"They don't like Gryffindors? Why not?" Ron couldn't believe anyone other than Slytherins not liking Gryffindors.

"The reason doesn't make sense, but for what I could understand, Hufflepuffs are supposed to stick together and not trust anyone else, they seem to think Gryffindors and Slytherins just want Hufflepuffs to be their followers".

"I have never heard of that before" it was true, Harry had never heard of it, he wasn't friends with a lot of Hufflepuffs but he didn't mind them at all, they were good friends.

Chapter 10
Immature

Ron's POV

Skull and snake
By: Gregory Lane

The sight of the strange mark of the so called Voldemort has been sighted
again in a muggle street above one not identified house, the only thing the
ministry has said until now is that the usual men in black and white masks
who call themselves Death Eaters had apparted into the street and killed
10 muggles and injured 3 Aurors that had gone to help this muggles;
only 3 muggles survived.

"They printed you-know-who's name." Ron said.

Ron could not believe what he had just read, not only people were obviously not afraid of Voldemort but they apparently didn't think he was a real threat, it was just reading the facts of what happened not the usual: You know who attacks! Run for your life we are all going to die! This is the end of the world crap, just stating what happened, this was a little weird for Ron.

"You-know-who? Who is you-know-who?" asked Frank Longbottom.

The Head boy, Frank Longbottom was sitting next to Kyle Seal listening to Ron read the paper out loud, looking bewildered at Ron, not one of the Gryffindor seventh year boys had ever heard something as ridiculous as a hyphened name. Why would someone not call anyone else but their name as if they were scared of it? They could just imagine Ron thinking that if he said whosever name was who he called "you-know-who" would appear in front of him and kill him.

Imagining this, the Head boy started to laugh, and the others couldn't help but laugh too after seeing Ron's face turned to a deep red.

"Vol-Voldemort is you-know-who he is supposed to be very powerful and people are afraid of him. He kills…" Barely in a whisper almost afraid of being heard Ron begin to explain who you-know-who was, but was interrupted when his laughing friends began laughing ever harder and louder if that was possible.

"Afraid of Voldemort? He is just a pureblood fanatic, he is not that powerful, and it's just a name don't be afraid of it." A girl with red hair and the most beautiful green eyes was standing in front of the red faced Ron and besides the other four seventh year boys who were currently crying in the floor laughing at his new friend's fear.

Ok, maybe Voldemort wasn't that powerful in this time, but then why would they come at this time if Voldemort was still a nobody? Wasn't this the year were Harry's grandparents were killed? Ron thought.

"What is your first class?" A beautiful girl with light brown hair, and hazel eyes was standing beside him with a blond girl with blue eyes asked.

"Um…Potions." Ron answered.

"I am sorry I didn't introduced myself, I am Alice Prewett and this is Jocelyn Richen, we are in seventh year and we are in Gryffindor as well, Jocelyn has Herbology right now but I have Potions. I will show you were the class is since I doubt the boys will be there on time." The girl with light brown hair told him, she was clearly the future Mrs. Longbottom.

Ron didn't really need to be shown the way, but it would be better to not be alone all day and Neville's mom seemed really nice, standing up and ready to follow her he glance to the boys and saw them with red faces and holding their stomachs while they still laughed, although it wasn't as hard or loud as before.

"Don't mind them Ron, they are good people, they just thought what you said was funny, no one is that scared of Voldemort as you are, he is killing but only muggles so magical people don't really pay much attention to him." Jocelyn told Ron.

Harry's POV

First class is Defense against the Dark Arts; at least it is with the Ravenclaws and not with the Gryffindors that would have been annoying. Harry thought.

Harry got to his class a couple of minutes early, clearly a lot of people passed their OWLS and wanted to take their NEWTS in almost all the classes since they were still separated to houses instead of everyone taking them together with only their house like in the future.

On the right side of the room were the Ravenclaws and on the left side were almost all the Slytherins, but they were clearly some of them still missing. He walked to the middle of the room and sat down in an empty table on the third row.

After two minutes everyone was there, on the left side of Harry sat a girl with black long hair and grey eyes and next to her a girl with black curly hair and dark blue eyes.

"This is your first class of your last year here in Hogwarts, next year you would be working, some of you in the ministry and some of you in independent businesses, maybe your own of maybe your families', this year will be the one that decides were you go, that is how much importance have your NEWTS, I don't intend all of you to become great duelers or know every spell there is available and to be able to cast them, but I do intend for you to finish this year learning something new and useful…" the professor started lecturing his class.

Professor Lylnel was a tall man with a haircut that looked like the ones the muggles who were in the military used, and had a large scar below his dark brown eyes.

The whole class was boring, they never got to take their wands out, and it was obvious the Professor thought not one person in the class could do a strong stupefy never less a Patronus, this class will be pointless if all they had done in the first class was listen to him tell stories about how he had fought dark wizards, and several dark magical creatures as well, he actually reminded Harry to Lockhart, he just was missing the annoying white smile and the millions of portraits of himself in the room.

Harry hadn't made a single friend in Slytherin, not that he wanted to be friends with future death eaters, but it still felt lonely to not have anyone to talk to, Slytherins were really pureblood fanatics, and since Harry said he was a half blood no one wanted to "lower" themselves and talk to him, not even the only other known half blood in the house, Severus Snape, even looked his way, he just ignored him which made Harry very uneasy, what was the reason he had lied to everyone else when asked about Harry's heritage. What did he want in return? It was impossible for him to believe he had just done that because he was a nice person, there had to be another reason.

He had read the daily prophet that morning, he had no idea people weren't that scared of Voldemort yet, but even if they weren't it didn't mean the purebloods did, he had overheard many of them talking about how they believed Voldemort was doing the right thing and how when they got out of school they wanted to help with the noble cause, especially the seventh years.

Ron's POV

The whole day had been boring for Gryffindors it had been potions with the Hufflepuffs and transfiguration with the Ravenclaws, for Slytherins it had been defense with the Ravenclaws, and herbology with the Hufflepuff, and obviously the Hufflepuffs had potions with the Gryffindors and herbology with the Slytherins.

It had been a long day for all the seventh years, all of their professors had made everyone afraid of this year telling them how this year would decide their futures, how everything in their lives depended on their NEWTS, it sounded a little too dramatic in Harry's opinion.

The day couldn't be over fast enough in Ron's opinion it hadn't been a good day. Frank had told the story about Ron being afraid of saying Voldemort and instead using a hyphened name to everyone that would hear it, of course adding a little here and there to the story such as "he was actually crying when one of us said Voldemort out loud" or "He jumped and almost wet himself when he told us who you-know-who was" which made people ask him what he was doing in Gryffindor.

The boys had apologized after classes had ended but it still made Ron think this was a really bad day. To top it all, he had not had a single class with the Slytherins meaning he hadn't seen his best mate all day, and only one class with Hermione who had been paying attention and silencing him the whole class while taking notes.

They just had to go and have dinner in the great hall and after that they could run straight to their rooms and not come out until next day at least that was Ron's plan.

In the middle of the feast a strong wind was felt and then everything was dark, no one could even see their hands if they put it in front of their faces, they certainly couldn't see the people who they were sure had been sitting besides or in front of them, footsteps could be heard but no one could see from where they were coming or where they were going.

People started screaming from everywhere to make someone turn the lights back on, but not even the Lumos charm was working to anyone, not even Dumbledore could make the spell or any other spell work. After maybe 10 minutes which seemed hours to all the students there was light again.

Nothing seemed out of place, everyone was still sitting in their House's table and the teachers were still sitting in the high table, but then it happened.

As if on cue, boom after boom could be heard coming from the Slytherin table and just like that all the boys were wearing long pink, yellow or light blue muggle dresses and long hair in ponytails while the girls were all wearing jeans and shirts that usually were only worn by muggle boys, and what really made the girls screamed, they now all had short spiky hair.

The Gryffindors were the first to start laughing but soon after the whole school was laughing at the Slytherins new look, to which for some reason not even the professors could remove.

"If you could please go back to your common rooms, I am sure the Slytherins new gifts will disappear in a couple of hours." Professor Dumbledore said after trying everything he could think of to remove the spell that had been performed on the Slytherins had made no changes to it realized the Slytherins would just have to wait for it to disappear.

"Mr. Potter, Mr. Black, Mr. Lupin and Mr. Pettigrew. You have detention every night for the next two weeks with Mr. Filch, and don't even try to tell me you are innocent." McGonagall told her four sixth year gryffindors.

McGonagall just walked away after telling the marauders how their scheduled would be changed for the next couple of weeks.

"Harry, you look so pretty." Ron told Harry.

Harry was now wearing a yellow dress that could have been easily seen on a five year old girl, of course this one was in Harry's size.

"It is not funny, Ron." Harry told his friend.

"Yes it is, you should see yourself in a mirror, wish I had a camera." Ron said between laughs.

Ron couldn't stop laughing; he had ran outside of the great hall after who he assumed was a female version of his best mate and had caught up to him (her?) in a deserted corridor leading to the dungeons. Hermione had run after both boys, or a girl and a boy?

"Ron, this is not funny. It is a little immature to have pranked the Slytherins just for the fun of it, of course me included." Harry told Ron.

Harry was now becoming irritated, annoyed at his friends reaction.

"Slytherins deserve it, Harry." Ron argued.

"I am a Slytherin remember? Do I deserve to be pranked just because of the house I was sorted into?" Harry asked Ron.

"You are not a Slytherin, you are a Gryffindor, and I don't know why the stupid hat put you in the snake's house." Ron answered.

"I am a Slytherin Ron; even in the future the hat had always wanted to put me in Slytherin." Harry told Ron.

"You were supposed to have been a Slytherin? How could you Harry!? You are supposed to be the one to kill Voldemort!" Ron told Harry.

"Just because I'm in Slytherin doesn't means I'm evil." Harry said.

"Yes it does, all Slytherins become evil." Ron said.

Now Ron was being irrational, and a little childish. Both boys were glaring at each other now.

"Stop it! You are both being immature! Not all Slytherins are evil, Ron." Hermione said.

Hermione now had her arms crossed and looked really angry at both boys' immature actions.

"Of course you would say that Hermione, you are a Hufflepuff now." Ron told Hermione.

Now that was a really stupid thing to say.

"Apologize to her Ron and to me for that matter, you are acting really stupid." Harry said.

"I don't have to apologize to neither of you, I really want to destroy Voldemort, not just study history while watching it like Hermione, and I am certainly not here to study the dark arts, which is what all Slytherins do." Ron told his friends.

"What were you trying to say when you said I was a Hufflepuff?" Hermione asked.

"Hufflepuffs are stupid Hermione, maybe they are starting to rub it on you, being really blind to what Harry is becoming, a Slytherin!" Ron answered Hermione.

"Kimberly was right! Gryffindors do really think they are better than everyone else." Hermione said.

Ron just glared at both girls? And turn away from both of them.

"Ron is just being a brat Harry, don't listen to him." Hermione told Harry after Ron left.

"I know that Hermione, but I didn't know he was still this immature" Harry said.

I am not really good at pranks but I hoped you liked it. If not please tell me some of your ideas so I can use them in the future.

I hope you liked this chapter, either if you did or if you didn't tell me what you think about it and what are some of your ideas or what you expect from the story, in other words please review :).
