Previously on Make It Count:
- "Okay... Here is the news. I'm sorry to tell you all, but Ally... she has cancer. "
-Everyone- "what?"
No ones POV
-Ally- "I-I what?"
- "I'm sorry to tell you ally but it's true. And unfortunately we do not have any possible way to treat this."
-Austin- "But how is this even possible?" *tears up*
- "Come with me, I will explain it all"
Everyone now has tears streaming down there eyes as they follow to a small room where everyone can talk. Everyone walks into the room and sits down. Ally is on the couch next to her mom and austin. Lester is next to penny. Trish and Dez are on a smaller couch across from them and in between is a table. is on a chair facing both couches.
- "Okay, this is what happened. Ally, the animal that attacked you was a rare shelaviba shark. There are only 10 in the whole world. When it bit your ankle and pulled you under, it was trying to get your blood. Well after it got what it wanted It did put a venom inside of your ankle. This venom gave you a rare cancer known as type 3 HWRS shelaviba cancer. (A/N: this is all fake stuff guys, this shark doesn't exist, and neither does the cancer... But I had to make up something to make the story go on) after this venom of it into your ankle it put you into a state of unconsciousness, therefore if it weren't for austin here" *gestures to austin* "you wouldn't be alive because there would have been no way for you to swim. Also the mouth to mouth kept you alive because of the water that blocked your lungs. You are very lucky. Unfortunately there is some more bad news. Ally I'm sorry, but you only have 6 months to live."
Everyone was just crying for the next hour, they all had to take this in.
Ally's POV
Dear songbook,
It's been 3 days since I found out the news. We have already told everyone, and all I've been getting lately are fruit baskets, cards, and random phone calls from relatives. I cry everyday, it's just so hard for me And my family, and all my friends. I just can't believe this is happening to me. My mom said that I need to come downstairs now though because we need to talk. I guess I have to go. I'll write in you later, and sorry about all the tear drops on your pages.
-Ally
I walked downstairs to my living room to see the rest of team austin, and my parents on the couch. Trish Dez and austin looked horrible. I was shocked. There was an open seat on the couch next to austin, he patted it gesturing for me to sit down. I sat down next to him as he put his arm around me. I leaned into his chest and he kissed my head. But I still didn't understand why we were all here.
"Okay kids I bet you're all wondering why I Brought you here." My mom said as if she were reading my mind.
End of POV
-Penny- "Listen kids, I brought you here simply to get a little something into your heads. All of you have obviously been getting barley any sleep, and crying non stop. But how is that going to help anything? It's not. You all need to realize that although what has happened to ally is disappointing you need to live life to its fullest. Ally before that 6 months is up you need to do everything that you have on your bucket list, you need to realize you have to have a little fun before your time is up." *starts tearing up a little* it's okay to cry, to let it all out but you also need to forget about it and have some fun. And all of your friends can help you to get out there and have the best time ever. Every single second of the next four months reneeds to count, and it's up to you four to make it count!"
-Team austin- *Thinks* wow I never thought of it like that.
-Austin- "ally, your mom is right! We all need to make these next 6 months the best they can be! And I have the perfect way to start! Meet me here at 7 tonight?"
-Ally- *Hesitates but finally nods*
-Austin- "Yes!" *Picks up ally and spins her around...AGAIN*
-Trish- "That was so inspirational! You are so right penny! Thanks!" *hugs penny*
-Dez- "Yeah I will definitely go by yolo now! And I'll make sure to tell my turtle too!" *hugs penny*
Dez leaves. Trish and ally go up to ally's room to get ready for tonight. Penny goes to the kitchen. Austin stays to talk to lester.
Austin's POV
"Mr. Dawson can I talk to you about something" I ask nervously
"Sure bud, whatcha need?"
"Well, you may or may not know, but I am dating ally now... And Before we continue, I want to make sure you are okay with it"
"Austin... It's about time! It's so obvious the two of you have liked each other for so long! You complete me have my blessing."
"Thank you so much sir" I hugged him. I was so excited! I began to leave to go get ready for me and ally's date to night when I heard some one call my name.
"Austin wait!" I turned around
"What is it Mr. Dawson?" I asked
"Call me lester" he said.
"Will do. See you later lester."
Ally's POV
"Okay what about this?" I asked Trish holding up a red dress.
"No, too dressy... Austin said not to casual but not too dressy." Trish replied "ooh how about these brown combat boots, this these mint green jeans, this gold and white sparkly shirt, and this treble clef necklace!"
"OH MY GOSH TRISH YOU'RE A GENIUS" I shouted. I went into the bathroom and changed. Then trish did my hair the way I always do and did my makeup, not to much. Only a little to make it look natural. Soon we heard a knock on the door. I looked at my alarm clock, 7:00PM right on time. I walked down stairs.
"I want full detail when you get back!" Trish shouted as I ran down the steps.
When I got down I saw austin standing there in a red v-neck tshirt with black jeans and his chain. Plus his dog whistle necklace he was looking more attractive then ever. But the thing that caught my eye was the rose that austin was holding. Its my favorite kind. The strawberry hill rose, it's the perfect shade of pink and every pedal is gorgeously shaped. I just love it so much... And it might happen to also be known as the austin rose. {1}
"Hey, you look beautiful he said. Umm this is for you" he hands me the rose. I felt my cheeks heating up.
"Thank you" I replied.
"Shall we?" He asked as he offered his arm.
"We shall" I giggled and replied. The I looped my arm through his, grabbed my wristlet and we walked out the door to his car.
Austin's POV
We walked out to the car and I opened the door for her like a gentleman. I walked around to the other side of the car and let myself in, I started the car and pulled out of ally's driveway. I knew exactly where were going.
15 minutes later we arrived at the beach. I grabbed her hand and yanked her towards our destination. We had to go fast or we were gonna miss it!
"Austin where are we going?" She giggled as we ran along the shore.
"It's a surprise but we have to hurry or we are going to miss it"
Ally's POV
Where is he taking me? Oh this is so horrible, I hate surprises. But I'm so excited at the same time. Austin is just so amazing. I stopped running and stopped thinking as we came up to an old light house. What?
"Austin why are we-"
"Just follow me!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the other side. He's been doing that a lot lately. Not that I mind.. I like when he touches my hand. It gives me butterfly's. Good butterflies...
"Austin how are we going to get in?" He reached into the plant by the door and grabbed an old key. He used it to open the door. And to no surprise it opened right up. I looked at him with confusion.
"My uncle owns this lighthouse and when I was little I used to love to come here all the time to play while my parents were at work. So I would come here with my uncle. Well then as I got older and I didn't need my uncle to come here with me anymore but I still wanted to come. So he showed me where the key was." He answered my unspoken question.
"Ohhhh cool"
"Yeah whatever lets go!"
We ran up about 50 flights of stairs until we reach the top. There was no roof so when you looked up all you saw was the gorgeous sky. I looked to my left to ask austin why we were here but he wasn't next to me any more. I looked all around me and saw him infront of me at the edge of the lighthouse looking at something. I walked up to him.
"There it is" he spoke mesmerized.
"Austin what are you looking-" I couldn't even finish my sentence because I was caught by the breathtaking view in front of me. Right in front of us was the perfect view of the beach, the water slowly washing up to the shore, the distant sounds of birds and crickets, but the most beautiful of all was the gorgeous sun setting. The perfect mix of purple, orange, yellow, and red, all blended together to create the most wonderful view I have ever seen.
"That" he said.
We just stood there for 20 minutes watching the sunset. It was... Perfect.
After that we lied down on the roof of the lighthouse just peacefully staring at the stars. And at that perfect moment nothing mattered, not that I had cancer or that these were going to be the last 6 months of my life. All that mattered was right there and right then. Nothing else.
"Ally," austin interrupted our comfortable silence, "I just want to tell you that I think you are the most amazing girl in the world. Not to mention the most beautiful. I can't believe that you are my girlfriend now but I'm so happy that you are... I love you"
I was shocked... I heard him say it while I was in a coma... But it's so different when he says it to my face. "Oh austin," I said "I love you too." And then when I didn't think the moment could get any more perfect he started to lean in. And his lips crashed against mine, our lips moved perfectly in sinc. It was amazing and I couldn't be more happy.
The rest of the night we lied on a blacker looking up at the stars. Naming what we saw in the constellations. It was amazing, it was, wonderful,
Ausllys POV
It was perfect.
A/N sorry it's past 11... In my time haha mayb not in pacific time... Lolz but there's chapter 10! OMG THIS CHAPTER WAS HUGE! ally has 6 months to live, that huge inspirational speech by penny, AUSLLY SHARED "I LOVE YOU"S AND THEIR FIRST KISS! AHHHHHHHHHH. More coming up tomorrow!
