Italics mean it's Russian
Adrian POV
I looked down at the address in my hand, then looked up at the house in front of me. Dmitri told me these people were nice, but he wouldn't tell me how he knew them, or how they lived exactly. Hell, he wouldn't even tell me if they spoke English or not, but he did make me lean some Russian. So I had no idea what I was about to walk into. I knocked on the door tentatively. A young girl, about 15 answered the door.
"Hello, Can I help you with something?"She said. I assumed it was Russian, because I recognized two words: Hello, and help. The Russian ass, Dimitri, only taught me one phrase in Russian.
"I'm not good in Russian, do you speak English?" The girl smile and spoke again, this time in English.
"Sorry, Can I help you with something?"
"Yes, my name is Adrian Ivaskov. I was sent here by Dimitri Belikov, he was hoping you could help me." I held out the letter Dimitri told me to give to whoever opens the door, "Here, he said this was for you." The girl grabbed it and ripped it open. Her face transformed from the skeptical look, she had been giving me, to happiness in a matter of seconds. My curiosity was killing me I that moment. Finally she looked up from the paper, and held out her hand for me to shake.
"Hello, Adrian, my name's Victoria belikov, Dimitri's sister, please come in!"
Sydney POV
As I walked up to the door my nerves got stronger. I am just driving myself crazy, that's all. He's my best friend he wouldn't turn me away, would he. The door opened with a guy about 19, my age, with dark hair and blue eyes. Definitely not Ivan.
"Is Ivan Zelkos here" I said getting right to the point.
"Who's asking?" the guy said.
"I am" I said. Before this idiot at the door could speak again someone interrupted him from behind.
"Sydney?" I tried to looked past the man at the door, but he wouldn't budge. Him being about a foot taller, than me, with broad shoulders didn't help either.
"Will you tell this idiot to move, so we can talk, please Ivan, I know I messed up bad this time."
"Trey, get out of her way" Ivan said from behind the blue-eyed man. Trey only chuckled, and said,
"Awww, but I'm having so much fun with goldilocks!" I snarled at him.
"Ok, but just know, she might rip your head off" Ivan said, I could hear the smirk in his voice. He has learned not to mess with me when I'm in a mood. Trey spoke again,
"Fine, but she has to ask nicely first!" I snarled again.
"Please, Trey, move out of my way" I said throwing on the nicest fake smile I could muster. Blue-eyes stood there for moment, before he swept into a dramatic bow, to let me in.
"Right this way Blondie" he said. I rolled my eyes, but walked under the threshold.
Adrian POV
I fowled the girl deeper in the house. I was still trying to wrap my head round the fact that Dimitri had a sister when we entered a kitchen. There were 3 woman and two children. The oldest woman was cooking what looked like pancakes, only thinner and a different color.
"Mamma, read this" Victoria handed the woman who was cooking Dimitri's letter. The woman looked up at me smiling, as she handed the letter off to one of the other women.
"Adrian right?" she asked, "Yes ma'am" I said. Saying I was uncomfortable would be an understatement.
"I'm Olena, these are my daughters Sonja, and Karoline, Also Karoline's children Paul and Zoya" The woman gestured to everyone else in the room. They all spoke hello at the same time. Each woman also had tears in their eyes.
"Hello" I muttered back. Olean smile warmly at me.
"Why, don't you join us for breakfast, and then I'll get you settled in." She said. I nodded and sat down at the table.
