Wow. Okay, I feel awful for not updating this sooner. I haven't exactly had the time to actually go back on this site and work on it. Especially since I'm always busy with youtube. I tried to work on an uploading schedule to upload 1 video everyday, but it's taking me a while to get use to it. And now, I'm not sure how I am going to keep up with my fanfics. Anyone got suggestions?

Aria vs. The Three Striaton Gym Leaders!
Episode 5: Part 2

"Now is the time for you to select your battle opponent." Cilan told the two siblings.

"We're choosing!?" Ash said surprised.

"That's correct." He points at himself. "Me, or Chili, or Cress. You can battle anyone of us. Our rules state that you're victorious against the one you choose, then you will earn the Trio Badge."

Chili took out a Poke Ball. "Time to meet our Pokemon!"

The three gym leaders called out their Pokemon and the two turn around to see three similar Pokemon standing before them. But they were all different.

"What are they?" Ash wondered aloud, taking out his Pokedex.

"Pansear, the High Temp Pokémon. Pansear lives in caves near volcanoes. The temperature on the tuft on its head can reach 600 degrees when it's angry."

"Pansage, the Grass Monkey Pokémon. Pansage offers leaves on its head to Pokémon that have low energy. The leaves relieve stress."

"Panpour, the Spray Pokémon. Panpour lived in forests long ago, but developed a body that makes it easy to live near water. It can store water in the tufts on its head."

"There's Pansear a fire type, Pansage as a grass type, and finally Panpour which is a water type. Any one of them would be a great opponent." Ash said. "I can't make up my mind. That's it, I want to battle all of you!"

The gym leaders were shocked, even Aria was surprised herself. Iris who stood up in the audience, wasn't sure if she was hearing what Ash's said was correct.

"Does Ash mean all three!?" She exclaims.

"That sounds like him." Steven points out.

"This is my first gym battle since we got to the Unova Region. I want to battle as many new Pokemon as I can. So please say yes." Ash asks, bowing his head down with his eyes shut.

"Well, well, well now. We've never ever met a trainer quite like you before." Cilan glances over at Chili. "What do we do?"

"Ash certainly has an interesting idea. I for one don't have any problems with it." He said.

"Then I suggest we come up with a brand new rule stating that two wins at our gym will earn Ash a Striaton Gym Badge." Cress suggests. Cilan nods.

"So how does that sound to you?" He asks.

Ash looks back up at them with a grin.

"Great, thanks so much for the chance."

Cilan glances over at Ash's older sister. "What about you Aria? Do you want to take part in this too?"

Aria chuckled. "Well, if Ash is doing it, then I'm doing it. Sounds like a plan."

"Alright then, but first, can we battle with you before Ash?" Cress asks. "If that's alright with the both of you."

"I'm okay with it." Ash responses.

"As am I." Aria adds in. "But we have a small problem."

"Hmm? What is it?" Cilian asks.

"The thing is, I only have two Pokemon with me currently." Aria said with a small frown.

"Not anymore." Steven said approaching her. Aria looked at him and he placed a Poke Ball in her hand. "This one couldn't wait to see you, so I brought it along."

"How did you..." She noticed him smile.

"Professor Oak gave it to me so that I could give it to you. Trust me, use it in battle." He told her.

Aria nods, holding the Poke Ball in her right hand. Then she turned to the Gym Leaders.

"Alright, I'm ready to battle." She said.

The triplet Gym Leaders nod.

"You'll be battling me first!" Chili said with a thumbs up.

"I can't wait." Aria said with a smile.

"Attention, for our first battle for today at the Striaton Gym is Aria Ketchum the challenger, and Chili the gym leader! Only one Pokemon each, and when either side is unable to battle the match is over."

Aria could hear the cheerleaders cheering on Chili, which made her wonder if that was giving him the encouragement in battle.

"Battle begin!"

"Go Lillipup!" Aria brought out her newest member. The Puppy Pokemon barked and stood proud.

"That's a new one." Steven pointed out. He looks over at her younger brother. "I suppose she recently caught it too."

Ash nods. "That's right. She's been practicing all night last night with her two Pokemon."

"It explains why her eyes look so red." Steven sighed. Then he murmurs. "You two are so much alike."

Ash looked confused. "What?"

"Oh nothing."

Chili smirks proudly. "I'll make the first move! Pansear use Fire Punch!"

Pansear's hand covered with flames as it ran forward towards Lillipup. The Puppy Pokemon stood in defense, ready to attack.

"Lillipup, charge forward!" Aria told it. Lillipup barked and obeyed her command. The two were heading towards each other and Aria quickly reacted. "Now jump!" Lillipup jumps into the air and pushed Pansear's head into the ground, causing it to trip over.

"Like that's going to stop us! Pansear use Flamethrower!" Chili grins.

Aria smirks. "Do it! Double Team!"

Lillipup quickly divided into multiple versions of itself just as the Flamethrower contacted with a fake one. Pansear look completely surprised when it was surrounded by multiple versions of the pup.

"Hit all of them with Flamethrower!" Chili told Pansear.

Pansear opens its mouth and fires it at all of them. Once all of them were gone, there was only one left.

"Found you!" Chili declared.

"Lillipup use Bite!" Aria said quickly.

Lillipup runs at Pansear and bites onto it, dealing some damage. Pansear cried out, trying to get its arm free.

"Pansear, use Flamethrower!" Chili commands.

Pansear looks over and fires the flames. Lilipup cries out and skids across the ground.

"Lilipup!" Aria cried, noticing that Lilipup couldn't stand up.

"Lilipup is unable to battle! And Chili is the winner!" Cilian announces.

"She already lost." Ash said sadly.

"She's still got two more battles." Steven points out. "She'll get through it. I know it."

The next battle started a few minutes later with Cress as her next opponent. She could tell by the look in his eye that he was going to be tough to beat. But she had an idea in mind of how she could win if she could do it right.

"Battle begin!"

"Hitmontop use Rapid Spin!" Aria told her Pokemon.

Hitmontop spins on the top of his head and heads towards Panpour.

"Aim at Hitmontop's head with Water Gun!" Cress cried.

Panpour fires the beam of water and it hits where it was told to. Hitmontop falls over and falls onto one of the rocks.

"Get up Hitmontop!" Aria exclaims. Hitmontop gets up right away, but had a few scratches on its body. "Great! Now go for Quick Attack!"

Hitmontop ran fast towards Panpour.

"Dodge." Cress said calmly for an odd reason.

Panpour jumps out of the way and Hitmontop misses.

"Now use Scratch."

Panpour scratches at Hitmontop's back, growing more direct damage.

"Rolling Kick!"

Hitmontop gained its balance back and kicks Panpour's back.

"It's obvious to tell that you rely on speed more than defense. When I noticed how fast your Pokemon move, it's easy to see your strategy right through you." Cress points out with a grin.

Aria smirks. "Not all of it relies on speed." She answers. "Hitmontop, stand in one spot!"

"What?" Cress shakes his head. "Panpour use Water Gun!"

Hitmontop turns around and sees the Water Gun heading towards it.

"Now use Counter!" Aria commands.

Hitmontop holds its hands up and blocks the Water Gun. The attack slowly becomes its own and sends it back at Panpour. Panpour looked surprised and couldn't get away from it in time.

Panpour was launched into one of the rocks and it shatters.

"Hurry up and finish this with Close Combat!"

Hitmontop runs up and deals multiple kicks to Panpour before it hits another rock and falls onto the ground.

"Panpour!" Cress cried.

"Panpour is unable to battle! And Aria wins the battle!" Cilan announces.

Aria returns Hitmontop to its Poke Ball and takes a deep breath.

It all comes down to this.

"The battle between Cilian the gym leader, and Aria the challenger is about to commence." Cress announces. "Begin!"

Aria takes out the Poke Ball Steven gave to her and throws it up into the air. What surprised her was when she noticed a familiar Jubilee Pokemon flying though the sky.

"Togekiss!" Aria cried surprised. Togekiss floated towards her, nuzzling her head on Aria's. "It's great to see you again!"

"Ah, the bond between a trainer and a Pokemon. The two of you are like two clouds that have become one with each other." Cilan stated, a hand on his chin.

Aria smiled at his comment as Togekiss floats beside her.

"Thanks! But it all comes down to this!" She said.

"I agree."

"You can attack first." Aria told him.

Cilan chuckled. "Pansage, use Bullet Seed!"

Pansage opened its mouth and fired the seeds.

"Dodge it Togekiss!" Aria told her. Togekiss quickly dives up, dodging the seeds with quick speed. "Use Aura Sphere!"

A blue orb appeared right in front of Togekiss and launched it right at Pansage.

"Use Bullet Seed again!" Cilan commanded.

Pansage fired it right at the Aura Sphere, destroying it as Togekiss flies through the entire gym.

"Aria has a lot advantage in the sky." Iris pointed out.

"Togekiss really wanted to see her that badly, huh?" Ash asked. Steven nodded.

"Yes, she really did."

Aria watched Pansage's movements before she sent out another command.

"Dive down!"

Togekiss flips backwards and heads down. Pansage stands his guard, ready to attack.

"Get ready Pansage and jump onto Togekiss's back!" Cilian told his partner. Pansage jumps up and grabs onto Togekiss's back.

"Shake it off!" Aria told her friend. "Don't let him get a chance to attack!"

"Use Fury Swipes!" Cilian commands. "And quickly!"

Togekiss tried to shake off Pansage but he wouldn't. Pansage grabs on tightly and starts to scratch at Togekiss' back. Togekiss lost her balance in the air and heads down towards the ground.

"Togekiss, use Psychic and throw Pansage!" Aria told her. Togekiss' eyes glowed and Pansage began to panic once the blow glow covered its body. Togekiss throws Pansage to the ground and then quickly dives back up and gains its balance back.

"Get up Pansage!" Cilan tolds his partner. Pansage struggles to get up, using its hands to stand up. "Hurry and use Solar Beam!"

Pansage held its hands up and a yellow sphere began to charge.

"Follow it up with Hyper Beam Togekiss!" Aria told her.

Togekiss flipped around and charged for a large beam of light.

"Do it!" The two command in unison.

They both fired it at the same time, the two moves hitting each other and knocking it back and forth.

"Togekiss, finish this off with Aura Sphere!" Aria told it.

Togekiss fires the blue sphere at the Hyper Beam and pushes it forward and past the Solar Beam. Pansage's eyes widen as the Aura Sphere comes flying at it and knocks it into the wall behind Cilian.

"Pansage!" He cried.

"Pansage is unable to battle. And Aria Ketchum is the winner!" Cress announces.

Aria sighed with relief, falling onto her knees.

"We did it." She says silently.

Togekiss flies towards her and rubs her face against Aria's.

"You did a great job girl. I'm so proud of you." She told her with a gentle smile.

Aria looks up and sees the three gym leaders standing before her. She gets off of the ground as they held something out to her.

"Congratulations Aria." Cilian told her. "Here, this Badge proves that you won today's match. The Trio Badge."

Aria smiles and takes it.

"Thank you." She says, staring at the badge in her hands.

My first Unova Gym Badge. She thought. This is just one of eight. We still have a lot more to go. I can't wait.

"Great job Aria!" Ash called out.

Aria looks in his direction and chuckles.

"Thanks Ash! Now it's your turn!" She told him. Aria places the badge in the new case she got from the professor and gives her Pokemon some Oran Berries she collected in the forest before they got the Striaton City. Aria and Ash switch positions and now she was watching from the audience.

"You did well Aria." Steven told her.

"Thanks Steven." Aria rubs her eyes. "All of that training really payed off."

"Yeah, but you stayed up all night doing it." Iris points out.

"I think I need a nap..." Aria yawns.

"More like a full on sleep." Steven rubs the back of his head. "If you are going to pass out, let me know, alright?"

Aria nods, leaning her body against the railing to support herself.

"Should have gotten some sleep." Aria scolds herself silently.
