/EDIT: Hey guys I know I already posted ch 10 a long time ago but i wasn't happy with it so I wrote it over again. Hope you enjoy and I'll try and update more. PLZ Review! :D

Maroon stains blotted the floor, becoming illuminated with the yellow moon rising higher in the sky. Though even with light it seemed to not disturb the pitch black shadows crowding the small room, making its occupant stand stiff with fear as the light suddenly concentrated on the door in front of them. Dirty and bloody hands shakily reached out, as if to capture the very little light still present, but it burned. It burned hotter than the sun and the person quickly retracted they're hands. No sizzling skin or after effects were left except the blackened skin now adorning they're knuckles and fingers. "Ok, don't touch the light," she hissed in pain, slowly sinking back into the shadows.

Yet even as she did the luminescence seemed to grow, inch by inch approaching. The burning light slowly crept onto small feet and she couldn't help but scream out in pain. Surprisingly the light suddenly stopped, and a cold laugh echoed throughout the room. Magenta eyes shot up in alert, her shallow breathing the only constant noise as she struggled to find her voice. "Show yourself!" she shouted anger and pain seeping from her words. Silence, it was never a good sign. Suddenly the light splattered the whole room and even through the agonizing pain Shura saw him. She saw the Demon.

Violently she awoke, jumping up from the couch and running straight into Mephisto. The demon blade was already in her hand and pressed against his throat. To say he was caught off guard would be an understatement, but the surprise was replaced by the same old smirk as he raised his hands. "I'd rather not die before breakfast, Miss Kirigakure." With her senses sinking back in she realized that not only did she have every eye in the room on her but her hands were shaking slightly. Slowly she glanced from Viktor's worried expression to the calm emerald eyes staring in question. It took a long moment before the knight lowered her sword, Viktor and Claude letting out a long awaited sigh. For a split moment she felt bad but shook it off at the realization of who her target had been.

"What the hell?! What were ya doing so close you creep!?" she barked loudly, shooting a dangerous glare his way.

"You were having a bad dream, shouting in your sleep and waking all of us if not the entire neighborhood."

A silent "Oh" formed on her lips as she noticed both Claude and Viktor were in sleeping attire, the younger man sleepily leaning against Viktor. Embarrassment was not a common thing for Shura, but right now she would gladly feel that instead of the annoying hum of fear in the back of her skull. Even before she could dwell on the thought Mephisto spoke, "Give me your hand." The red head was confused by his demand, but the sharp glare cut off any objections. Quickly he took her hand, and at first she couldn't see anything until he took his gloves off. It looked like ink moving across paper as black blotches surfaced when they're skin met, but the sudden pain that followed in her skull made the woman lose consciousness. It only lasted a moment, though now she was no longer standing but leaning against something warm.

"W-what the hell…" she mumbled as her strength returned. "Looks like he developed a more dangerous parasite," Mephisto remarked as she realized it was he who she was leaning against. Quickly she tried to push him away but the lingering pain made her head spin, and before Shura had time to argue he caught her again. "Now now, no need to move," he chuckled, the smirk growing on his face but then fading.

"It seems I didn't remove all of the parasites from the zombie. Many victims, even after being cured can have flashes from the host's previous life. What did you see?" he replied, slowly setting her down on the sofa and then kneeling down to her eye level. "Shura, who did you see in your dream?" he asked, but even as he spoke she faded back to darkness.

Slowly the demon sighed, laying her back down. "What now boss? Can't you just ask her later?" Viktor asked, setting down a sleepy Claude on a chair. Emerald eyes looked over at the Russian bear and then back to the sleeping form of Shura. "She'll forget it by then. They always forget."
