The Electrifying Events

Chapter 10: Electric Showdown

I'm back after a long time of not doing anything. Sorry it took so long to get this story back and going, what happened was I lost inspiration of doing this, and then all of the sudden I started getting it back. So now is the time to get back to the story. By the way all of my other stories are on hiatus until this one is done. Sorry if I'm not updating your favorite story. That's all I have to say, now onto the story.

Spider-Man stood in shock, because one of his toughest enemies is standing right in front of him. Spider-Man knew that it could be him, but he didn't want to believe it and it still shocked him. "Hey, spark plug, how have you been," Spider-Man said to Electro knowing well that naming him that will just annoy him.

Which Spider-Man is correct Electro did get annoyed of Spider-Man for calling him that. "I told you not to call me that," Electro said with sparks literally coming out of his eyes in anger. Electro built up energy in his hands and said, "I am Electro!" Then Electro fired the the electricity at Spider-Man.

Spider-Man widened his eyes as his Spider Sense went off. Spider-Man jumped out of the way just barely though. 'That was close, Pikachu took more out of me then I thought,' Spider-Man thought as Electro was charging another blast at Spider-Man. As Electro let this blast go Spider-Man jumped out of the way again and clinged onto the wall. The noise was loud enough for everyone to hear, so Ash, Brock, Misty, and Nurse Joy all came out of their rooms to see what was going on.

"What is going on," Nurse Joy said which got Electro's attention.

Electro laughed saying, "This is your nightmare, and it is coming true." Electro blasted electricity at them.

Then everything went slow for Spider-Man again which he jumped off of the wall he was on and shot a web in front of the door frame, which made the electricity hit the web instead of them. 'Man it was hard enough with just looking after one of them, now I have to make sure all of them are safe,' Spider-Man thought, but as he thought that he remembered that Pikachu was in the room with him. 'Where did he go?' Spider-Man looked around the room to see that he was nowhere in sight.

Spider-Man was in his thought for too long that he didn't pay attention to his spider sense so he got hit by electro. Spider-Man flew a few feet before landing on the hard floor which cracked when he landed. Spider-Man looked up to see Electro laughing. "Finally I have almost defeated Spider-Man," Electro said which made everyone behind the web worried.

Ash was trying to find a way to get the web off the door, while Nurse Joy said, "What are you doing?" Ash kept on pushing the web trying to get through.

"Spider-Man needs our help," Ash said while stopping and realizing that he will have to find a different way to break through the web.

"Are you crazy it is dangerous in there." Ash ignored her and kept on thinking of a way to get out.

Misty then said, "Well there is Ash for you. He always like helping others especially if they're in danger."

Spider-Man was struggling to get back up, but he was getting really weak. "Don't celebrate your victory just yet Electro, I'm still standing," Spider-Man said knowing that if he gets hit one more time it might be game over for him.

Electro just smiled knowing that Spider-Man is almost done for. Electro went over to Spider-Man and said, "Well it looks like you're right for now," Electro then kicked Spider-Man in the face sending him back a few inches.

Spider-Man was in a lot of pain even though electro just kicked him which doesn't hurt that much than getting shocked by electricity, but Electro is made out of electricity which still shocks him if Spider-Man touches him. Spider-Man was about to blackout but he still has enough energy to go on. 'The people in this building are counting on me to save them, I have to keep on fighting.' Spider-Man uses the last of his remaining strength to get up.

"Can you ever stay down?" Electro fired more electricity at him, which Spider-Man dodges and jumps straight towards him. Once Spider-Man got close enough he punched Electro in the face as hard as his body can do it. Once his fist contacted with Electro's face, electricity came off and onto Spider-Man's hand which caused them both go backwards away from each other.

Ash, Brock and Misty were still trying to figure out a way to get past the web that was blocking the way. They thought of ways to break the web but everything they tried didn't work until Brock said, "Maybe one of our Pokémon would be able to get through."

It was a good idea but Misty then remembered, "Wait Pokémon seem to attack Spider-Man for some weird reason."

"Yeah I remember that when he came in here a couple of days ago, the Pokémon started attacking him like if he were a predator to them," Nurse Joy said recalling the last time she met Spider-Man.

They started to think some more but Ash realized that they are just wasting time. "Well I can't think of anything else. We're going to have to use our Pokémon."

"I hate to admit it but, Ash is right there is no other way to get through." So all of them nodded and were about to call out there Pokémon until Pikachu came bursting in through the air vent.

"Pikachu are you okay." Ash went up to Pikachu to see if there were any injuries.

"Pikachu," ("I'm fine,") Pikachu said to Ash as he was walking away from them.

"Where are you going Pikachu?" Pikachu kept on going not listening to Ash. He was trying to comprehend what he just saw.

A few minutes ago:

After the wire stopped glowing and was replaced with a man made out of electricity. Pikachu couldn't believe what he was seeing. 'Why is there a man that is blue and covered in electricity.' Pikachu then saw Electro fire electricity that looked very similar to his thunderbolt. This made Pikachu confused on how a human can learn thunderbolt. In the middle of Pikachu's thought he saw one of Electro's thunderbolt things almost hit Spider-Man and he got onto the wall.

Pikachu then saw his trainer and friends come into the room. Pikachu was about to shout at them to come and help, but Spider-Man webbed the door frame shut. 'What is this guy doing,' Pikachu thought as Spider-Man got hit by another electric attack by Electro.

'Well I'm not staying here.' Pikachu then found an air vent and ran to it. He grabbed the metal vent and pulled with all the strength he had left. It took awhile but he finally was able to get it off as he went inside he heard Electro say, "Finally I have almost defeated Spider-Man!" Pikachu then looked back and saw Spider-Man trying to get up but he looked like he was in a lot of pain.

'Why is he still fighting? Even I would give up by now.' Pikachu then shook his head and started going deeper into the air vent. The air vents are not the best place to hide but Pikachu knew that he had to find his trainer and get everyone out of here. It would be a lot easier to find them if the air vents didn't have so much webs in them, but not only that there is also a lot of forks in the road that led to different areas of the building.

Pikachu then stopped when he saw there was three different ways he can go. One forward, one to the left, and one to the right. Pikachu looked at the seperate ways he can go, and was about to choose a random direction until he heard Ash's voice coming from the right direction.

Then Pikachu went toward the direction of the voice. 'Man now I'm glad that they are talking about Spider-Man or else I would have been going around in circles in this airvent all day.' Pikachu kept going deeper and deeper into the vent as the voices became louder and louder. Pikachu then got to the end of the vent and saw his friends and nurse Joy from the grate of the air vent.

Pikachu tried to push the air vent off but it wouldn't budge, because he didn't have the upper body strength to do it. Pikachu thought about how he could get it to budge open. 'Maybe if I can get my friends attention then they can help me get this thing off.' Pikachu then tried to call them but they were too busy talking to even notice.

'Alright then I will do it myself.' Pikachu thought as he gave up trying to call them. Pikachu then went back to thinking about how he can get out. Then Pikachu remembered how Spider-Man broke through a window into the burning building. Spider-Man had a lot of speed and momentum when he broke that window, even though it is not that hard to break a window Pikachu thought he would give it a try.

Pikachu then took a few steps backwards to give himself some room to gain some speed. Pikachu took a deep breath and thought, 'This is probably going to hurt, and if it does I'm blaming Spider-Man for this.' Pikachu was wondering why he was even doing something that Spider-Man did, because he still doesn't trust him that much. Pikachu after that got ready and charged up his agility attack. Pikachu then took off and as he got closer to the vent he put his head down so that way his forehead will take all of the force instead of his face.

Pikachu then went bursting out of the air vent and stopped right next to his friends, and nurse Joy. As all of these events were going through Pikachu's mind he didn't realize his trainer was talking to him. "Hey buddy are you sure you're okay?" Ash said to his partner really worried about him.

Pikachu then shook his head to bring himself back to reality. Pikachu then looked up at his trainer and saw that his eyes had a worried look on them. "Pikachu Pika Pi" ("Yeah I'm fine just a little sore.") Pikachu said knowing that it might have been his head aching. 'Man why did I do that?' Pikachu then walked away from his friends.

Ash and his friends were looking at Pikachu wondering where he was going. Pikachu then went to a door that said emergency exit which he stopped and looked back at his friends. "Pika Pikachu" ("Come on let's get out of here.")

Ash, Brock, and Misty looked at him and knew what he wanted to do. "Pikachu you want to go out?" Ash asked to Pikachu which in turn nodded yes. Ash knew that Pikachu didn't like Spider-Man like all of the other Pokémon that have met him. But Ash just couldn't leave Spider-Man here when he knew he could help.

Ash went up to his Pokémon, and best friend, he kneeled down to Pikachu's level and said, "Look I know you don't like him, but I can't just leave him here when I know we could help him." Pikachu couldn't believe what he was hearing right now, he knew Ash had a kind heart but this Electro guy is very dangerous. Pikachu didn't want to see his dearest friends get hurt or die, just because they wanted to help.

"Pika!" ("No!") Pikachu shouted at Ash then turned his head away from him. Misty then came up next to Ash to see if she could help.

"Pikachu," As Misty started Pikachu turned his head to her. Misty saw in his eyes that Pikachu was scared and it wasn't because of Spider-Man. Misty swallowed a lump that was in her throat, and continued, "i know that you are scared and that you don't want to help Spider-Man, but can you just put away this stupid thing you have against him and help us." Pikachu humphed and turned his head again. Misty sighed and tried one more thing, "If you won't do it for him can you do it for me."

Pikachu looked into Misty's eyes and saw that she cared for Spider-Man. Pikachu doesn't really know why but he really likes Misty. That is the reason why he didn't want to fight Misty when Ash challenged her to battle at the Cerulean city gym. Pikachu didn't like letting Misty down, heck he didn't like letting any of his friends down.

Then Pikachu ran up to Ash and onto his shoulder and said, "Pika Pikachu!" ("Let's do this!") Ash was glad that his rodent friend changed his mind.

Ash nodded then stood up and said, "Let's go save Spider-Man!" All of Ash's friends including nurse Joy nodded and they went to the web looking at it with determination to get through.

'Well here we go.' Pikachu thought as he charged up his electric sacs ready to fight. Ash, Misty and Brock right behind him as they are also ready to probably fight the most dangerous villain they have ever faced.

That is it! Finally I finished this chapter. I'm sorry for the long wait for this chapter, but I just wanted to say thanks to all of those people who have left reviews it really kept me going on this Chapter.
