Chapter 10
Summary: The Alliance help a Special Forces covert team deal with a notorious crime boss that's dealing in shipment with the Britannia Knights.
In an abandoned factory in Caracas, Venezuela, many armed criminal men are shipping new weapons in their disguised delivery trucks.
Leading them is a big-time, obese Caracas crime lord named Vince DeCarto.
"Come on! We need to ship these weapons by sundown!" DeCarto hollered, in Venezuela language.
Watching them from above were Special Forces Sergeant David Woods and Private Sandman with a squad of 8 men. An Alliance team comprised of Gray, Sanji, Blake, Karma, Kanzaki and Sugaya alongside Qrow were sent to back them up.
"So this chubby is the crime boss?" Gray asked.
"Yep." Woods replied.
"So we gonna go in and blast them all?" Karma asked.
"Only you would love to say that." Sanji and Blake thougth in unison, deadpanned.
"I was joking." Karma said.
Sugaya and Chiba sighed.
"Why did they have to put him on this team?" Sugaya and Kanzaki asked in unison.
"Let's do this stealthily and without causing collateral damage." Sandman explained.
"So long as your bad luck charm doesn't affect the mission, Qrow." Gray explained.
"Nah. I think it's gonna come in real handy" Qrow said.
Most of the team were wildly confused.

The armed gunmen continued loading dangerous weapons onto the trucks.
Suddenly, two of the trucks tires went flat, surprising the men.
"What the hell?!" An armed gunman asked, in Caracas language.
"The tires went flat!" Another gunman hollered, in Caracas language.
"Fix it!" A third gunman hollered, in Caracas language.
The men began to find their supplies for anything that can pump the air back into the tires.
"Who dares foil my operations?" DeDarto asked, smoking a cigarette.
An arrow was suddenly shot to the ground, exploding on contact and blowing up the truck.
"What the hell?!" DeCarto exclaimed.
Several soldiers prepare to be on guard.
Woods and Sandman threw some flashbangs, blinding all enemies.
In the blinding light, all the men were getting knocked down or tied up.
Once the light disappeared, every gang member were wrapped up by the Alliance-Special Forces unit.
DeCarto was soon held at gunpoint from behind by Woods.
"It's over, DeCarto. You're under arrest." Woods explained.
DeCarto growled before giving a small smirk.
"Oh really?" DeCarto asked.
"What do you mean?" Woods asked.
DeCarto quickly grabbed something out of his pocket and activated a button.
"Uh, what did he just press?" Sugaya asked.
One of the undamaged trucks exploded, revealing a mechanized beetle with energy pincers.
The Alliance and Special Forces members were completely surprised.
"Did anyone see that coming?" Blake asked.
"Not since Britannia sent a gigantic beetle to DeCarto." Kanzaki replied.
"So much for avoiding collateral damage." Sandman said.
The bug activated its' wings and took flight to the skies.
Woods gritted his teeth and knocked out DeCarto.
"Men! Take these men into custody!" Woods hollered.
"Roger!" Woods' squad hollered.
"You go with them, Sergeant." Qrow said.
"Let us take care of that metallic pest." Gray said, unconsciously throwing his jacket aside.
"Keep your jacket on!" Sanji, Blake and Sugaya hollered in unison.

The Britannia Beetle began terrorizing anything in its path, forcing the civilians to quickly run for shelter.
The Alliance team and Qrow gave chase.
"This thing ain't slowing down!" Sugaya hollered.
Qrow, transformed into the bird of his namesake, managed to land on the bird unnoticed.
"We need to figure out its' weak point." Qrow said.
Qrow activated the shotgun form of Harbinger and started firing for anything that could be useful.
Gray and the others began holding back the mechanical bug to buy the veteran huntsman time.
"Let's slow this thing down with a chain attack!" Gray hollered.
"Roger that." Kanzaki said.
- Ice-Make: Ice Cannon! – Gray shouted.
- Extra Haché! – Sanji shouted.
- Gambol Shroud… Shadow Strike! – Blake shouted.
- Chain of Punishment! – Karma shouted.
- Psyche Orb! – Kanzaki shouted.
- Rocket Power! – Sugaya shouted.
Gray, Sanji, Blake, Karma, Kanzaki and Sugaya attacked the Britannia Beetle in different directions to make a dent.
The Beetle was damaged a bit, but stood strong.
"Hunk of bolts is really tough." Sanji said.
"Can't figure out a weakness, Kanzaki?" Blake asked.
"No. My telepathy doesn't work on machines." Kanzaki replied.

Steadying himself using the sword form of Harbinger from the colliding attacks, Qrow just noticed something.
There was a glowing gem on the Britannia Beetle's top head.
"So that's how it is." Qrow thought.
- Harbinger – Shotgun Shot! – Qrow shouted.
Using Harbinger's shotgun form again, Qrow repeatedly shot the gem, causing the machine to malfunction.
The Alliance members saw what Qrow did.
"Looks like Qrow-san found its weakness." Kanzaki commented.
"Blake! Karma!" Gray hollered.
"Let's take it out together!" Gray hollered.
"Right!" Blake and Karma hollered in unison.
"I wanna join Blake-chan…" Sanji muttered.
"Oh shut up." Sugaya said, twitching his eyebrow.
- Ice Blade: Seven Slice Dance! – Gray shouted.
- Ferocious Beast! – Blake shouted.
- Hellfire Maelstrom! – Karma shouted.
Gray, Blake and Karma combined their ultimate moves to take down the Britannia Beetle once and for all.
Qrow managed to fly away in time before the trio made their mark.
The beetle was about to come crashing down, but Kanzaki and Sugaya managed to stop the pieces from falling with a combination of strong telekinesis and a construct shield.
Qrow de-transformed and landed gracefully on the ground, smirking from the left side.
"And the bug gets squashed." Qrow said.

In the aftermath, the Alliance members and Qrow reunited with Woods and his squad, having rounded up all of DeCarto's men. They also brought back the scrapped parts of the Britannia Beetle for the SF to analyze.
"That's all the enemy." Woods said.
"Looks like we're done here." Gray said.
"Will you put your jacket on?" Sanji asked, in an angry manner.
"What are you – seriously?!" Gray exclaimed.
Qrow, Blake and Sugaya face palmed themselves in irritation.
"He is unbelievable." Sugaya said.
"That's Gray-san." Kanzaki said.
Karma snickered as he took a picture.
