Okay, hello and welcome to the next chapter of burring Soul, on the last chapters you discovered some secrets from Akashi, but know we will concentrate on Akami, in this chapter she will have some peace before the storm that rages to her life, in this chapter she will have some time with her friends and take her time knowing them better, all right let's get into this.
Chapter 10: Peace before the storm
It was a nice morning at the Jade Palace, and everyone was still sleeping peacefully in their rooms, since Tigress and Po gave the day off to everyone, especially Akashi. Akashi was lying on his room beside Miyo while the rays of the sun shined over his eyes waking him up; Akashi opened his eyes and then turned to his wife and smiled while watching her while she was still asleep. Akashi then moved near his wife and embraced her with his arms and hugged her as she purred slightly and opened her eyes and looked at Akashi.
"Good morning honey" Akashi said kissing Miyo's forehead.
"Good morning Akashi." Miyo replied rubbing her eyes and cuddling on Akashi's arm. "I had a dream with you."
"Oh yeah, what you dream about." Akashi asked his wife while looking at her.
"Well, we were dancing down the rain then you stopped dancing and glared at me with those big, warming, blue eyes you have and then kissed me like you never done." Miyo said remembering her dream, closing her eyes and hugging Akashi.
"Is a nice dream, what if we make it real, but just the kiss part" Akashi said glaring at his wife.
Miyo giggled and said. "Alright, but not to load, the others might hear us."
"Don't worry; we have time before they wake up." Akashi replied and kissed Miyo passionately making out with his wife.
Some minutes later Akashi came out of his room and left Miyo to sleep a little bit more, so he walked to the courtyard of the jade Palace and stood at the top of the thousands stairs looking down at the valley and said. "I can't believe you want to destroy this valley…Marceline."
Then Marceline appeared from the shadows and replied. "I told you I already chose a path, and I don't need you to be telling me that I'm wrong."
"I thought I could bring you back to your senses by talking, but I guess I need more than talking to make you see your mistake my dear daughter." Akashi said turning to Marceline.
"Is that a threat or a dare, I can take you whenever you want father" Marceline replied taking her scythe.
"Not here, you and I, deep inside the bamboo forest, alone."Akashi said glaring at Marceline while she nodded and then disappeared. "I will bring her back no matter what."
Meanwhile at the students barracks
Akami was starting to wake up, so she stretched her body and then rubbed her eyes, then she got out of her room and walked directly into the bathroom to take a shower unaware that Nijito was peeking into the bathroom from outside, but then the young fox heard a growl from behind and when he turned around he saw Kami in her beast form growling at him. Meanwhile inside the bathroom Akami could hear Nijito screaming from her so she sighed and said. "Sweet music for my ears." Akami then proceeded to wash her fur and then raising the soap off it, and then she walked out of the showers and wrapped a towel around her body and walked to her room.
Akami opened the door only to find every girl awake, Akami walked inside nervously since she didn't like to show her body to other girls. So she walked to her bed and took of the towel and tried to change fast, but Nami noticed the lines around her body.
"Akami, you never told me you had those lines around your body." Nami said examining Akami's body.
"Wow, those tattoos are so cool, is there any way I can get some." Sora said also looking at Akami's body.
"Akami, I'm not sure if these lines will make you sexier for a boy, but that pair of breasts of yours might get you a guy." Fate said messing a little with Akami.
Akami blushed slightly and covered her breasts with her arms and replied. "Like if yours weren't big too, they are even bigger than mines."
"No way, mines are regular unlike yours" Fate said staring to argue with Akami.
"Now, now you two, who cares who is bigger or smaller?" Nami said trying to settle things between the girls.
Akami and Faith exchanged glares and then glared at Nami and pounced over her and tried to undress her. "What if you show us yours" Fate said taking Nami's shirt.
"Yeah, I bet yours are big too. "Akami said taking Nami's bra.
Meanwhile Akashi was walking through the hallway and heard the noise coming from the girl's room, so he opened the door and shouted. "What's happening here?" Akashi froze when he saw Akami and Fate over Nami trying to take her shirt off. The girls shouted when they saw Akashi so they used their abilities to burn and freeze him out of there.
Akashi groaned in pain and said. "I really need to knock before entering."
The girls just looked at Akashi while giggling nervously and Nami said. "I just hope we are not in problems for this."
"Don't worry, it happens him very often" Akami said while everyone entered the room and dressed to start their day.
"So we have the day off, what shall we do for the rest of the day" Haruka said placing her shirt over her.
"What if we go to the village and do some shopping." Akami said while everyone agreed.
So then the girls walked out of the palace to the village unaware that Nijito and Masaki where spying them from the roof. "Girls, nobody will ever understand them" Nijito said while Masaki nodded. "Want to follow them." Masaki smiled and replied. "You know I want to."
And so the two boys got down from the roof and followed the girls to the valley. Nijito followed the girls stalking them from behind, while Masaki observed the girls from the skies. The girls walked around the village looking around the stores, and buying whatever they liked, Nijito was starting to get bored from spying the girls, but he kept following them thinking they might get inside the hot springs, so he started imagining them on the hot springs. Them of sometime following the girls Nijito saw his dream coming true, he saw all the girls entering the hot springs, so he whistled calling Masaki to take him to the roof of the hot springs to get a better view.
Meanwhile at the bamboo forest
Akashi walked through the forest, wearing a long black hooded robe, looking around for Marceline, but he couldn't found her so he was about to turn around and leave, but from nowhere a beam of purple energy appeared and almost impacted Akashi. Akashi jumped away from the beam and landed on top of a bamboo, and then he looked up and saw Marceline standing on top of another bamboo facing to him.
Akashi stood over the bamboo and said. "I thought you were not going to come."
Marceline growled at Akashi and replied. "I'm not a coward like you or that daughter of yours."
"I can't believe how you have forgotten what I did for you, I gave you a place to call home, I treated you like my own daughter, I gave you all my love and this is how you repay me." Akashi said with some tears over his eyes.
Marceline just chuckled at Akashi's statement, and then she summoned her scythe and said. "I never asked you to do all that for me, that was your decision and this one is mine."
Akashi couldn't believe Marceline's words and couldn't bare the pain of fighting someone he used to call daughter. "Marceline this is really hard for me, but it doesn't matters how much pain it brings me I will bring you back to your senses one way or another." Akashi said evoking his red aura.
"Then so be it" Marceline said evoking Tsukuyomi.
Akashi growled at this and watched how Tsukuyomi summoned a spiritual scythe and slashed the air creating a purple wave directly to Akashi. Akashi disappeared at the last moment, evading the wave and confusing Marceline. Marceline looked around to find Akashi, unaware that the white wolf appeared behind her giving him the opportunity to kick her in the back sending her to the ground. Akashi dashed through the air ready to punch Marceline, but Tsukuyomi appeared and blocked the hit, so Akashi landed on his feet and used his claws to slice Marceline, but again Tsukuyomi blocked Akashi, avoiding any harm for Marceline.
Akashi growled to the fact he couldn't get near Marceline, so he jumped backwards and started thinking about another strategy. Marceline stood up and saw Akashi just glaring at her so she grabbed her scythe and slashed the air while Akashi was unaware and sent a wave of energy that impacted the white wolf sending him directly to a stone. Akashi groaned in pain so he evoked his seven aura tails and used them to attack Marceline, but again Tsukuyomi protected her. Akashi growled in frustration unaware that Tsukuyomi grabbed his aura tails and swung him around and threw him directly into a wall.
Akashi couldn't believe he was being beat by Marceline, so he evoked his entire aura causing the red lines around his body to grow even more. Akashi was ready to fight Marceline, so he rushed to her and evaded Tsukuyomi and delivered a powerful hit to her face sending her to the air, then Akashi appeared behind her and grabbed her from the arm and slammed her down on the ground. Akashi landed in front of Marceline ready to finish her, but suddenly Tsukuyomi appeared and prevented Akashi from coming any near his wielder. Akashi couldn't do anything but watch how Marceline regained herself and took her scythe on her hands and rushed to Akashi. Akashi noticed this, so he ran toward Marceline with his claws ready to fight, and both wolfs clashed Akashi with his claws and Marceline with her scythe, and both created a huge explosion.
Back at the hot springs
Akami and her friends where enjoying the warm water from the pool, unaware that Nijito and Masaki where spying on them, but suddenly everyone heard an uproar coming from the bamboo forest. Nijito and Masaki stood on the roof of the hot springs and saw a light coming from the bamboo forest but then a wave of energy knocked both of them from the roof of the hot spring and sent them into the ground, while Akami and her friends got out of the hot spring to discover what was happening, then everyone watched in the skies two wolves fighting with all their strengths.
Akami jumped to the roof to get a better view and saw it was Akashi and Marceline. "That's my father" Akami informed everyone else, while they ran to aid Akashi.
Meanwhile Akashi was fighting Marceline and her inner spirit with his own claws, but Marceline was having the advantage thanks to her scythe. Akashi tried to deliver a good hit to Marceline's stomach, but she blocked the hit while Tsukuyomi punched Akashi sending him to the ground. Akami rushed to her father and aided him to stand up again, while Nijito and Masaki got ready to fight Marceline as she descended in front of them. Nijito was about to give the first move, but suddenly Akashi stopped him and said. "She is mine, don't you dare to interfere."
"Dad, let us help you, she is going to beat you with Tsukuyomi." Akami said trying to bring some sense to her father.
Akashi growled and shouted. "You don't understand, I must do this without help, I must bring her back from darkness myself, I… I can't lose anybody again due to the darkness, that's why… That's why I'm fighting it myself."
Akami couldn't understand her father reasons to fight Marceline himself with no help. "Dad I don't understand, tell me the reason why are you so interested on bringing Marceline to our side she is just…"
"BECAUSE… SHE IS MY DAUGHTER!" Akashi shouted while his aura started swirling around him ferociously and concentrating on his hands, engulfing his arms on his aura. "I can't let her go; I will not let her do the same mistake I did."
"Such word coming from a pathetic person like you Akashi must get lost on the wind, don't you understand this is my decision and nothing that you do will change it" Marceline said taking her scythe ready to fight again.
"Stand back, I'm getting serious now" Akashi said cloning himself and surrounding Marceline.
Marceline looked around her awaiting Akashi's first strike, but she was unaware Akashi sneaked behind her and was about to kick her, but Tsukuyomi noticed this and blocked the hit, but it gave the opportunity to a clone to get past Marceline's defense. The clone punched Marceline's chin and then grabbed her from the legs and slammed her on the ground, then the clone lifted Marceline from her leg and threw her to the air, while two more clones jumped following her. The two started kicking and punching Marceline in the air and then one clone placed himself above Marceline while the second placed himself below Marceline. Both clones smiled creating a bao guang impacting Marceline at the same time causing her a severe damage. Meanwhile the real Akashi jumped in the air with a clone holding a bao guang on his hands, and then Akashi grabbed the clone from the wrist and threw him directly to Marceline impacting the bao guang with him and sending Marceline to the ground.
Akashi landed on the ground panting, but couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Marceline standing up again. Akashi felt a rage on him, so the white wolf barked and rushed directly to Marceline. Akashi tied the purple and black she wolf with a pain of chains and painted five symbols around her, then Akashi stood in front of the young villainess and shouted. "Darkness that inhabits this body, I order you to go and never return" Akashi then clasped his hands while the symbols started to shine around Marceline, but suddenly Marceline's body started to flow with purple energy.
Akashi was about to finish the sealing of the darkness, but it was too late he could hear Marceline shouting. "Time Splitter" then everything started moving in slow motion everything for the exception of Marceline. The black she wolf walked normally to Akashi and lifted her scythe to attack him, lucky for him the slow motion effect finished allowing Akashi to jump backwards.
Akashi shook his head and noticed something strange about Marceline, her clothes started to burn and disintegrate while her body fur started to emanate a black light and the purple lines covering her body started to shine, then her eyes turned light purple. Akashi then noticed Marceline started to emanate a dark purple smoke, and then from the smoke she summoned a giant silver scythe with purple details and a wolf coming from one side of the scythe.
"What the heck is this; I have never seen something like this." Akashi said receding and ordering the kids to leave that place.
"You had the advantage until now, but let's see how you do against Lord Tsukuyomi" Marceline said with a mixed voice pointing her knew scythe at Akashi. "Time Slicer"
As Akashi heard those words, he saw how Marceline disappeared and then of some seconds Akashi felt a pain on his shoulder followed by a burst, then he watched Marceline appearing behind him. Akashi turned and placed himself on guard, but then Marceline disappeared again and then felt the same pain on his back, followed by a burst of energy that sent him to a nearby wall. Akashi tried pouncing over Marceline, but she disappeared on a cloud of purple smoke and reappeared behind Akashi, like a ghost. Akashi growled at the fact he was fighting an opponent he couldn't touch.
Akami noticed her father needed help and said. "Reiri, can you see what's happening."
Reiri took a look to the scene and watched how Marceline disappeared and reappeared and then she used her abilities to see what was really happening. "Marceline is disappearing and reappearing by stopping the time, having Tsukuyomi gives her the ability to stop the time to attack your father, Tsukuyomi also grants her abilities to teleport, disappear and reaper, just like the moon, at day she is there, but at night she is not."
"Is there some way to stop her" Akami asked her friend hoping for an answer.
"I'm afraid the only way is to attack her is before she freezes the time" Reiri said watching how Marceline attacked Akashi with all her fierceness.
Akashi tried to evade Marceline's attacks, but she appeared behind him, since she could predict Akashi's movement before he did them. Akashi then tried jumping far away from Marceline, so the white wolf jumped to a roof, but Marceline intercepted the white wolf move and teleported behind him and kicked him to the ground. Akashi stood up try to find the way to beat Marceline, but Marceline kept evading Akashi's moves and predicting his next movement. Akashi was panting heavily and his aura was extremely depleted, so Marceline took advantage of it and wrote five kanji symbols on the air and shoot a purple beam from them directly to Akashi. The white wolf regained his stance and used what was left from his aura to create a shield protect himself from the hit. Akashi panted heavily knowing that Marceline's next move could finish him, but then it hit him, if Marceline stopped time, that means he needed to anticipate Marceline's move while she stopped the time, he needed to block Marceline's hit in the split second she unfreezes time.
Akashi knew what he needed to do so he started reading Marceline's aura while she prepared for her last move, and when he heard the words. "Time Slicer" Akashi opened his eyes and turned fast and placed his hands in front of him with his top speed, surprisingly blocking Marceline's hit and grabbing her scythe. Marceline noticed this and panicked and stopped the time while Akashi was still holding to her scythe not affecting him. Akashi smiled at this and jumped backwards and created a bao guang with a great energy on the center and rushed to Marceline impacting her on the stomach sending her to the air, and somehow breaking the time freeze. Marceline impacted a nearby building and then she fell unconscious, but Akashi jumped just in time to catch her in the air.
Akashi held Marceline's in his arms and took off his cloak to cover her naked body. "I'm sorry Marceline, but you forced me to do this" Said the white wolf looking at the young black she wolf.
"Nijito, this could be the best day ever." Masaki said smiling with Nijito and staring at Marceline's body, but Nami stopped them by burning their butts.
Akashi then stood up and was about to take Marceline to the Jade Palace, but a huge sword came from nowhere and almost sliced him. Akashi evaded the incoming blade and then looked up only to find Daisuke standing at the top of a building. Akashi stood up, still holding Marceline while Daisuke shouted at him. "I see you beat my daughter."
"She is not your daughter." Akashi said emotionless.
"Come on Akashi, you still feel dumped because she preferred me as her father than you." Daisuke said jumping to the ground, grabbing his sword and placing it on his shoulder.
"How can you call yourself her father when you abandoned her all alone surrounded by monsters" Akashi said remembering that night he found Marceline.
"Suffering, the same reason why Dotsu killed your mother, sweet suffering that feeds her inner daemon that is corrupting Tsukuyomi" Daisuke said only angering Akashi even more.
Akashi growled and then gave Marceline to Akami and her friends to hold her for him, then turned to Daisuke and said. "Is time for me to finish what I started sixteen years ago" Akashi then whistled while Dei appeared in her sword form and flew to Akashi's hands. "Deia, dragon fang form" Akashi ordered to his weapon partner while it transformed into a huge fang shaped blade.
Then Akashi and Daisuke darted to each other and clashed with their blades trying to hurt the other one. Akashi fought with all his strengths, but most of his aura was depleted from fighting Marceline, and Daisuke was fully regained from his wounds and injuries since he absorbed part of Akami's aura last time they fought. Akashi then tried to slice Daisuke's head off, but the black wolf ducked and kicked Akashi in the stomach and sent him to a wall. Akashi regained himself and concentrated what was left of his aura on the tip of his blade and rushed to Daisuke and clashed again causing a huge explosion that sent Daisuke and Akashi in flying in opposite directions. Akashi tried to stand up, but then passed out since he depleted most of his aura already.
Akami left Marceline with Nami and Haruka, and rushed to help her father, but then he saw Daisuke standing up again and walking slowly to her. Akami stood up between her father and Daisuke to protect him, but Daisuke lifted his blade ready to kill Akami. Akami felt the fear inside her, but he knew he needed to protect her father, that feeling of protecting Akashi filled her with a burning feeling. Akami then opened her eyes while her flames like aura surrounded her while the lines in her body started to shine. Akami felt Amaterasu's aura running through her body, then she placed her paws on the ground sending pillars of flames to Daisuke burning him slightly. Daisuke receded in pain, but when he could realize what was happening, Akami was already an inch in front of him with a flaming fist impacting the evil wolf on the stomach. Akami then concentrated her aura on the palm of her hand, but she couldn't control such strength, but then Akashi stood up and placed his hands on Akami's hand controlling the aura creating a sphere of flaming aura.
"Akami, do it." Akashi said smiling to her
Akami smiled to her father feelings her father's aura running through her and the lover Akashi gave to her all this years, causing the sphere to increase even more. Akami then glared at Daisuke and shouted. "Take this… SHAKUNETSU KYU!" Then Akami threw the sphere directly to Daisuke impacting him on his right arm, burning part of it.
Daisuke grabbed his arm in pain, and then glared at Akami knowing he was no match for the girl, he darted to Marceline and took her out of there, but before he could leave he shouted. "This is not the end Akashi, I will return with the Council of Hell with me and you will not be able to stop me, this time the forces of evil will win."
Akashi stood up and watched how Daisuke left, and then he fainted over his daughter's arms. Akami smiled at Akashi and then asked everyone else to help her to take her father to the Jade Palace.
Back at the Jade Palace
Akashi started to wake up, and when he opened his eyes he found Miyo, his son Takamoto, Akami, and Deia standing by his bed and noticing her just woke up.
"Oh my Akashi I thought I was about to lose you." Miyo said hugging and kissing her husband.
"Daddy is you okay." Takamoto said hugging her father and trying to make him feel better.
Akashi groaned as he sat on his bed and said. "I'm okay, just a bit tired"
"Akashi, Akami told us what you did, I know you miss her, I also miss her, but she made her decision and you must let her go" Miyo said trying to calm her husband.
"Is that… I can't let her go just like that; I don't want her to make the same mistake I did." Akashi said with some tears on his face
Akami couldn't understand what was happening so she said. "Can someone tell me what happened between Marceline and my father?"
Akashi turned at Akami and sighed, he knew he couldn't hide it anymore. "Akami, I must tell you the truth to you, to your brother, to everyone…" Akashi said emphasizing in everyone since he knew everyone was behind the door hearing what was happening. "Marceline is my daughter, not natural, but I adopted her."
Everyone was amazed when they heard those words, then everyone kept hearing Akashi's explanation. "It was a dark night at the Valley of darkness, I went there in a mission to stop some hordes of daemons coming to the valley of light, and there I found her, and little female cub abandoned by her own father, left to her own luck, surrounded by daemons, I couldn't do anything else but to safe her." Akashi said remembering the day he found Marceline. "At first my idea was to finish my mission and take that girl to that orphanage, but then I noticed how were alike, regretted by the people and left to our luck, then I started to take care of her and started liking her, so I decided to adopt her."
"But then what happened, why she is with Daisuke." Takami asked his friend.
Akashi sighed since the memory still pained his heart. "It was this same day, her birthday, she was seven that day, me and Miyo was going to celebrate her birthday at the tower, but then Daisuke appeared claiming for her daughter… At first I refused, but then Marceline stood up and stopped the fight, and she decided to go with Daisuke, that day I lost her forever."
Akami was a bit confused since she didn't remember anything of what her father said. "Then why I don't remember Marceline living with us."
"You were too young to remember, but you and Marceline used to be great sisters." Akashi said turning to her daughter.
"Great sisters" Akami said trying to remember something but nothing.
"Don't worry about that Akami, I guess I can't bring her back, she made her decision." Akashi said standing up. "Now we must focus on training, Daisuke is bringing his council of hell, a powerful group with the leaders of the Daemon's clan, so he must become stronger Akami; you will start training with the members of the Heavenly council to learn their special techniques so you can defeat the Council of Hell… The rest of you are going to train harder to improve your techniques, you are a team after all, the Heavenly Warriors."
"Alright father." Akami said ready to start her training.
"You can bet it boss" Nami said with Sora, Fate, and Gen at her side.
"We are on it Master." Takashi said with his siblings behind him.
"Then we will fight Daisuke, like the family we are." Akashi said smiling to everyone.
Meanwhile at the Hell's Gate
Marceline was starting to wake up, so she opened her eyes and sat on her bed only to find she was on her room all alone. "They forgot it, again." Marceline said remembering all the birthdays Daisuke forgot. Marceline walked to her drawer and saw her nude body on the mirror and just glared at the purple lines on her body and then she noticed on her reflection a giant purple wolf behind her.
Marceline then turned around and saw a present on her bed; she didn't know who gave her the present, since nobody celebrated her birthday. Marceline walked to the colorful box and read a letter beside it.
"Even if you don't want me as you father, even if you forgot what we had together, I still love you my little girl, I love you with all my heart… my little baby"
P.S. "I know you will like your gift, I made sure it had your favorite color"
Marceline couldn't believe someone gave her a gift, and then she realized who gave her the gift; she also realized she had a family waiting for her and a father that truly loved her. Marceline then opened the box and took a purple and grey high collared coat, and then she hugged the coat tightly remembering the days she had with Akashi.
"Father, I'm sorry for what I did, I also love you with all my heart, Akashi… my dear father."
