Chapter 10: Missing

"It's Butch." Brick said. My heart stopped. All of the color in my face drained as he said those two words.

"What happened?! Where is he?!" I yelled.

"He was out playing soccer with some guys from school and I guess some guy with a huge cape came by and took him when no one was looking. I got a call from Dallas about it." He paused looking at me with sympathy. "They don't know where the figure took him." Brick sighed he had finally calmed down.

"Well we will just have to look for him. I'll call Momoko and Miyako and they will help." I noticed that Boomer wasn't in the room anymore. "Where's Boomer?"

"He went outside while we were talking. Probably went to the park across the street." Brick started to get his jacket and shoes on. "Okay, I

just texted Momoko and Miyako. They will meet us at the park." Brick nodded and we headed out to the park.

When we got there we saw Momoko and Miyako, but no sign of Boomer. We looked for a long time trying to find any sign of him or Butch, in the end all we found was Butch's phone and Boomer's pocket knife.

We all got back to Brick's house and sat on the sofa.

"I don't get what could have happened." Miyako said tears were starting to form in her eyes. "They were here one moment and then gone the next."

"I don't know Miyako. Maybe we could talk to the Professor and he could have an idea on where they could be." Momoko stated. She was leaning against Brick and hugging him for dear life. She turned to look up at him, "If you find anything else let us know and please be careful when you go out."

"I will don't worry." Brick reassured his girlfriend and kissed her on top of the head.

"Okay well I think we are going to go it's getting pretty late. Momoko, Kaoru, you guys can stay at my place since it's close to here. Brick, have you notified the police?" Miyako asked getting up from the couch.

"I called about Butch and I'm going to call in a minute about Boomer. My dad also knows about it and he said that he will be home from his business trip by tomorrow to help."

"Wait your dad is on a business trip?! Since When? We just saw him a few days ago." I exclaimed standing up.

Brick looked up at me, "Since yesterday. He's supposed to be in Maine for a week, but because of this he caught the quickest flight home."

"Well I'm glad he can get here soon. He could help a lot." Momoko said. "We're going to head off. If you need anything just call. We are only a few doors down and wait for us on the street corner tomorrow so we can all walk to school together." Brick nodded and kissed Momoko goodbye.

We walked in silence to Miyako's house said hi to her grandmother and went into Miyako's room. Momoko and I contacted our parents saying that we will be at Miyako's for the night. Not much was said due to the fact that we were all worried about the boys. We decided that we would tell the professor after school tomorrow and we went to bed.

The next morning we woke up and got ready for school. I thanked God that I had clothes at Miyako's so I didn't have to wear any or her girly outfits. Her grandmother made us breakfast and we headed out the door to meet Brick at the street corner. When we got there we saw no sign of Brick. Brick's wallet was laying open on the concrete and there was no money left in it, instead there was a note. Momoko picked up the wallet and note and read the note aloud.

"Dear Powerpuff Girls Z, if you want to see your precious boyfriends again then you have to meet me at this address on Saturday and bring the chemical Z to me. If you don't follow these orders then your boyfriend ms will pay the price." All of our mouths just dropped. We forgot all about going to school and ran straight to the Professor's lab. We told him and Ken everything that was going on and he was running a DNA test to see who wrote the letter.

"Well girls the person who wrote this letter is Mojo Jojo." Ken simply stated.

"But how does he know who we actually are? Why does he want the Chemical Z?" I said.

"Well somehow he was able to figure out who the Powerpuff Girls Z are and I don't know why he would want Chemical Z." The Professor said.

"Well then what are we going to do? We can't give him the Chemical Z but we need the boys back." Momoko asked.

"Well why don't we trick him into thinking that we have the Chemical Z and capture him before he can do anything." Miyako suggested.

"That could work, but it's also really risky." The Porfessor replied.

"Well right now that's the only choice we really have." I stated. We agreed on the plan and how we would go about it. Now all we had to do was wait until tomorrow.
