Itachi's POV:
The twins have already finished introducing themselves including that Fujioka crossdressing girl. Nothing can go past these eyes of mine so don't bother asking why I knew that.
"So, let me introduce to you the rest of my family and a few relatives. First are the fraternal twins, Naruto and Sasuke," Uncle Saku said while holding out his hand in front of the twins. The two boys nodded their heads stiffly at the hosts before looking away.
"Then my youngest son, Sai and of course, you already know my daughter, Sakura," he said as he held his hand in front of his youngest. "These two here are my brothers, Kakashi ("Yo!") and Yamato (". . . . . . . *scary, smiling face*. . . . Hello"). Then my children's grandparents, Tsunade and Jiraiya," he cheerfully stated before facing the young group.
"The raven haired boy beside Sakura is Itachi, her cousin and one of my few nephews, and on the other side is Deidara, her other cousin and another one of my few nephews," he told them. I nodded to them in greeting while Deidara just shouted out, "Yo! How'ya doin', yeah?" I facepalmed mentally at him.
"You're an idiot," I mutter with a calm expression. But he heard it and hissed back, "What? I'm no idiot, right, Sakura? Yeah?" Sakura just sighed and muttered, "Please, avoid making a fight with me in between. We're having something akin to a meeting here, so please. . . Shush!"
"Alright, alright," Deidara grumbled as he straightened in his seat. I kept quiet as I watched the hosts. They didn't seem much. Just some typical 'bishie'.
"Well then. With the introductions done with, I want you to answer a few questions," I heard Tsunade-baa say. The hosts stiffened as they stared at her. They all had serious faces but it all turned into surprise when Jiraiya-jiji laughed out loud.
"Wh-what's funny, Sir?" the Tamaki Suou guy asked. "N-nothing," the old man answered whilst trying to stifle his laughs. "Jiraiya. Stop laughing already," Tsunade-baa told him. He stopped a few seconds later then he became serious.
"Now then, I just wanted to know. What is your relationship with my granddaughter in Ouran?" she asked. I looked at the nervous teens in front of me and waited for their answer. One of the twins was about to answer when Tsunade-baa spoke first, "The truth, please. Don't forget." The boy shut his mouth and kept quiet.
"Nobody will answer my question?" Tsunade-baa asked. One raised his hand, the lolita boy with the bunny. We all turned our attention to him and stared sa we waited for his answer. It was obvious that he got more nervous once we turned our eyes on him. Pressure seems to be a weak point of his.
"W-we're actually t-trying to recruit him into the club but he wouldn't budge. Then we f-followed him here where we met Sakura-san who we thought was his twin at first. But then she said that her father was named S-Saku so we got confused. Then w-we concluded that the teenage Sakura i-in Ouran was an imposter and immediately made p-plans to make his life miserable. . . . . . Then we just find out that Sakura-san and Saku were o-one and the same. . . . Hehehe," he explained despite still looking nervous.
I heard Sakura giggle softly beside me so I turned my eyes on her, curious. Maybe she felt someone staring at her because she looked up. She grinned before winking at me playfully. I shook my head with a sigh before turning my attention back to the lolita kid.
"Is that all?" Tsunade-baa asked him. The boy nodded before hugging his stuffed bunny more tightly. She sighed before asking another question. And on and on we asked which weren't exactly few like what Tsunade-baa said earlier.
"L-let's stop the questioning now, can we? Look at them already. It's like the life was suddenly taken out of them," Sakura pointed out. This was the time all of them noticed the comical, pale and hollow faces of the hosts, excluding me of course. For I have keen eyesight and am very sharp. "OH! S-sorry! W-we forgot that you are still humans and need a little refreshments. Rei-san!" Auntie Maki called, a bit panicked.
Rei-san came a few minutes later with a tray of lemonade. He gave one to each and the boys and girl drank it all up. I 'heh'-ed in amusement. Once all of them were refreshed, they looked a little more unpale. "I-I'm sorry for not noticing it sooner," Auntie Maki apologized. The boy named Suou shook his head and said a little maturely, "It's alright, Maki-san. Please. . . You were just asking questions."
Auntie Maki sighed then relaxed in her seat. "How about we have a deal?" Jiraiya-jiji proposed suddenly, all eyes turned to him, even mine, in surprise. "What? You guys look like I'm some freak talking in a freak show," he said. I averted my eyes and turned them on something else. Perhaps on my cousin's hair, which was obviously pink.
"O~kay. . . . So! What's the deal that you wanted to propose, Grampa?" I heard Sakura, in an unnaturally cheerful way, ask him. Jiraiya-jiji coughed once before saying, "How about Sakura-chan joins your club, as a boy of course, while you try to keep her real gender and identity secret, hmm? Like you do with this girl?"
Silence ensued. Every family member was looking at the old man who, obviously, looked like he wasn't even noticing it until his wife commented. And in such a surprised tone that would truly hint that his wife really was surprised and astonished with what he said. "I never knew you had the brains to think like that, Jiraiya," Tsunade-baa said, her eyes a bit wide-eyed as she stared at her husband. Catching on what his wife meant, Jiraiya-jiji crossed his arms sulkily and 'humph'ed. I even heard him mutter, "Stop mocking me already!"
Thinking that being surprised with my grandfather's previous statement, I looked at the hosts calculatingly and noticed them grin. "Of course, Jiraiya-san!" Tamaki, the annoyingly prince-actor, agreed. But I knew that Jiraiya-jiji had something to say next so I waited. "Bu~t," he began making the hosts look at him in curiosity, "You will not order my little Sakura-chan around like a dog or a servant. You will respect her and treat her like you treat what's very important to you because she will be. You will be nice to her, no tricking her into some trap for revenge. Or else. . . . . ."
Jiraiya-jiji said that in such a taunting tone that the hosts were nodding, scared at what the old man might be thinking after the "Or else" phrase. I smirked mentally. This is kind of amusing. I looked down at Sakura who was looking at Jiraiya-jiji with her mouth open. "Close your mouth, Sakura. You look like an idiot," I whispered.
She closed her mouth immediately after I said that and mouthed a thanks after a half-hearted glare. I nodded slightly in response, still amused. "Well. . . . With that said and done, let's go inside and end this little meeting. Sakura, how about you try to start being friends with them right now?" Anutie Maki said.
A few moments of silence and Sakura nodded in agreement. "Okay. . . . But does it have to be right now? 'Cause I think I have to go somewhere with Uncle Kakashi and the boys later," Sakura said. I looked down at her curiously.
"Oh, really?" Auntie asked. Sakura nodded determinedly. "Well, okay. . . . You children," Auntie Maki said while pointing at the hosts, "You can go because she's gonna go somewhere with family and relatives. I'm sorry we couldn't entertain you after a while of. . . uh. . . . questioning? Ehehe. . . I'll escort you out so please bid my family good bye."
She stood up and waited for them. We bid good bye and they were gone, following Auntie Maki's stride. Sakura stretched out her arms and back once they were gone. "Where are we going, nee-chan?" Naruto asked her. I looked on, waiting for her answer. I don't remember hearing from Kakashi that we will be going out nor did I hear from her that we will be going out.
"Don't you remember? Uncle Kakashi promised to take us to an amusement park with Itachi and Deidara. Right, Uncle Kakashi?" We all looked at the empty where Kakashi had once sat on. I heard Sakura shriek in outrage as she tried to find our lazy uncle. I shook my head and walked back into the mansion.
Deidara noticed me go and walked beside me. "Where're you going?" he asked. I didn't answer making him irritated. "Hey! I'm asking you question, yeah!" he shouted. I ignore him still. And he began rambling. A thought came to me. Why and how am I really related to these people?
Sakura's POV:
"Uncle Kakashi! Oi!" I called. I already roamed the whole garden, which I tell you, is very big. I also tried to look in his and Uncle Yamato's room but he wasn't there. I tried the kitchen and the living room and Granny and Grampa's room but he wasn't inside them either. I stopped and scratched my head. "Where is that old man?" I asked myself, my face in an irritated scowl.
I turned around and walked back into the mansion. I was actually in front of the mansion and thought of trying to find him there but, as you can see, I couldn't find him. So, might as well go back inside. I asked Rei-san to help me find him earlier but Rei-san hadn't found Uncle Kakashi yet. And neither did I.
When I reached the living room, I slumped into the sofa's comforting softness and sighed. "Sakura-chan~ How about kaa-san go with you instead of Uncle Kakashi?" I hear mother ask once she was sitting beside me. I sighed again. I thought about it. Uncle Kakashi promised and the boys and I were really looking forward to it since he was our closest uncle even though we hated his whole existence for always being late. But now, he's broken it because of his laziness (again) but kaa-san's volunteering. Well, kaa-san's been with to-san for most of our lives so we almost rarely see them. This might be a good opportunity to have time together.
"Okay, kaa-san. But the boys would still be upset. They were actually looking forward to going to the amusement park with Uncle Kakashi. Even though we know he'd be late again or expected him to be," I said. Kaa-san laughed. I smiled, feeling a little better.
And suddenly, Uncle Kakashi appeared with his face covered by his perverted book. "Uncle Kakashi!" I said, surprised and irritated by the fact that he chose this moment to appear in front of me. That sly little. . . . "Yo! Maki, make sure you won't be late," he said before walking away from our spot from the sofa.
I stood up, face red in anger. "Oh, dear, forgive him. You know how he is. He's lazy and really, aren't you used to that already? Come on. Let's get ready. Boys!" kaa-san said before standing up and calling to the boys to get ready. I rolled my eyes before following the older man. "Uncle Kakashi! Uncle Kakashi!" I called but he didn't turn around. My eyes narrowed. I jogged toward him to quicken my pace and gripped his shoulder. He turned to me, a surprised look on his face. But it turned to one of a smiley face.
"Yes, Sakura?" he said. I took my hand off of him and asked him, "Why did you hide when I tried to find you? And why did you choose to appear right after the moment I agreed to kaa-san coming with us to the amusement park instead of you?" He sighed before closing his book. "Sakura," he began, "I don't feel like going out of the mansion today, okay? And I'm in the good part where Mari and-" I didn't let him finish what he was about to say because I already got the idea. Pervert. He even had the nerve to report to me, an supposed-to-be-innocent but turned into a not-so-innocent teenage girl, what was happening in the perverted book he's reading.
I pointed a finger at him accusingly before saying, "We are gonna make you come with us whether you like it or not. And now that you're right here in front of me, I will personally drag your butt out of this mansion to have some time with your neice and nephews and kaa-san." He just shook his head then nodded with a suspicious gleam in his eyes. I narrowed mine in suspicion.
"Well, come on," I say, not turning around. I have a feeling that once I turn my back to him, he'll disappear. "Sakura! Watch out!" he shouted with such panic that I had to look at where he was pointing. Not. I crossed my arms and tapped the toe of my shoes on the floor as I gave him a look that says 'Do-that-again-and-you're-very-toasted.' He just chuckles nervously.
I opened my mouth to speak when I heard Naruto shout my name from behind me. I coudn't help but look and once I realized my mistake, I turned around only to see an empty spot where Uncle Kakashi should have been standing on. I clench my fists and said ever so softly to myself, "Once I get a hold of that old man's neck, I'm gonna twist it till it breaks." After that, I breathe deeply then exhale and do it again for four more times.
Naruto was now behind me and was looking up expectantly at me. I smile. "What is it, Naru-chan?" I ask him. "Kaa-san's going with us instead of Uncle Kakashi," he says. I nod and he nods and we laugh together. I hold out my hand and he takes it then we walk beck to the living room. "Are we gonna punish him later?" I hear Naruto ask. "Mm-hmm. A very hard punishment," I reply to him and I hear him snicker mischievously.
When we reach the living room, kaa-san and the other boys were ready. They're all ready, including Naruto, and I'm not. I let go of Naruto's hand and I excuse myself. "Where are you going, Sakura-chan?" kaa-san asks. "Getting myself ready," I shout back.
I went to my room and closed the door. I open my closet and pick out clothes for the little outing. I changed into them and took my favorite pair of sneakers out that always goes with any outfit I ever changed into. Once done slipping my feet into them, I take my purse and walk out of my room. When I reach the living room, I see kaa-san and the boys waiting for me patiently with their belongings in hand.
"You ready, Sakura?" Deidara asked me with his grin. I smiled at him and nodded in reply. "Let's go!" Naruto exclaimed with a fist in the air before stepping into a sprint down the hallway. The other two, little Sai and Sasuke, joined him in glee which leaves us older ones chuckling amusedly at their antics. We followed them out the mansion in a more relaxed pace.
And we immediately stepped into the van. As Zabuza-san drove us out of the mansion to the amusement park, the boys and I played the name game, Itachi and Deidara excluded since they were fighting again in the back, and it was Naruto's turn to guess the name we thought of.
"Gimon!" he guesses. We shake our heads. "Haruki!" another guess. We shake our heads again. He holds his chin while narrowing his eyes in concentration. "Jumonji!" he exclaims confidently. Another shake of our heads. He sits back and grumbles. Sasuke, Sai and I laughed as we see the unrelenting torment Naruto was having as he tries to think of other possible names we could have thought of. But all of it would be in vain if he didn't get the name right (and it was right under his nose, too).
"Naru-chan? Are you gonna give up?" I asked him. He just widens his eyes in horror before a new set of vigor shines in his eyes. "Never!" he declares with a determined, dramatic clench of his fist. I chuckled, amused. "Oh!" he says with a clap. He turns to us and points at us then shouted, "Naruto!"
The three of us clapped our hands and jokingly congratulated him for guessing the name just like in game shows. Sai even made sound effects of some kind of cheerful ringing of a bell just like in a game show, too. And Naruto jokingly thanks us for it, even bowing making us laugh. Then it was my turn to guess. I waited for them to tell me it's time to guess the name as they discussed. Once, they asked kaa-san if she thought of a name but kaa-san didn't want to join the game and said that she was busy watching the scenery. A while later and they thought of something so they told me to begin guessing.
I began with easy names. "Kabuto," I said. They shook their heads with wide grins. "Hmmmm. . . . Tooru," I guessed again but they shook their heads. "Sarumi?" I guessed again. They shook their heads again. I hmm'ed and held my chin as I tried to think of names in my head. "Gintarou?" They shook their heads again so it's a wrong name. "Gin," I told them and they shook their heads again. I thought again. "Sakura," I told them and they shook their heads again, though their grins were wider than before. "Um. . . Sakura-chan?" I guessed uncertainly and they told me I was wrong again. "Giving up?" Sasuke asked me with a brow raised in a way that says 'What? Is that all you got?'. I shook my head no determinedly and thought deeply.
"Sakura nee-chan," I guessed and this time, they didn't shake their heads, instead, they nodded. Like earlier from Naruto's turn, I was congratulated and I thanked them. We played the game a little longer until we reached the amusement park. Zabuza-san parked between two, parked cars and told us that he'd wait here in the van. We all thanked him for the ride before stepping out of the car. The boys started running toward the gates excitedly while kaa-san, Itachi, Deidara and I just walked after them. The boys were shouting at us to hurry up and kaa-san just sighed.
"These boys will be the end of me some day, Sakura. Some day," kaa-san grumbled and I just giggled. "I'm going to make sure they won't be. And anyways, they'll grow up and mature in a few more years," I told her. But I heard her mutter softly beside me, "That's what worries me." I already knew what she meant. Sometimes, we'd talk about one topic and then suddenly, she'd go to another topic which would be about what the boys will turn out to be when they grow older. Then I would have to calm her down and tell her not to worry because I was going to make sure they won't turn into gangsters and such (You know the deal).
When we reached the boys, who were already past the gates, they were already jumping up and down excitedly as they waited for kaa-san to buy tickets and play coins. She came back a little while later with seven tickets and six strings of play coins. Right after taking their own tickets and string of play coins, Naruto and Sasuke raced their way through rides. Sai was left with me and the others.
Kaa-san turned to me with a smile and said, "Take Sai and have fun, will you? I'll stay by the small cafe over there while you play. Be careful." I looked around for the cafe she was referring to and found it a few rides on my right. I nodded then held little Sai's hand. Sai waved at kaa-san with a big grin and kaa-san waved back with a smile of her own. Itachi and Deidara said they'd be finding rides on their own so Sai and I were the ones left to ourselves. Little Sai started to pull me to different kinds of rides. Some, I'd refuse to ride because I was worried something bad might happen, and some, I'd let him.
We were already on our fourth ride. I don't know what to call it. Because just like other rides, there are several cars with three seats in them that are connected to a thick, metallic pole by a set of arms (Can you imagine what I'm describing?) so it kind of looks like it's an octopus with a cylindrical head. We were about to step in when I heard familiar voices from behind me though I wasn't sure whose voices it were. But I couldn't look back because Sai kept me busy by clinging to my sleeve and grinning up at me, which I can tell you very honestly, is one of the cutest things ever! "Come on, nee-chan! Come on!" I chuckled at his eagerness and got in beside him.
After a while, the cars are full so the controller guy pushed a button and the arms connecting the cars to the main body of the ride began to move, albeit slowly at first. Then, it became faster. And faster. And faster. Up and down. Up and down. Up and down. I didn't notice myself screaming and holding my arms upward from the speed of ride until I can hear Sai screaming right beside me. But instead of sounding scared, he sounded like he was having so much fun getting air-whipped in the face. Which is actually what I'm NOT feeling right now. If he like being air-whipped in the face, then I don't. I hate feeling like the air is alive and wants to flatten my face.
When the ride stopped moving, I felt like my face really was flat and I think my hair just defied gravity. But when I felt my hair, it was fine and when I touched my face, it wasn't flat at all, which made me feel a little better. Sai and I stepped out of the three-seated car ride and walked for a bit. "Where do you want to go next, Sai-chan?" I asked. When I looked down, little Sai had his hand on his chin in a thinking position. I chuckled.
We walked a little more until we passed a ride where I thought I heard the same familiar voices from before. I looked around to see whose voices it were and found them standing in a line for the ferris wheel. I beamed. It was the guys! And by guys, I meant Neji, Tenten, Lee, Kiba, Hinata, and Shino!
I patted Sai's shoulder and when we looked up at me, I pointed at my friends' direction. Sai turned his head in that direction and also beamed. "Neji! Lee!" Little Sai called out to them. But it seems that they didn't hear so we thought of walking over to them.
Once we were near them, I greeted them, "Yo!" All of them turned around and saw me holding little Sai's hand. They all grinned, except for grumpy Neji who is always in a frown but still looks so cute! Kiba held up his hands and we high fived. "What are you doing here?" Tenten asked with a smile. "We were promised to go to this amusement park today," little Sai answered. I nodded in confirmation.
"Wah! Sakura-san! You're as pretty as ever! Please marry me!" Lee exclaimed before intending on jump-hugging me but Tenten stopped him by the collar making the younger boy run on the spot. Literally. With his hands stretched out before him to try to get a hold of me. I laughed together with the others. "You're too young for Sakura, Lee! And look, we're next! Sakura, you can meet with us after the ride. Will you wait?" Tenten said. I nodded. "Thanks!"
And Tenten with her younger brother being pulled by herself, Lee, walked toward another controller guy. I looked at Hinata and smiled. She smiled back. Then I noticed that she's trying to find someone behind me. 'And I think I know who it is,' I thought with a mischievous smirk. "Hinata?" I called. She looked up.
"Yes?" I raised a brow teasingly before asking, "Were you expecting someone?" as I crossed my arms. Then she blushed a deep shade of red. She shook her head furiously while shaking her hands at the same time. I giggled making her blush deepen a little more from embarrassment. "Don't worry, Hinata. Deidara's with us. You can meet up with him later when you guys are done with the ride," I teased. Hinata made a yelp of surprise and she began fidgeting.
Hinata has a very big crush on Deidara ever since the first time they met. Her feelings were triggered when Deidara helped her pick up the things she accidentally let go of after getting bumped in the shoulder. Itachi, Deidara, Hinata, and I were in the same school once when we were a lot younger but obviously, Deidara was in a different grade level than us. I was helping Hinata with an errand for our homeroom teacher when someone bumped her in the shoulder a bit too hardly making her let go almost all the things she was carrying. The guy didn't even say sorry so I went on and picked a fight with him while Hinata was trying to stop me and picking her things up at the same time. And then, coincidentally, Deidara and Itachi arrived at the scene. Itachi helped me get out of the fight, which was pretty much not needed since I could have get out of it myself, while Deidara helped Hinata with her things. And her feelings began to develop.
Ah, young love. It always happens at unexpected moments of your life. And back then, I actually had such a temper that I didn't exactly control causing kaa-san to worry and make me take anger management classes (which I really hated most of all besides being bullied and seeing someone bully others).
The others already know about her feelings for my cousin and they didn't think twice about teasing her about it. Even Itachi and the younger ones (and by that I mean my brothers, Hinata's cousin named Neji, Tenten's brother named Lee who kept talking about marrying me and my hair was exotic, and other things I'm not sure where he got from) kept on teasing her. But only Deidara didn't know about it even though Hinata always gave hints.
I sighed. I wonder why he's so dense.
After a while, it was their turn to get in the ride. So little Sai and I found a bench where we waited after buying ice cream. "How about we call Deidara over here to give Hinata and him some time together? Like a date?" I proposed to Sai. I looked down at him and he was grinning up at me. I grinned back.
I took out my phone and called Tenten, Kiba, Shino, Itachi, and Neji (since despite his age, he acts mature sometimes) and told them of my plan. Thankfully, Neji agreed just like the others. He's actually very protective of his older cousin. And after that, little Sai and I will have to wait here in the bench with mischievous smirks as we licked our ice cream and ate the cone.
This is going to be great!
