Chapter 10

Lauren's p.o.v

I was the first up this morning and surprisingly i was in the same position as i was last night facing Joey with my head laid on his chest... I moved slightly after a couple of minutes trying to get comfortable and Joey tightened his arms when i did, and mumbled my name with a smile on his face and at first i thought he was awake but when i looked up at him i could see he was still fast asleep.

So does this mean he is dreaming about me if he is it must be a nice dream cause he is smiling. For some reason though the thought of Joey dreaming about me made me really happy.

Shaking myself from my thoughts a while later i looked at my phone to see that its only 9 so i got up and dressed into my bikini so i could go in the jacuzzi until Joey wakes up or for a while at least...

"I thought you might be here" Joey said startling me slightly as i had my head laid back against the little pillow at the side with my eyes closed.

"Hey you... What made you think i was here" i questioned.

"Lucky guess that and i heard the water bubbling and i know how much you love hot baths so i gathered you would spend some time in here at some point" he said smiling.

"Why don't you come in for a bit its lovely in here" i said as i closed my eyes again.

"You realize its already 11 if we are going to get some food we will have to go down now" he said and i groaned.

"Oh okay but i am so coming back in here later" i mumbled as i pressed the button to turn it off and got out, shivering slightly as i did.

"Do you not want to get dressed first"He said as i threw my sarong on over the top of my bikini.

"Nah dad wants us to go to this water park before we go to the beach later" i said shrugging.

"Yer but everyone is going to be looking at you... So please don't get too mad at me if i go into protective mode and end up punching someone" Joey stated making me giggle.

"I doubt anyone will even notice me there is going to be a lot of people in there in their swimwear" i said.

"Of course they are going to notice you all the guys there are going to be staring at you, your beautiful... Now come on lets go" he said scratching the back of his head while i blushed furiously at his comment.

"Yer lets" i said hooking my arm through his before we left the room.

"You 2 are a bit late down to be having breakfast" dad said as we were about to walk into the food hall.

"Oh right ,well I'll go and get some ice cream then" i said pointing to the stand they had in the corner.

"me too" Joey said before he followed me.

"Lozzy can you come down the water slide with me please" Oscar said looking quite scared ,I'm not really sure why though cause it was just this inflatable slide with a little paddling pool at the bottom.

"Sure Oscie" i said taking his hand as we both ran up the stairs to get to it and then we both slid on our stomachs down to the bottom . But i hadn't realized Joey had come down right behind me and when he got to us he ended up landing straight on top of me.

"Sorry Lo" he said before looking down at me for the briefest of moments which made me feel quite odd but then he jumped off me and helped me to my feet, Oscar having already gotten out and he was waiting for us.

"That okay... Just make sure i have moved first next time" i said smiling brightly before Oscar grabbed my hand and brought my attention to him.

"Can we go on it again please Lozzy it was really fun"Oscar questioned excitedly.

"Sure buddy... How about the 3 of us go down together this time" Joey suggested.

"Yay.. Come on" Oscar said as he grabbed Joey's hand too and we ran up the stairs to do it again.

"Lozzy can we go on that slide now where we is that little boat thing and then you get in the water at the end" Oscar said a while later as he pointed to one of the other water rides.

"I don't know Oscar the water is quite deep and you can't swim very well" i said.

"Please Lozzy please"He pleaded using his puppy eyes like he does every time he really wants something as he knows i can't really say no to him when he does.

"Erm sorry to interrupt but we have some spare water wings with us as we bought quite a few pairs for my sister Lizzy" Joe said from behind us and we all turned round and looked at him as he did.

"Are you sure i will make sure he gives you them back when we have finished" i questioned smiling.

"Sure you can use them for as long as you need and its good to see you again Lauren" he said before sending a nervous glance Joey's way.

"Its okay he has promised to be nice... So would you like to hang out with us" i asked feeling quite nervous that he might say no.

"Yes please" he said smiling.

"Lo's right i have promised to be nice but just be warned i am watching you" i heard Joey say when he thought i couldn't hear him but i didn't really want to have a go at him for it this time.

"Joey come in the ring with me and Oscar" i said and he nodded before he got in behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and as we started going down Joey startled me slightly by moving my hair over to one side of my neck.

"Sorry you hair was in my face" he breathed, his breath hitting my neck and making the hair stand up and i couldn't help but lean back into his chest when it did and he smiled at me.

"Come here Oscar" i said when we were in the water and me and Joey both watched as he made his way over to us with Joe and Lizzy.

"Alright mate" Joey said smiling as Oscar reached us and he threw him up in the air and Oscar laughed really loudly as he landed back in Joey's arms.

"Do it again Joey its really fun" he begged and Joey chuckled slightly before throwing him back up in the air again.

"You know you are really good with him and i can tell you guys are really close" Joe said from next to me.

"Yer we are pretty close... But i guess it helps that i have down a lot of babysitting since i was about 12" i said smiling.

"How old is he" Joe questioned.

"Nearly 5 and i have just turned 15 so..." i said shrugging my shoulders. "How about Lizzy how old is she" i asked smiling when he smiled at me.

"Nearly 4 her birthday is while we are here and we are going to have a little party in the kids club for her" he said.

"That's really sweet... I bet your going to have fun" i said looking at Lizzy who seems to be quite shy cause she hid behind Joe when i spoke to her.

"So do you have any other brothers and sister" he asked.

"Yer i have a sister Abi who 12 shes over there with Joey's sister" i said pointing to the log ride. " and i have a brother Bradley and hes 22 but hes away on business so he couldn't come with us which is a shame seen as i hardly ever see him anymore... What about you" i questioned.

"Yer i have 2 brother who are both older then me Dylan and Sam and then i have 3 other little sisters Sarah,Annie and Jess so yer there is quite a few of us" he said.

"Yer... but this one girl at my school who has about 12 siblings so..." i trailed off as my dad started calling us over.

"It looks like you have to go now" Joe said smiling.

"Yer i does... I'll see you around maybe then" i said with a smile as me, Joey and Oscar all stood up.

"What's up dad" i asked as we walked over to them.

"I was going to tell you guys to get you stuff ready cause we are going to head to the beach now... Who's the boy you seem to be laughing and joking with" Dad questioned.

"Oh hes just a boy i met yesterday and hes really nice... His names Joe" i said.

"His names Joe" Mollie said amusement clear in her voice.

"Yer why! do you find that funny" i questioned frowning and i could tell she was about to say something when i saw Joey shot her a look and then she stood there for a minute clearly thinking about what she should say.

"No darling of course not... Right come on" she finally said as we all head out of the park and towards the beach.

"You sure do love sunbathing don't you" Joey said from next to me as i laid soaking up the sun as my dad says.

"Yer and i want to go back with an awesome Tan to show everyone" i said.

"To show off that you have been on holiday more like" he chuckled as he took his top off clearly hes trying to get a Tan on his own to show everyone.

"Yer that too... But so are you, your the one laying here with your shirt off" i said as i turned on my front then i looked over at Joey to see he had his eyes closed with a big smile on his face.

"Well what's the point at coming to the beach at our age if we are not going to sunbath" he said.

"True...oh hello again i didn't think i would see you again today" i said as Joe and Lizzy walked over to us.

"Oh hey, Lizzy wanted to come here... And what can i say i will do anything to make her happy"Joe said smiling.

"Joe i want to build a castle" Lizzy whispered.

"Why don't you come with me then Lizzy and we will see if Oscar wants to build one with us... I was going to go and see the others anyway" Joey said as he crouched down in front of Lizzy who smiled sheepishly at him.

"would you like that Lizzy"Joe asked to which she just nodded and took Joey's hand and started tugging on it. "Are you sure you don't mind" he questioned looking at Joey.

"Yer we will be fine won't we" Joey said smiling before they walked off.

"So do you mind me sitting in Joey's seat" Joe asked a couple of minutes later.

"Sure" i said as i watched him take his top off just like Joey did a few moment ago and i have to say i think Joey works out a lot more then Joe not that, that's a bad thing of course.

"So have you and Joey been out with anyone while you have been friends" he asked making me frown after a few minutes of comfortable silence.

"Yer... Well Joey has had a few girlfriends but i haven't really been with anyone no.. I don't really like any of the guys i know like that... Why" i asked suddenly feeling self conscience.

"Oh no reason i was just wondering... I really like you Lauren and i hope you like me" he said and i looked at him as he said this and i had no idea what to say, so i just said the first thing that popped into my head but it was also the nicest thing i could say.

"I... I erm.. I like you too" i said and when i did he leaned forward and kissed me softly but it didn't feel the way it did when Joey kissed me its different somehow, really different and to be honest I'm not sure if i really liked it but i smiled at him anyway as we pulled away and went back to sitting the way we were i looked over at Joey when we did but he wasn't looking at us thankfully which mean hes not going to start being really overprotective again and no one else seemed to see which is good too of course.

"Listen I'm going to go over with my family now I'll see you later yer" i said a while later as Lizzy came over to us.

"Okay well maybe I'll see you tomorrow or something" he said.

"Yer maybe we will see my dad has a lot planned for us this holiday so..." i said smiling as i got up and grabbed my things. "Bye Joe" i said smiling softly.

"Okay bye Lauren" he said smiling back.

"Look Lozzy we build a castle"Oscar said jumping up and down as i reached them and Joey smiled up at me when i did.

"Yer that's really good but i bet Joey helped you a little cause it is very big" i said as i crouched down in front of him.

"He only helped a little and so did that girl" Oscar said poking his tongue out.

"Uh huh" i said. "Right i think we should go and see what the others want to do cause its getting dark" i said.

"Alright Lo, mum called before and she wants to talk to us tonight" Abi said as we reached them only a few seconds later.

"why" i asked confused.

"Oh she said its nothing bad she just wants to see if we are enjoying ourselves" she said.

"Oh well I'll try but me and Joey are probably be hanging out so..." i said shrugging " If not I'll probably phone her tomorrow" i said.

"Okay I'll tell her and by the way i saw you kiss that boy before" she said whispering the last part as we walked along the road heading towards the hotel.

"Please don't tell anyone" i pleaded.

"Do you like him" she asked raising an eyebrow.

"I'm not sure" i said glancing at Joey cause I'm still very confused as to why kissing Joe felt so different from kissing him.

"Are you worried about what Joey might think if you get a boyfriend"she asked.

"Why would i worry about that" i asked.

"Doesn't matter" she said rolling her eyes.

"Oh no" Joey laughed looking at his phone.

"What" i asked already smiling.

"There is pictures of Fats party all over facebook and it looks like everyone has been grounded again now. you know what Fats Nan can be like and she has come back early cause of it" Joey said showing me a picture of Fats and Tyler who were clearly drunk and they were holding up beer bottles.

"Well why did they put it on there that was just stupid of course they were going to get found out" i laughed.

"No its not about getting found out they shouldn't have been drinking in the first place Joey would have been grounded again if he went to that party as I'm sure you would have" John said from behind us making us both jump.

"Right we are going to go up now" Joey said after we had grabbed 2 plates full of food.

"Oh alright night guys"Mollie said looking at us strangely again.

"Right are you coming in the jacuzzi" i said taking my flipflops and sarong off. then i quickly put it on and Joey laughed at me when i did.

"Your obsessed but yer I'll come in too" he said before following me in as i had already got in while he was talking.

"Cool... Now pass me one of those crunches" i said pointing to the plate and he rolled his eyes before passing it over.

"So erm i saw you kiss that Joe before" Joey said and i stared at him having nearly chocked as he said that.

"Did you.. Well..." i trailed off.

"Do do you think you are going to be hanging out with him more" Joey said looking down.

"I don't think so... Besides i would much rather hang out with you" i said tilting his head up so we were looking into each others eyes and i got a butterfly feeling in my stomach and then it was like we were stuck in this little bubble and we couldn't take out eyes off each other. it was only broken when there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it" Joey whispered before clearing his throat.

It turned out it was Abi and Alice wanting to use the jacuzzi cause they don't have one in their room and for the rest of the night i kept finding myself looking at Joey and he smiled every time he saw me... What is going on with us !

Hey everyone sorry i haven't updated in a while i haven't been so well in the past few weeks but I'm back now and i hope this chapter was worth the wait.
