SANJI POV

We were awoken by the sounds of birds chirping and the thin rays of light penetrating the blinds. I have no idea how or when we had made it to the bed. Between the car, the bar, the argument and the counter top..."oh the counter top," I thought to myself. I walked out to the kitchen after stretching and putting some pants on. On my way, I grabbed the paper towels and some bleach to sanitize the counter with. Once that task was finished I grabbed some bacon, eggs and ingredients for pancakes.

"That should do," I stated out loud to no one in particular.

I started by cooking the bacon when I noticed that there was someone standing behind me. I turn around to banish him from the kitchen but my mouth goes dry at the sight. His perfectly sculpted abs tapering off into a V between his hips. He was wearing a pair of dark green silk pajama bottoms that hung precariously off of his hips. Zoro's face was cracked in in a wide smile causing a blush to creep up my face and my mouth salivate. Clearly, the bacon is forgotten as Zoro approaches me for a deep passionate kiss.

"Morning cook"

"Morning moss head," I said breathless.

I sigh deeply as I am enveloped in his warmth and musky scent. We are broken from our romantic moment by the shrill screech of the smoke alarm. I whip around as fast as I can to see the bacon pan up in flames. Zoro rushes for the fire extinguisher and I rush to the cabinet to grab the lid. I slam the lid down at the same time that Zoro unleashes the extinguisher, hitting me square in the face. After realizing what had happened and verifying that fire was out, we laughed. Our giggle fit was quickly interrupted by the sound of Zoro's phone ringing from the other room. We each took a deep breath and he went to answer the phone while I cleaned the strange foam off myself.

"Hello?"

"Swordman-san?" Robin's voice was unmistakable, "Ihave something I would like to show cook-san,"

Before I could hear the rest of the conversation, Zoro switched speaker phone off. I notice Zoro occasionally nod his head and mumble something in agreement. It is very frustrating only being able to hear half of a conversation. He turns to face me and I notice that he is a little paler than he was moments before.

"Are you sure? Did everyone clear you?" Now I was intrigued.

"I'll let him know, and thanks Robin."

Zoro hung up the phone and looked at me, "put your shoes on, we're going to see Robin."

ZORO POV

The ride to the hospital was spent in silence. Sanji has no idea that I actually know what Robin's call was about but was sworn to secrecy. I also did not want to get his hopes up in the event that something tragic was to happen again. We park the car and walk in, the stinging smell of bleach permeates the air.

"Excuse me," I give the nurse behind the counter one of my signature grins "where would I find Nico Robin's room?"

The nurse blushes and I feel daggers coming from the man standing behind me. If only he knew how much of my heart he already had. The nurse digs through some paperwork before she finds a sticky note.

"Right this way please," she walks out from behind the desk and leads us down the hall. We make a right, a left and then down a few more halls. God forbid anyone gets lost in here.

SANJI POV

The distinct smells of hospitals usually trigger headaches. I had hoped that Zoro and I would never have to return here so it must be something very important. My heart is racing in anticipation as we wind down the halls to the imaging department. We are ushered to some chairs and then nurse hands the sticky note off and is gone around the corner. 'Guess Zoro and I will have to find our own way out,' I think to myself. My thoughts are soon consumed by Robin and what we are doing here until the moment we are finally called back by another nurse. This one is a large woman with a very hard to understand accent. She begins to lead us to a room with the lights dimmed and relative silence. I interlace my fingers with Zoro's out of sheer nervousness. I look at him and he gives me knowing smile as we enter the Robin is in. She is laid out on a bed, her lower half covered by a blanket and a machine sitting next to her.

"Thank you for coming Sanji, Zoro." Robin says our names quietly, in a soothing way, our names sounding foreign on her tongue. Robin pats the empty space on the side of the bed and motions to me.

"Won't you sit Sanji-san?" I sit on the bed next to her and the nurse places a set of headphones on my ears. At this point I am thoroughly confused as to what is going on. I glance up at Zoro who is still holding my hand and he gives me a small, reassuring smile. I see the nurse open a tube of some gel and ahe pulls the blanket lower, revealing Robin's belly. She places the gel on her stomach and then the extension that looks almost like a wand. I close my eyes and take a deep breath wondering what the nurse was going to find. Then, I heard it. Thump, thump. Thump, thump. My eyes fly open and I am now full on staring at Zoro, my eyes glazing over

"How?" I choke out despite being overwhelmed in emotion and having a dry throat.

"It's kind of a long story Sanji. We know that there was enough left over after the first time and the doctor only needed to harvest an egg from Robin. We also know that right now is a very delicate time for Robin and the baby so we did not want to sat anything in the event something happened again." Zoro explained. So the bastard knew! That's what the phone call was!

"I have an appointment with Doctor-san next week to discuss any potential complications and what to do to make this one last until term." Robin stated as she got up from the bed and pulled her pants up. Once the gel was cleaned off and she was decent, we left the hospital together with our heads held high, eagerly awaiting Robin's appointment with Copper.
