Chapter 10

It was the typical morning in Olympus. A lot of them are having fun with their job. Athena is still getting suspicious and Zeus is well,...Zeus. Wouldn't know what he is doing. Well, Hera is with Poseidon, doing there thing. Uhh...a finally, normal day.

"Uh, Okay, Poseidon I have an idea." She said while Poseidon was looking at an image of Athena in his thoughts. She looked at him, repeated his name 10 times.

"POSEIDON!" She shouted and smacked his head. He snapped back to reality and rubbed his head.

"Huh? What...? Ouch! That hurts." She glared him.

"As I was saying, I have an idea." She glanced at him, thinking if he was listening.

"I am listening. Sheesh."

"Okay, why not...a sculpture of her with her sacred stuff. And well, with it, tell her that...what do you think of her exactly?"

"She's...beautiful, cool, caring, smart (Hera commented duh here. Earning a glare from Poseidon), peaceful...a lot actually. Like...everything." He smiled. Hera returned a smile.

"You're in love." Hera said.

"Hmm...yeah. Never really thought I would."

"I am happy for you. So, back to this. I have the picture of how it looks already. While we were talking, I drew it. If you want to add more, add some." She gave the picture to Poseidon. Poseidon scanned it and added a bit, gave it back to Hera and she draw the puzzle lines to place the marks on what to do first.

"Okay so...all in all is 42 pieces of puzzles. We need to do it for 2 weeks, starting tomorrow. 3 times a day-" Interrupted by Poseidon.

"-Brush brush brush your teeth, cavities away. Brush brush brush 3 times a day. Brush with Colga-" Poseidon sang. Earning another smack from Hera before he finishes the song.

"You are so...childish." Rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, Yeah."

"Okay, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Starting tomorrow. So we need to start the Breakfast now. So I could give it Hermes before he gives it to Athena." He nodded.

"So...let's start."

So they started to paint and design the sculpture and attach some things on it. Not much time, they had a mess but the sculpture looked beautiful.

"You're good at this. Where did you learn how to paint?" Hera asked Poseidon.

"Percy's mom paints. I saw her doing it, so I decided to try it too. So basically self-study." He replied.

It's 5pm. Hera had a thought. She forgot. She needs to go to Hephaestus and give him what the lace looks like. She stopped the thing what she was doing and looked at Poseidon.

"Poseidon. I need to just, give Hephaestus something for-for Zeus and my Anniversary. Give me a second, okay?" She said.

"Okay...1 second is up." He smirked.

"Haha. Very funny. Okay, bye." She went outside and went to Hephaestus' chamber.

Once she was in her son's chamber, she forgot to knock and opened the door.

"Hephaestus?" she called out. She scanned the room and went to his bedroom. There she saw...Shocked. Aphrodite. Bed. Naked. Hephaestus. What?

My-my wrong words, I mean Aphrodite and Hephaestus are at their bed naked and saw Hera. They stopped and covered their selves. Hera covered her eyes with her hands and turned around.

"Sorry. I am sorry, I didn't knock before I went in, I will just...go to the main room while you uh-both dress yourselves okay?"

"It's okay mother. We will be back, wait for us there." Hephaestus said. Hera went to the couch and sat down. Totally embarrassed.

After a few minutes, Hephaestus went in and Aphrodite kissed Hephaestus then left.

So, after Hephaestus went to Hera and sat with her.

"Sorry again." Hera apologized.

"It's Okay. So...what do you want to talk about?" He changed the subject.

"About what the lace looks like?"

"Oh yeah...so, you have an idea already?"

"Yeah, so here it is." She gave him a paper that was stuck in her robe.

Hephaestus looked at it in a second and nodded. "Yeah, I can do this. So, a pair?" Hera nodded.

"With an attachment? So, you could hang what you wanted in it."

Hera smiled. "Thank you Hephaestus. I need to go now. I need to finish something. See you at some time." She kissed him on the cheek and went out of the room.

When she stormed out of the room, she accidentally bumped on someone. Before she could even fall to the floor, the figure in front of her, wrapped its arms around her waist, and saved her from falling.

And it found Hera, staring at its sparkling grey eyes.

"I-I..." she couldn't speak! What is wrong with her.

"You almost fell down. You ran out our son's chamber too fast. Good thing I caught you before your head hit the tiles." He muttered, not loosening his grip from his hold on her waist.

"Sorry. I was in a hurry." Hera explained not turning out from his gaze.

"It's okay." Zeus replied, he found her eyes and stared at each other for a moment. He took her arm and wrapped it around his waist. He found his self leaning forward, curving a direction to capture her lips to his. In inches point, she turned her way to another direction, separating their direction. He stopped. Confused a bit but satisfied that it is wrong to do it with disgust.

"I am sorry. But I still need to do something. I will meet with you by 8 at the Highest Peak. Is that fine?" She asked turning her gaze back to him.

"Yes, of course." He released his hold and she backed a little further.

"Thank you, Zeus." She tipped toed and pressed her lips gently to his cheek, and teleported back to the God of the Seas chamber.

She twisted the handle and went inside.

"So are you done?" She asked Poseidon.

"Not yet. Just a little bit more. Can you helped me with it?" He asked not turning to face her.

"Sure." She replied on a smiling voice, while going towards beside him.

2 ½ hours later

She went back to her chamber to get dressed for her and Zeus' date.

She checked her time and released it is almost their due. She ran off to change and picked a solid coloured, light blue, velvet, round necked, with diamond jewels, dress. The one of my favourite dresses.

She went to her mirror, took her make up, and placed pink glittery lipstick on her lips. And added with some pink blush and some on her eyelids with pink make up. Soon after, she went to get her jewels and her high heeled shoes. The Blue Diamond shoes with 5 inch heels to match a little bit of her height with Zeus. Then took her bag, check once herself to her mirror and went out of the room to meet Zeus at the Highest Peak of the Palace.

The Highest Peak of the palace. Where Zeus shown the Heavens to his lovely Hera. His Gift for her after their marriage. Where he promised to give her everything even his heart.
