Together again

Once Callie has taken a couple of puffs from her inhaler and her breathing as almost calmed down nearly returning to normal. "Much better…You need to work on not getting all upset, this can't be good for your lungs. We will work this out" Stef says as she brushes Callie's hair from her face.

Lena who still has her arms around Callie says "Okay, here is what is going to happen. You, my friend, are going to go wash your face while I go find clean PJs from the laundry. Mom is going to go order Pizza and rally the troops for dinner. I happen to know that there some people really wanting to see you. We will talk about this later but first I think meds, food and some love from your family are in order. We are so glad you are back Baby" She gives Callie a kiss to the side of her head.

Once Lena has found Callie clothes she leaves the bathroom to give Callie some privacy. The door is left cracked so that she can hear Callie if she needs anything. She can't help but smile when she sees the look on Stef's face as she walks into the hallway. Wrapping her wife into a hug Stef only smirks at Lena's smile.

"Don't be mad Baby, she is just like you… stubborn." Lena teases in a hushed tone.

Stef knows she can't really deny it so she changes the subject. "I'm worried, did you hear her breathing? And her getting that upset over us questioning her, Callie never shows that much emotion."

"Baby, we will watch her closely for a little while. She is talking to us which I agree with you she should have before she filed for emanapation but it is obviously something that she felt..." Lena trails off before she could finish her thought because Callie was coming out of the bathroom.

Both Moms smile at Callie who keeps her eyes on the ground, Lena reaches out guiding her reluctantly into a hug between her and Stef. It takes Callie a few minutes to relax into the hug and hesitantly places her head on Stefs shoulder taking comfort from the safety she felt when she was in her Moms' arms. None of them want to break up the hug; it was the first time that they had truly relaxed since the knock on the door late Friday evening.

After a few moments Stef looks up and notices Jude and Marianna waiting outside the girls' room barley controlling their excitement. When she turns she notices Brandon peeping out of his room with a question looked on his face. A little further down Jesus is bouncing from foot to foot trying to wait from them to break apart. So as much as she wants to keep a hold of her daughter and her wife she knows that the kids also need to have their Callie moment, smiling she loosens her hug a little for Lena to put some space between them.

Stef turns Callie in her arms bringing her attention to her siblings. Callie shyly smiles at everyone, not meeting anyone's eye embarrassed about being caught being so needy. When she glances up and meets Jude's eyes, she can't help the tears fill her eyes. Callie breaks out into a huge smile, Jude can't control himself anymore and runs toward Callie. He is so excited that Stef is thankful she can brace them against the wall when he slams into them hugging Callie with all his strength trying to convene all his love for her.

Callie took in a sharp breath when Jude's arm wraps around her hitting the burns on her back, she recoveries quickly ignoring the pain and hugs him back.

"Easy Buddy, loosen up a little please she is still fragile" Stef says when she felt Callie stiffen up in pain. Jude looks up scared that he had hurt her and let's go of her but Callie keeps her arms wrapped around him kissing the top of his head.

"I'm ok…I missed you so much…I love you" Callie whispers into the top of his head where she rests her check for a moment

"I missed you to" Jude whispers "Love ya"

"Hey Girl, I am so glad you are back" Marianna says has she is next in line, she goes to the side giving Jude his room but also able to gently giving Callie a half hug

"Come on Mari quit hogging her" Jesus who can't stand it anymore, he slows his approach by a look Stef gives him reminding him to be careful. He settles for a soft kiss to Callie's forehead, mostly hugging Stef "Hey Cals."

Brandon is right behind Jesus and engulfs Lena back into the Family hug. Callie gives a quick nod to the question on Brandon face. She was ok and happy to be home. Everyone is lost in the moment. The Moms share a look with tears in both their eyes, they was together again as their Family.

The moment is broken up when Jesus stomach growls and the door bell rings at almost the same time.

"Good pizza is here, I am starved" Jesus says breaking away giving the others no choice to but to untangle themselves from each other. Everyone heads down stairs to the kitchen for pizza with smiles on their faces.

Except Stef who feels the need to take an extra moment with Callie, she brings her back into her chest. Callie doesn't even think about it and drops her head back down on Stef's shoulder turning into the hug fully returning it.

'My Sweet, Sweet girl" Stef whispers into Callie's ear. Callie doesn't trust her voice, so she doesn't say anything but squeezes Stef tighter as she snuggles down into Stef.

They make it through dinner in very typical Adams Foster style, everyone trying to keep the discussion going but stealing glances at Callie. She and Jude are sitting so close that their knees are touching. Everyone happily eats their dinner but it didn't go unnoticed that all the kids hanged out at the table a little longer waiting on Callie to be finished with hers.

Callie actually ate very little dinner, mostly she moved it around on her plate, ripping the pizza to small pieces. No matter how hard she tried it just didn't taste right to her. But she couldn't seem to get enough to drink, she had two glasses of water and a juice pouch.

"Do you want something else?" Lena asks in a concerned voice

"No, thank you." Callie replies. The Moms have a discussion with the looks between them and it is decided to let it drop, they have to choose their battles. She had drunk plenty of liquid so she wasn't going to be dehydrated, which the doctor had warned them to be on the look at for.

"Okay, everyone got their homework done?" Lena asks the older kids nod their heads but Jude is hesitant to answer because he still has his Math to do but he doesn't want to leave Callie. Lena can read Judes face and decides to make the choice for him. "Buddy, why don't you go get your book while we clean up and then meet us in the living room?" Jude nods his head but doesn't move.

Callie chuckles and then ruffles his hair saying "Go, I'll meet you in there."

As the Moms start cleaning up the dinner table, Callie stiffly walks and takes her plate and puts in the dishwasher. Afterwards she slowly moves to leave, shes almost to the door when Stefs voice stops her. "Where do you think you are going?"

"Lazy chair?" Callie says confused as to why she was being stopped.

"Sweets, I know you're not going to like this, but, I think I need you to be my shadow for a little while." Stef holds up a finger to hold off the argument she knows that Callie is about to unleash "It's just for a couple of days."

Lena chimes in "The doctor said we needed to watch you very carefully for the next few days."

Callie just gives them a stubborn look. The truth was that Callie wanted to be with The Moms she just didn't like to be told she had to be with them. The moms could read the emotion in her eyes.

"Oh, come on, it's not going to be that bad." Stef says as she wraps her arm around Callie. In a staged voice she continues "It will be just us tomorrow and I happen to know where all the good food is stashed." This earns Stef a look from Lena, who can't do anything but smile and shake her head at her wife. Callie smirks a little bit but is not ready to be fully okay with being shadowed.
