He turned off the music and reached into the picnic basket immediately pulling out the bottle of champagne - drinking almost half of it in two quick gulps. I didn't know what to do, so I just kept quiet. A few awkward minutes had passed as Van Houten ate a sandwich. He swallowed and started to speak.
"I went to your funeral, Hazel." He said. I wasn't expecting him to say anything like that, and I uttered a small oh. I wasn't really in the mood to talk about my death, but I didn't have to say anything because he kept talking. "So, what is this place?"

"How did you die?" I asked.
"Can't you guess?" He asked, swishing the champagne bottle, "I drank myself to death."
"Oh."
"It's alright, no need to feel sorry for me." I looked over at Augustus and he rolled his eyes. His expression said So much for Christmas.
