(AN) Hey everyone! Kyuubisgal here! Has it really been two years since I updated? I really didn't mean for it to be so long.

Yoru: Where the heck have you been!?

KG: busy doing stuff. I can't help my obsessions. They cycle through. And I haven't seen Shugo Chara in like three years, so I had to do research on some of the characters.

Ikuto: Yeah whatever

KG: On with the story! I don't own anything except Yumi and Amu and Tadase's biological parents.

Amu and Tadase were born nearly identical twins to a rich and well-known family. They had been close friends with the Tsukiyomi's and the Fujisaki's. Unfortunately, the twins were torn apart after a house fire took their parents when they were six. The twins had been raised as musical prodigies and thus, Amu played violin, piano, flute, guitar (bass and electric), and cello, while Tadase played viola, guitar (bass and electric), and piano/keyboard.

##########Saturday############

"That sounds beautiful, you guys!" exclaimed Midori, from the other side of the recording studio glass, startling Amu and Tadase and causing both of them to jump.

"Mama!" exclaimed Amu. "How long have you been standing there?"

"I walked in as you picked up your guitar. I hope you don't mind, but I hit record and recorded the entire thing. Of course, I turned it off before saying anything," said Midori. Amu put her guitar back on the stand and Tadase stood up before the two of them ran out of the recording studio and over to the equipment. They placed the large headphones near their ears and Amu pressed play, allowing the two to listen to their music. Once the music stopped playing, the two layed down the headphones and looked at each other.

"Awesome," they said simultaneously before giggling a little. Amu looked up at Midori and Tadase followed her gaze. (I forgot what song I used when I originally did this, so I had to go back and find it. The song is Magical Mirror by Len and Rin)

"Mama, was there a reason you came down here?" she asked.

"Yeah. You have a phone call. The girl on the other end sounds a bit panicked," Midori answered, handing Amu the phone. The girl in turn shooed the woman, who responded by leaving the room.

"Hello?" the pinkette asked.

"Amu? We have a big problem."

"Utau? Is that you?" Amu asked.

"Yeah, it's me."

"What's the problem?"

"My boss has ordered Ikuto to capture you. Or rather, he's ordered Ikuto to capture Rin. I don't really know what they've done to him, but I do know that in this state, he won't disobey our boss's orders. If he sees you, or Rin, he will not hesitate to kidnap you," Utau stated in a hushed tone.

"That's not good. So what do you suggest I do? Not walk around as Rin?" Amu asked.

"I think that would be best until we can stop Ikuto. Oh. I have to go now. Bye," said Utau quickly before hanging up.

"Well….Bye?" said Amu, a bit taken back by the sudden hang up.

"What was that about?" asked Tadase.

"No idea."

**************Monday, After School****************************************

The Guardians and their charas were outside, watering the flowers in the school's gardens. "Hey Amu….Rin?" asked Rima. "Wait, what do we call you guys?" she asked. Everyone paused what they were doing and looked over. The twins shared a look and giggled.

"Just call us Tadase and Amu. It's a lot easier to act as though nothing happened rather than explain to the entire school that we're really twins," said Tadase.

"We might come out with it eventually, but not yet," said Amu. "Did you have another question, Rima?"

"Yeah. So Tadase has that one strand of hair that sticks out, right?"

"Yeah. What about it?" asked Tadase, tilting his head to the side.

"Do you have one Amu? I mean, do you have that one hair that sticks up?" Rima asked, miming as she spoke. Amu giggled and nodded.

"Yes I do have a hair that does that. I believe it's called an ahoge. It's why I normally wear a part of my hair up, to keep it from showing," said Amu, setting down her watering can and pulling the red x-clip out of her hair, allowing a long, thin piece of hair to flip out in front and hang in her face. It looked almost exactly like Tadase's, but pink with a little bit of blonde near the roots.

Tadase leaned over to whisper into Amu's ear. "Hey. I just remembered. Weren't we going to ask Nagi about that thing?" Amu made a shocked face before it fell into one of sadness.

"I forgot," Amu whispered back.

"That's okay. I did too." The other guardians stared at the two once they realized they were whispering.

"Whatcha talkin about?" asked Yaya.

"Nothing really important," said Tadase. Suddenly, the charas all jumped up from where they were playing and flew over to the Guardians.

"X-eggs! A whole bunch of them!" exclaimed Kiseki. The Guardians all quickly charanari'd with their respective chara except for Amu. Tadase quickly stopped her and pointed up at the sky where Death Rebel stood in the middle of the swarm of x-eggs.

"Remember the other day. He's after you," stated Platinum Royale. "He's trying to distract us."

"Are you sure? Utau said he would be after Rin," she whispered so to not distract the others.

"Didn't you tell him you're Rin?"

"Yeah…. I guess you're right. What are we going to do? You need me to purify the eggs."

"I'll keep him distracted and warn you if he gets past me."

"Okay. Charanari: Amulet Heart!" Amulet Heart sped into the sky on her heart speeders and uses her Heart Rod to paralyze a few of the eggs. Death Rebel quickly targeted her. Platinum Royale shot at him with Holy Crown, effectively causing him to focus his attack on Platinum Royale. The other Guardians helped Amulet Heart by using their own individual attacks to gather the x-eggs, and she was able to purify several eggs at once, but there were too many altogether. Once she used Open Heart to purify a few, all of the eggs would scatter again.

"This is ridiculous!" exclaimed Clown Drop as she once again used Tightrope Dancer to tie up a group of x-eggs.

"I agree," stated Amu, dropping her transformation. "Yumi!"

"Here ~nya!" shouted the cat chara.

"My heart, unlock! Charanari: Melody Neko!" Amu transformed with Yumi, attracting Death Rebel's attention. Platinum Royal was struggling to keep him from attacking her. "Violin!" The violin appeared in Melody Neko's hands and she began to play a soft melody, quickly gaining the x-egg's attention.

"I can't hold him much longer!" shouted Platinum Royal, doing his best to hold off Death Rebel.

Melody Neko's song brought the x-eggs closer to her, some were entranced by her song, while the others rejected it, shooting negative energy at her, which she easily entranced x-eggs were quickly purified, while the stubborn ones continued to fight and shoot negative energy at her and her friends. The song began to change tempo, luring the remaining x-eggs into a trance.

Seeing that Melody Neko had the x-eggs under control, the other Guardians ran over to help Platinum Royal fight Death Rebel. As they came closer to the fighting duo, Death Rebel swiftly knocked Platinum Royal to the ground, causing him to fall unconscious. One by one, the Guardians were knocked out, leaving only Death Rebel and Melody Neko.

She had just finished purifying the last of the x-eggs when she noticed that her friends were nowhere to be seen and Death Rebel was closing in on her. She fought him for several minutes before exhaustion finally caught up with her and her transformation fell, leaving the pinkette defenseless against the blue-haired teen. He swooped her up and threw her over his shoulder, before running off towards the Easter company, Amu weakly fighting back the entire way.
