumes his explanation.
"After the original Broly's death my mentor Goku went to King Yemma and struck a deal with him. Broly would be reincarnated, but if he acts like a monser..." "What happens?", Kurumu is panicking now, "What happens to him?" "He's returned to the Other World." Everyone there takes a collective gasp and silence falls over the group. Tsukune stirs awake and asks everyone, "What happened?" Moka is glaring daggers at him, "You attacked us." "B-b-but...", Tsukune stutters in confusion, "I-I-I don't... Remeber attackin y'all." "You were filled with some kind of dark Ki. The same kind that Kuyou was filled with.", Uub informs his fellow human, "So it's not yur fault." The silver haired Vampire was fuming as she growls, "Where's my rosary?" Tsukune digs through his pockets and suddenly a sense of dread consumes him.
"Oh no." "Oh no what?", Moka questions mockingly as her fury builds. A sheepish grin appears on the dark haired teen's face as he shakily tells her, "I don't have it." Moka snarls enraged as she growls, "I know!" Tsukune sceams in mortal terror as he cowers in fear, "Don't hurt me!" Moka lets out a feral scream as she begins to strangle the helpless teen. He's gagging as Uub shoves the two of them apart and shouts, "Enough!" He turns towards the Vampire and calmly tells her, "We can find it later." The mohawked teen huffs in annoyance as he asks Tsukune, "How are you feeling?" A crooked grin as he says, "I feel like a MAC truck just ran my head over repeatedly with extreme prejudice." The bus pulls out of the tunnel and the driver tells them all, "Here we are, the human world."
The group depart from the bus and it pulls off. Uub pulls out a small pouch and gives his fellow human a Senzu Bean. "I'll carry Moka and Tsukune.", he commands as he cracks his neck, "Kurumu, you carry Moka and follow me." Once everyone got situated the group took to the skies. Moka growled in annoyance as she was thrown over the Earthling's shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Kurumu huffs as she tells the Witch, "I won't drop you." Yukari shoots a mischevious glare at her comrade, but says nothing else. The duo follow Uub's group for some time, marveling at the landscape as they flew over oceans, breezed over mountains, and enjoyed the warm sunlight. The group eventually reach a gigantic tower that pierces the heavens and Uub flies straight up and Kurumu winds up in pursuit.
After a bit of ascending they reach the tower's peak. Uub was talking to a short fat man with a sword and a white cat with a staff. "Come on!", the magical human growls, "They've already flew up here!" He waves to the cat, "Thanks Korin!" The cat scratches the back of his head as he replies, "You're welcome!" Everyone flies higher to a massive structure floating in the sky. Everyone but Uub was shocked at the appearance of the palace in the sky. "This is Kami's Lookout!", the mohawked teen shouts loudly. Kurumu has a sense of dread, but tshe spots her Literature teacher. "Gohan!", the Succubus roars as she dives towards the dark haired man at high speeds, dropping Yukari. The Witch screams loudly as she falls several stories until Uub catches her by her cape, "Gotcha!" They flew back up to see Kurumu glaring at him, "We need to talk."
Gohan sighs as he tells everyone, "Dad's about to go talk to King Yemma, only time will tell if he's successful." Uub growls in rage as he shouts, "Well let's go find Broly!" Gohan's eyes widen in shock as he roars, "We're not going!" Uub yells to everyone, "Link arms and hold on as tight as you can." The students oblige as Uub is consumed by a flaming blue aura and he flies towards the palace's entrance. Gohan flies after them and is hit in the face by both Uub's blazer and a golden tub. The halfling shouts in a panic, "You can't go!" "Why not!", the Earthling shoots back, "We're his friends!" "It's not up to you!", their teachers screams as he dashes towards them, "Even though I want you all to go you can't!"
Kurumu was clenching Moka and Yukari like her life depended on it, but Broly's did. She lets out a cry of fear before her resolve steels. "We should go!", the blue haired student shouts, "We can attest to how much good he's done!" Gohan frowns before he snarls, "I'm sorry, but the answer is no!" Kurumu cries in frusteration as Uub yells, "Goku!" "Uub?", another figure, clad in an orange and blue outfit, asks, "What are you doing here?" Laying on the ground was Broly himself. Kurumu lets go of her fellow students to crouch beside the reborn warrior. She cries out in fear as she takes in his unconscious form, terror running in her veins. The seductress tunes out everyone else as she places the reborn Saiyan's head in her lap. When she finally looks up everyone else was gone. Kurumu begins to hum a tune that her mother used to sing for her, "Back when you first came into my life, I recalled a place that I knew as a child. A special place, one that I held close to my heart." Tears begin to slowly trickle down her face as she sings softly to her Destined One. 'Wake up soon Broly. Please, for me.'
Gohan was suprised by the latest turn of events, but it doesn't matter. It's not like they were fighting some King of Darkness or anything like that. The group were all standing before a large desk, seated at it was King Yemma. "King Yemma!", Goku cries worriedly, "Why are you going back on our deal?" A small frown as he says, "All that he's done is kill. I don't see him helping to save the world." Goku sighs in exasperation as he yells, "But there hasn't been a threat!" The King sighs as he counts off on his fingers, "Beerus, Frieza, Hirudegarn." A low sigh as he says, "Face it Goku, he's beyond help." An assistant ran forwards as he shouted, "King Yemma, it's happening again!" "What is?" "The souls have been released!" "Didn't we fire that guy?", King Yemma sighs in annoyance as he massages his temples.
"No sir.", the assistant says in a panic, "You docked his pay for a month." Goku smiles excitedly as he yells, "Broly can help!" King Yemma lookks out of the door and, sure enough, everyone was sealed in just like last time. "Okay.", King Yemma sighs as he stamps his paperwork, "Very well." Goku fells a surge of pride as Broly was given another chance.
"Bit by bit, I'm falling under your charm. You'll keep me and all the world far from harm." The Succubus sung sadly to her unconscious audience. He didn't move at all, and several times he stopped breathing. but no... He's coughing loudly, hacking on nothing. She's astonished to see that her Destined One was awakening. Broly looks confused as he stands up slowly. A figure runs inside, completely green minus pink patches. "Janemba has been released!" Broly walks up to the Guardian and asks him, "Where?" "He's coming!" Bit by bit a purple and orange colored figure stood before them. "Let's go.", Broly growls in anger.
