Chapter 10: Getting Ready!
The eighth month arrived with Ash being on bed rest for the rest of his pregnancy after everything that happened last month.
Giovanni and the boy's friends kept him company and talked about how everything was going to play out next month as well as what to buy for the baby.
Giovanni sent out a few minions in disguise to retrieve the items that they needed for the baby.
While this was happening, no one noticed how Dr. Klay was watching them intently with his plan ready.
(With Dr. Klay)
He double-checked to make sure everything was in place before he put his plan into fruition.
"Everything is set. I wonder how Giovanni will feel when he knows that everything he has worked for has come to an end." said Dr. Klay as he starts his plan.
He pressed a button that caused a smokescreen to be emitted in Ash's room and he disappeared from his lab in an instant.
(Back With The Others)
They were surprised by the sudden smokescreen and began coughing before seeing a figure in the smokescreen.
They tried to look at the figure, but they quickly moved before hearing a short yell coming from the bed.
They all looked to find Dr. Klay with a knife at Ash's throat and stomach after the smokescreen cleared.
"Dr. Klay, what do you think you're doing?!" asked Giovanni angrily.
"I am going to kill him and the baby as well as you so that I can rule over Team Rocket. You have become too soft and weak since this boy has entered your life and now the throne will go to someone that won't be brought down by the material things in life." replied Dr. Klay, glaring at Giovanni before looking down at the chocolate-eyed teen.
Giovanni knew that if he didn't do anything immediately that both Ash and the baby would die as well as himself too.
He looked around the room before he found something that might help him out.
He grabbed the object and hurled it at Dr. Klay's stomach, causing the man to drop the knives and fall to the ground.
The others didn't know what happened until they saw a scalpel in the scientist's stomach and grunts hurrying into the room when they heard everything going on.
"Grunts, patch him up and throw him into a cell. Dr. Klay, you will be spared until Ash gives birth, but once the baby arrives, you are a dead man." said Giovanni as he checked Ash over.
Dr. Klay couldn't reply as he was in too much pain and being dragged out by the grunts quickly.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they found that both Ash and the baby was alright.
