He saw. Slowly walked up to them. They all slowly walked away, together. Not a word said. The girl he was with, staring, open-mouthed, stayed behind. They walked out of the mall, up to a gold van. All climbed in, then they drove away, in silence.

They arrived at a clearing in a forest, still silent. Then he couldn't help it anymore.

"Max, Angel, Iggy, Gazzy, Nudge. It's you."

They all slowly nodded. Then they broke down. Sobs mingled with names and tears.

"Angel."

"Max."

"Iggy."

"Gazzy."

"Nudge."

"Fang."

More silence. Unbearable, heavy, break it. Someone, anyone. Just do it. Please. This silence is too heavy. It's laden with tears, memories, mistakes, and love. Someone break the dam. It has to be done.

Then someone did.

"Wow."

That's all that was said. But it captured everything. They were whole, but still missing pieces. The whole picture was visible, but there was still the few pieces that don't matter. But it's not the same without them. The wings, the rest of the powers, and the reason. They still had no reason why, but it really didn't matter. They were together. They still felt like they belonged in the sky, floating on the air currents. But they were. They were soaring on wings of pure joy and love. And that was all that really mattered to them.

AN: And there is the end. I didn't get as many chapters as I thought, but oh well.
