Korra's POV:

"You're going on a date...with Mako?"

"Yes." I answered into my phone.

"So you're telling me that he has finally grown some balls and asked you out?"

"Yes that's what I'm saying."

"With roses? In front of your door? Eye to eye?"

"Eye to eye, Sami"

"AHHHH! How can you be so calm about this, I don't understand you at all? This is the most romantic thing a person could think off. Definitely if that person is a boy and you're so calm about it!" I held the phone a good distant away from my ear and waited till Asami was done with screaming. When she was I placed my phone back to my ear.

"I already screamed the ears off my mom earlier. Now you're doing the exact same thing with me. " I chuckled.

"I don't care! He asked you out!" Asami screamed in to the phone.

"Sami! You need to stop yelling in the phone. I can hear you with or without yelling."

"I told you that he likes you!.You should trust me more often. So, when is it? Where is it?" She eagerly asked.

"uhm, tonight and I don't know where. It's a surprise , I guess." I shrugged my shoulders.

" I bet it's going to be amazing.-" I heard someone calling out Asami's name from a distant. "Kor, my dad's calling for me, need to go. I'll speak to you later. Keep in mind that I want to hear every little detail. Bye" Asami happily said.

"Bye." I said after she already had hung up. I placed my phone in my pocket and walked to my closet to find an outfit that would be good enough for tonight's date.

Mako texted me earlier today to tell me that he'd pick me up around 6PM and to dress casual. So I assume that we aren't going to a fancy place. Were I'm completely fine with. I'm not the type for fancy things anyways, so it doesn't bother me at all.

I putted on the outfit I chose and applied some mascara and eyeliner that makes my blue eyes pop out more and let my hair drop lose over my shoulders. I take a look at the clock on the wall, seeing that I've thirty more minutes till Mako is here to pick me up. Let's hope that I don't mess this date up.

-30 minutes skip -

The bell rang. I stood up from my seat in the living room and took a deep breath before walking to the front door and opening it. In front of me stands a casual dressed up Mako with one rose this time. he smiles and gives me the rose.

"One rose this time, what happened with the others?" I joked when I took the rose from him.

"I wasn't sure if I needed to get you a dozen of them again or none, so I just took one." He rubs the back of his head.

"I was just joking." I laughed. " I'll put this one with the others then, before it dies. I'll be right back. Stay right here, don't go anywhere. " I smiled and slowly backed up to the kitchen and placed the rose in between the others. I take a last glance at them and walked back to where Mako is.

"You're ready?" He asked.

"I think I am." I smiled and closed the front door behind me.

"So where are you taking me?" I looked at Mako.

"that's a surprise. If I told you now it wouldn't be a surprise anymore and we wouldn't want that, do we? He showed me a cocky smile before taking my hand in his and swinging them slightly in-between both of us.

I softly squeezed his hand. "Could you please tell me where we are going?" I eagerly asked , batting my eyelashes.

He shakes his head and let out a small chuckle."Are you trying to seduce me?"

I batted my eyelashes again and added my famous pout. "Maybe. It depends on if it's working or not?.

"Believe me it does." he mumbled. Probably thinking that I didn't hear him saying it. But I did. There was this uncomfortable silence for a limited time. Luckily it ended when we arrived at...I looked up at the sign above the building.

"RC bowling?" I read out loud. I turn to Mako with a confused look on my face and raised an eyebrow. " You're taking me to bowl on our first date?"

He looked at the side and rubbed his head with his free hand, considering that we were still holding hands. Not that I minded. Nope. Not at all. " I know that this isn't exactly 'first date' material but I thought that it would be nice to try something different." I smiled.

"It's perfect. But I need to warn you. I never ever bowled in my entire life."

"Really? Wow, I never assumed that you never bowled. Common it's fun. I'll help you out." He pulls me into his side and walked us inside the building.

"Wow." I breathed out.

"Pretty impressive huh?"

"You can say that." I took a look around. There were 6 ally's at each side. You could hear the ball hitting the bowling pins, laughter from players, Someone yelling 'STRIKE' and cheering after that. There're bowling balls in every colour you can imagine. Let's not forget about how many people there are. Bartenders are walking around with drinks that a group of players must have ordered. Kids are running after each other,... Too much is happening to describe.

"Let's go!" I chirped excitedly and pulled Mako after me to the cash register. Receiving a chuckle from him.

"Slow down Kor, It's not like the bowling balls are going to run away or should I say roll away." He winks.

"What was that?" I laughed.

"I was trying to be funny. Bolin told me I should try it, so I did and it looks like I failed miserable." Mako faked a hurt face.

"Well let's say you need to work on those but here's your award for at least trying to be funny." I quickly placed a kiss on his mouth before I looked down to my feet and tried to hide my red face. Mako's hand lifted up my face. He looks deeply in my eyes, leans in and before my mind can register what's happening he connected our lips together. And may I tell you. He's a great kisser. We both smiled into the kiss that lasted for a good amount of time before slowly parting. He lets his hands glide over my arms and takes both of my hands in his before intertwining our fingers together.

"You want believe for how long I wanted to do 'that'." He smiles.

"Do what? I can't remember doing anything, maybe you should remind me?" I shyly smiled and looked up to him.

"Maybe I should but first let's go bowling."

"I shook my head, " Let's." and Smiled.

Mako paid for one turn, saying that we had something else scheduled for the night. Great another surprise.

"Okay so, you put your fingers here in those three holes in the ball. Got it?" Mako explained.

"Got it. What's next?"

"Well, now you take a small run to the ally or just walk till you're in front of the line. it depends on how you want to do it but pro's run to the ally. When you reaches the line you let go of the ball like this. " Mako stepped behind me, his chest pushing against my back, his head next to mine and takes a hold on the ball with me.

I turn my head his way. " I don't mind 'this' at all." he laughs and swings the ball and fort.

"On three we run, okay?" He asked.

"Okay."

"One, two,...three!" we both ran at a slow pace before letting the ball go. The Ball rolls and rolls...

Mako's arms sneaked a way around my waist and I leaned into his chest, still watching as mine...I mean our ball rolls and roll over all the pins.

"STRIKE! Woohoo!" We screamed. He tilled me up from the floor before spinning me around a couple of times.

"You're a natural at this." he said after he placed me back on my feet.

"it's because I've this amazing, handsome teacher who learned me how to bowl."I gave him a fast kiss and freed myself out of his arms.

"I bet you're never going to defeat me now." I winked.

"let's see about that."

We walked out the building, laughing, hand in hand.

"I can't believe you defeated me." Mako said amused.

"I can. Because I kicked your ass just seconds ago." I stick out my tong.

"I just went easy on you." Mako grins.

I shoved him to the side."You didn't. You were trying so hard to defeat me."

"Are you sure that you never bowled before because back there-" Mako points to the building we just came from." didn't look like you never played?"

"I swear." I held up my hands to prove I'm innocent. "This was the first time."

"I believe you, this time." He takes my hand back in his and starts walking again.

"So there will be a next time?" I looked up to him.

"This date isn't over yet but I hope there will be a next time.-" He grins before stopping in the centre of the parking lot and giving me a kiss on the mouth. I kiss back right away. We broke the kiss and he leaned his forehead against mine. " Because I really like spending time and kissing with you." I could feel his breath on my lip when he said that. We both smiled before giving each other another kiss.
