AN:Loving these reviews guys, like really. How's my first story going? Tell me any critisim, I need it to be a better writer. Sorry guys! My laptop broke, as you know, and then I went to my Dad's for three weeks and he lives in the country. With NO service! I'm so sorry! Hate me, I don't blame you, but try to still like the story...

Callie

My breathing becomes rapid. I shake as I stand up tall and take a good look at myself in the mirror. I don't look any diffrent and this is only the first time I've thrown up. I might just be late. Yeah. I shake my head in the mirror and feel my confidence rising. Walking out the bathroom to my room, I think about the last time Brandon and I have had sex. After the fake pregnancy annoucement mom's keep a hawk's eye on us. Mom is worse than Lena. Constantly following us around the house and making it look innocent.

I grab my phone off the nightstand and sit on the bed. Dialing Brandon's number, I still think about our last sexcapde.

" 's Brandon-" Answering machine. I hang up and slowly let the phone fall from my hand. Last month. Neither of us realized we were home alone, but when we figured it out we used it to our advantage. It was hot, fast, and passionate and a diffirent side of Brandon. I blush as the memory comes flashing back.

But it's possible.

I could be pregnant.

I run into Mariana's room. She's listening to One Direction again and I pause her music.

"What the hell, Callie?" I grab her hand and force her up. I grab her shoes and her purse and thrust them at her.

"Were leaving, now." I leave her room and get into my car. I watch Mariana come to the car struggling to catch up. Once she shuts the door, she gives me a funny look.

"Ok, what ghost did you see?" I start the car and try to let the soothing moment calm my nerves. It doesn't help very much.

I barley whisper. "I'm late." She raises a eyebrow.

"Late for what? I didn't know you were doing anything today." I breath hard.

"I'm two weeks late for my trip to the red sea." She frezzes and I knew that would get her. When we were younger and just starting to get our periods, we came up with that code phrase so Jude or Jesus didn't know what we were talking about. She doesn't say anything for a while and when I park the car she finally speaks.

"Holy shit..." She trails off. She looks at me and then at my stomach. I get squirmish and she finally looks back up at me.

"Why did you need me here?" I smile slightly and shrug.

"I don't know... moral support?" She nods and grabs my hand.

"Common." We make our way into the pharmacy and the slight chill brings goosebumps to my arms. There's not many people here and we make a brisk escape to the pregnancy test. When we get to the wall, we stop and gaze at the many test.

"There's so many." Mariana tells me. I give a pathetic nod and gulp. She reaches for two test once she realizes I'm not moving. She still holds onto my hand when we check out. The lady behind the counter gives her a funny look when she sees the items we have bought.

"It happens, deal with it." Mariana snaps at her. Despite my current sutiutation, I smile at 'Miss Thang's' attitude. When we get in the car, I stay silent and Mari keeps chanting something over and over again. When we get in our driveway, I finally speak.

"What are you saying?" She look at me and smiles.

"Everything is gonna be ok." I smile back at her and stuff the test into her large purse. We hear mom's in the kitchen when we arrive and we dart upstairs into the bathroom. I carefully take the tests out of the box and look at Mari.

"Your supposed to pee on them." She says. I roll my eyes.

"I know that...just...turn around." She snorts at me, but listens and I sit on the toliet.

Once I'm done she turns around and gives me this far off look. "You remember when we were younger and mom's made you make up a song to help me get rid of the monsters under my bed." I chuckle and think back.

"Yeah. You sang it every night, like it was a spell, and swore it worked." I laugh at when little Mariana would sit criss cross in front of her bed every night and chant.

We both sit and lean back aganist the wall. She claps her hands, like she did when she was little, and says, "Let the De-Monsters begin." I look at her strangly and she just gives me a big smile. "Common, help me."

"The mosters under your bed-" She begins.

"Sure won't get fed-" I help.

"When you sing the special monster songgg." I chuckle.

"Now for your bed to be free-"

"You have to sing we me-" We stand and look at eachother.

"And stomp your little, tiny feeeet!" We stomped around and broke into a fit of laughter. We both know we skipped like four verses, but neither of us really remembered the song. I haven't thought about that in so long, it made me forget what we were waiting on. Then her phone rung a bell and all fits of playfulness has left the room. We look at eachother and I wordlessly get up and grab the test.

Brandon's POV

When we get off the bus, I'm sure everyone is thrilled to have the two laughing idiots off the bus. The game was amazing and the Padres really kicked some ass. Jesus even caught a foul ball.

"Man, this was really fun." He tells me. I smile in agree. It was good to get out of that suffocating house. The mom's breath down my neck, espically Stef, whenever I'm around their daughter. Whenever we have to tell the truth is the day I'm dreading. They could kick me out if they don't believe we really like each other. Hell, I'm in love with Callie and I have still yet to tell her.

"You know-" I tell Jesus once we enter the house. "-you better watch out for that ball or I'm gonna take it." He challenges me with his eyes and runs into the kitchen. I want to follow him, but I end up going into Callie's room just to check on her. When she's not there, I go into Mariana's room and see them sitting across from each other on the floor. They looks up when they see me and a certain sadness clouds both of their eyes.

I bend down and kiss Callie's forhead. "Hey guys what's up?"

"We have to tell dad tonight." I freeze and look at Mariana. She frowns at Callie and I feel like there's more to it. Callie stands and faces me.

"And...and.." She struggles. I shush her and emabrace her in my arms.

"Whatever happens tonight, I just want you to know that... I love you." Her eyes shine bright and wide. She gives me a peck on the lips.

"And I love you too." I feel my heart leap in excitement. Then I think about the dinner.

"So we have to tell them it was fake then, don't we?"

Mariana opens her mouth, but is cut off by Stef's firm voice. "Kids! Come down for dinner!" I leave the room, hating every footstep I take towards the table. Once seated Callie sits next to me, Mariana across from her, Jesus across from me, Jude next to me, Lena across from Jude, and Stef and Mike at the head of the table. We all eat our salmon in silence. Callie's leg constantly starts bouncing and I put a hand on her knee to sooth her. When everyone is near done with their food, Stef speaks.

"So, Mike, how have you been lately?" She asks.

"Pretty good, yeah, I've been going to AA meetings every week. How is everyone here?" I table is silent for a beat. He looks at all of us and chuckles nervously.

"Okay, who died?" We stay quiet, until Stef clears her throat.

"Callie? Brandon?" All of the attention focused on us. I see Callie break into a llittle sweat and I rub my thumb over the back of her hand. We'll be alright.

I take a big breath of confidence and face the harsh light, "Well...Stef, Lena. Callie and I weren't telling you the truth." I tell them. There faces pale.

"Brandon? What do you..." Lena trails off. Callie grips my hand and I look at her. Her eyes are swimming with fear, but also another emotion I can't detect. I inhale again, "Callie's not really preg-"

"STOP!"
