Hermione watched amazed at the Puddlemere quidditch team as they all began to simultaneously drop down, brooms in hand, before beginning to run on foot. Sure she'd seen Harry and Ron at Hogwarts but it seemed professional teams were on a new level.

"They're amazing," Yulisa said in awe, not able to take her eyes off them.

"Dad's amazing," Ollie nodded in complete agreement. He was definitely going to convince his dad to take him flying.

At his comment, Hermione's eyes drifted back to Oliver Wood. Merlin the guy was gorgeous and fit… and she was married to him. But at the moment she was starting to wonder if he even human? He was barely sweating and not out of breathe at all compared to his teammates that looked ready to die any minute.

As they all began to take flight, Hermione took out the biography of Harry and began to read, red quill in hand to mark inaccuracies that she was bound to find... if this author was anything like the others before. She had a feeling that this would go on for some time. Yulisa followed her example but Ollie kept on watching the players suffer through their punishment.

Oliver had seen Hermione and the kids as soon as they came in and all of him wanted to go and greet them immediately and steal a kiss from his wife. But as captain, he couldn't do that… not when he was the one who decided the punishment. If he wanted the team to work together- well whatever punishment he decided, he needed to commit too or there'd be ire and his teammates would not respect him as their captain.

"You're the bloody devil himself," Flint wheezed as they finally finished their last lap on foot before falling to his knees.

"I don't like him, but I have to agree with him this once." James muttered as he fell flat on his back.

There were mutters of agreement as every player fell down where they were.

"I thought marriage and a wife would mellow him," Jeremy Print wheezed.

Despite himself, Oliver couldn't help but grin. They really thought that?

"You know, you should at least thank us, we did inadvertently get you two together." Cody Cormac muttered.

"You know what inadvertently means?" James joked, looking at Cody, his usual partner in crime.

"You know what," Cody said before jumping James in a play wrestle causing everyone to laugh as the two tumbled briefly before just as quickly, stopping and muttering cramps.

"Water." The two wheezed, both lying on their backs, giving up already.

"Accio..." Summer Dawson began but before she finished water bottles popped up beside each player.

"Who?" One of the players asked as James began to chug his bottle.

"Hello," Oliver said as he flew up to them at last. Practice was finally over and he could let his captain's title second.

Before Hermione or Yulisa could say anything in return, Ollie launched himself at Oliver. "That was amazing, you're unbelievable. You have to take me with you." He rushed out all at once.

"Okay kiddo," Oliver laughed as he stepped onto the stadium, getting off his broom. "I can always take you flying, no matter what. You just have to say when."

Ollie's face froze momentarily, a small look of vulnerability on his face.

Hermione's gaze softened even more as her heart seemed to stop and then start to beat rapidly.

"Is now, okay?" Ollie asked almost hesitantly despite Oliver's previous statements, looking down.

"I don't see why not." Oliver shrugged good naturedly. "What about you Yulisa, do you want to come with us?" Oliver asked as he knew the two children were very close.

Yulisa quickly shook her head. "I'll stay with Miss Hermione."

"Sounds like a plan." Oliver smiled before setting his broom in takeoff position. "Let's get you on up." Ollie said as he jumped on the broom and swooped up Ollie.

"We will see the both of you in ten minutes."

"Okay," Hermione smiled.

The two females watched as the flying pair got smaller upon ascending.

"You're such a good girl," Hermione murmured as she hugged Yulisa.

"They need to spend time, the two of them…"

"I know, but I also know you want to be up there."

Yulisa smiled as she looked up at Hermione. "I'll wait for dad to take me flying. Ollie needs to spend some time, father and son with Mr. Oliver."

Hermione bent down and kissed the top of Yulisa's head. "Mhmm." She murmured in agreement. Ollie had no problems calling Hermione, Mum, he'd almost immediately done so since the first day he was adopted. But he hesitated greatly with calling Oliver, his father…

"It was your mum wasn't it, who cast the spell to get everyone water."

"Yeah, she did. She sent a protronus to Rinny to get the water bottles and then kept them cold with a spell until everyone was done. She's incredible."

"She really is." Oliver agreed. "I don't know what I did to deserve the both of you in my life…"

Ollie grinned as he felt the arms around him hod him a little tighter.

"How about we do some loops and dives before we head back to your mum?"

On cue, Hermione let out a gasp before yelling her husband's name loudly to announce her disapproval upon the first time they went upside down.

"This is not what I meant when I told you all to eat a good big and healthy dinner after practice."

"Don't know what you mean Cap." Thomas Maine said as he sneaked a bite of his duck.

"Rinny, sit down. They're all grown ups, they can get their own food." He told his house elf who was still bringing out plates for the rest of the team.

"No, this is what Rinny lives for. To serve the Mister and misses, their wee ones, and friends of the family." Rinny sniffed proudly to be able to do her job properly. Mr. Oliver so rarely had things for Rinny to do, she had to busy herself with polishing all the armor in the castle until she could see her reflection.

"Rinny, sit." Oliver slid a chair between the Doyle twins. Danny patted the chair.

"I'll finish serving everyone. You cooked all this food. Sit down with your family and let us finish serving." Oliver sighed.

Hermione looked on, her heart clenching for a moment at the touching scene… this was the relationship she had been trying to envision when she started her crusade for S.P.E.W. all those years ago.

"Yeah, there's the captain spirit!" James Palay said.

"Palay, shut your yap and come here and carry the potatoes you lug."

"He's starting to sound more like Reins, everyday, isn't he?" Jeremy Print cracked up, leading the rest of the team minus Summer and Flint to join in with their own laughter.

"Who is Reins?" Yulisa asked sweetly as she brought the rolls to the table. She took one before passing it to Ollie.

"Their captain before… Dad." Ollie said taking his roll before passing it to Cody Cormac.

The older player took a roll before ruffling the young boy's hair. "You sure know your quidditch don't you?"

"Yep!" Ollie grinned.

"You really are your dad's kid, you know that?" He affectionately said to the boy who had the given name of their captain.

Ollie beamed at them.

"Rinny should put the pies in the oven now!" Rinny said, standing on her seat, making her the same height as the rest to them.

"Nope, James and I just put in the apple short bread pie and the Tofee pudding." Oliver said coming out with the butter beer and James with the ginormous bowl of potatoes.

"Rinny you're the best!" Ollie said as the apple short bread pie was his favorite. One of the last memories that he had from his birth parents before the war.

"Thank you Little Mister Oliver," The house elf replied with a blush. Half the table cracked up at the name she had given the youngest boy at the table.

"Yes, thank you Rinny. As for the rest of you lot. One butter beer. I will be watching, so don't try to sneak another past me. We do have the first game this weekend. Rules of inebriation will be very strict until after the game. After, all of you can wind up on the side of the alley passed out for all I care."

"Awe, Captain, the love you have for us, is overwhelming." David Doyle said dramatically.

"Same goes for you, Danny. You might not be playing but you're gonna adhere to the team rules. If you pass out on the side of the alley, I'll make an exception for you by taking your crutches and bringing them back the next morning so they don't get stolen in the night."

"Your heart is magnanimous," Danny mocked bowed at Oliver and his words, though the grin on his lips spoke the truth. It really did make him happy that despite his injury, Oliver still treated him like he was on the team and nothing had changed.

Everyone laughed again, even Flint despite himself. Yeah he hated Wood with all his heart, but even he had to admit, sitting here at dinner at the Wood residence's dining room, that Oliver Wood was a good captain. He took care of his team and made sure that the team felt like family, and those who didn't have a family of their own, were free to share his… Flint sneaked a peek at Hermione Granger, well Wood now as she and the rest of the team were keen on reminding him. She ate with one hand as the other rest on Oliver's thigh, holding her husband's hand, the two engaging the players in conversation.

Rinny hummed happily to herself as she washed the dishes clean, whilst her family said goodbye to the team.

"Rinny, why don't you leave those dishes and have another slice of apple shortbread pie with Yulia and me?" Ollie asked, peeking into the kitchen.

Rinny looked over at the little Mister before she casted a spell for the dishes to clean themselves. The spell wasn't nearly as good as cleaning by hand, oneself but Rinny rather spend time with the young mister and his friend than do dishes. It reminded her of when Master Oliver was young… oh how she hoped Master Oliver and Mistress Hermione had a baby soon. She was after all specially trained as a House Nurse Elf.
