I do not own Vampire Academy or The Vampire Diaries. But I wished I owned Dimitri or Kol - but we take what we can.

Chapter 10

When I walked back into the house later on I heard arguing.

"Get out," I heard a woman say.

"Jenna," I heard a male voice say. "Jenna." I knew that voice. It was the guy that Klaus was using as a body. I ran into the hall to see a woman, Jenna I'm guessing, holding a crossbow.

"Get out," she said again.

"Jenna," the Klaus invaded body said. By this time everyone had also come into the hall and Elijah stood next to me. "Put the crossbow down. It's me."

"What's going on?" Elena asked.

"I swear it's me Elena. Klaus let me go."

"Prove it," Damon demanded.

"Okay." He looked like he was thinking before looking at Jenna. "The first night you and I spent together, Jeremy walked in-"

"It's him," Jenna interrupted him fast.

"Why did he let you go?" Stefan asked.

"He wanted me to deliver a message." Alaric looked towards where Elijah and I were standing. "The sacrifice happens tonight."

We were all scattered around the lounge room again.

"So you don't remember anything?" Stefan asked Alaric.

"No," Alaric said. "It's like I blacked out and woke up three days later. Katherine was there."

"She's under compulsion," I said. "She can't leave until Klaus tells her to."

"But Damon slipped her a little bit of Vervain," Stefan said.

I rolled my eyes at how naïve someone could be. But I didn't say a word.

"Where's Damon?" Elena asked.

"I saw him go upstairs," Jenna said.

Elena got up and went upstairs.

Alaric looked at all of us again. "So what else did I do?"

Jenna slumped back into the lounge she was sitting on and I chuckled. He looked at me with one eyebrow raised.

"Do you really want to know?" I asked before leaving the room looking for a drink.
