Hello! Finally got the chance to update. Short chapter but certainly reveals enough. And the guest writer, you know who you are, thank you! Enjoy!

He leaned back against the chair with a sigh. Running a global company is anything but easy. He closed his eyes as his head rested against the top of his office chair. Breathing gently. His peaceful trance was interrupted when his sweet assistant knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

Her lips formed a genuine smile as she looked at her boss, "Someone is here to see you, Mr. Brooks."

He didn't even want to know who as he nodded, "Send them in."

She was about to turn when he spoke again, "Thank you, Alicia." With a nod and a smile she left her boss to fetch the guest.

He turned his attention to the laptop after Alicia left. His skilled, tattooed fingers brushing over the keyboard.

She flipped her red locks behind her shoulders as she was led by his assistant. Her long nails covered in red nail paint adding a contrast to the white dress she was wearing. The young assistant offered a small smile before opening the door and standing back to let her in.

He heard the door being opened and closed but didn't look right away. After a few more clicks on the keyboard, he finally turned around. His features instantly showed anger at her presence. She on the other hand had a smile plastered on her face. He stood up instantly.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you.", she replied with a grin. She walked towards him slowly.

"What do you want?", he asked, bitterly and moved back.

"You.", she whispered as she continued go towards him.

He shook his head as he raised his voice, "Stop!" She stopped abruptly. His anger scaring her a little.

"Phil..", she treid.
He shook his head again, "I don't want to cause a scene. Get lost."

She smiled again, walking up close to him she lightly brushed her hand over his chest when he shook her off., "I'll leave soon. I just want you one last time."

"I said get the fuck lost. What part of that did you not get?"

She gave him an innocent expression as she took a seat on one of the chairs.

"Why are you being like this? Since when do you not want me?", she asked childishly.

"Since you did what you did.", he answered. Anger dripping from his voice.

"Oh, getting angry now, huh? I always liked it when you got angry." she winked. He didn't budge so she continued, "You know I'll want you." She sat, crossing her legs, daring him to say something. Silently hoping he was watching her like a hungry man.

But that was not Philip Brooks. He did not do these things.

He took a breath before he looked at her with his green orbs.

"I don't want you, Maria. I never will. Never again. Get the fuck out of here. Don't make me do things that'll make you regret everything.", he said in a low, dangerous voice.

She looked down before looking at her watch. Groaning she stood up.

"I have to go. I would've come with more time and don't worry I will. Don't miss me too much, Phil.", she said with a wicked smile.

"See you.", she said and walked towards him and leaned forward, wanting to give him a kiss on the cheek. She would've attacked his lips but she had to be careful. So she leaned forward to kiss his cheek when he moved back, again.

He gave her an angry glare before tilting his head towards the door.

"GET. OUT!"

She was shocked at his outburst but did as he asked. Not feeling to brave anymore she walked out of his office without another glance.

He let out a groan and sat back down on his chair. "Fuck!", he muttered. Running his hands through his hair and over his face. He brought his hands down. Taking a few breaths he sat up. He fixed his shirt before picking the office phone up.

"Sir?". Alicia's voice sounded of concern. She did see that woman leaving her boss's office looking scared.

"If that woman ever comes to see me again, don't let her in."

Silence on the other hand.
"Alicia!"

She shook her head."Yes, yes Sir. Okay."

"Good." His voice laced with anger as he hung up.

Let me know what you think.
