AN: sorry about how long of a wait you've had on this. I'm finally getting back into the grove of writing for the Lyoko Warriors so hopefully I'll have it finished soon ^^.

With how FanFiction works, if you want to leave a comment and did so on that page of new or working ideas page I had put up, IM me instead. Sorry about the inconvenience and let's get back to Phantom Virus!

Chapter 10

"What's her problem?" Danny asked as he floated behind the pink girl in the white world. He turned his head this way and that, taking in the trees floating in the only color in the world being a yellow sky.

"She's just over protective about her friends." Aelita smiled. "Don't let her get to you."

"This is so weird." Danny admitted, glancing back at himself for probably the fifth time. "I've been in a computer game before but this is like a whole new level. Er-… you know what I mean."

"Well, you are inside a supercomputer." Aelita laughed.

"Hey, what's that?" Danny asked, motioning ahead towards two bug-like creatures standing guard in front of a red tower.

"Tarantulas. Not all that pleasant." Aelita said, creating two balls of pink energy in her hands with flicks of the wrists.

"Weak spot the eyes?" Danny asked, only to hear the monster's cries as they reared up their front legs and started shooting towards the two.

"Ya, just help me get to the tower." Aelita informed using the electricity as shields as they drew the monsters closer to them. "The sooner I get there, the sooner your friends will be safe from William."

"I'll take the one on the left if you can handle the other one." Danny offered, creating a green shield to protect the two from a blast.

"Ok." Aelita nodded and, as soon as Danny dropped the shield, headed towards the monster on the right.

Danny flew over to the other tarantula, dodging a blast as he flew.

The monster growled at its opponent, shooting aimlessly in his direction.

Danny shot towards the creature's head, only to miss, hitting the ground behind it.

-.-.-.-

Tucker's eyes widened as a thin line was created on his neck under the blade of William's sword.

William smiled as around the five teens appeared five Guys in White operatives, each grabbing a teen and placing a gun to their temples.

"Hey! I thought you didn't want us!" Sam demanded, looking at William as she grabbed at the arm around her throat.

"You're Xana's enemies as long as you're friends with them." The GIW officer growled in her ear with the undertone of Xana, making the girl shiver in his grip.

-.-.-.-

A yell got Danny's attention, remembering Aelita. He turned to see if the girl was ok only to get shot square in the chest, knocking him down to the ground. He held the burning wound as he tried to recover quickly, looking up at the four legged attacker. He shot back with his free hand, lucky enough to hit it right in the center of the eye of Xana. The monster blew up, freeing him enough to check on his chest.

His costume was ripped close to the DP logo on his chest, with drips of ectoplasm emerging. The wound itself wasn't deep and the ectoplasm was already drying to help heal the cut.

Danny heard Aelita cry out, getting his attention back to the girl. He jumped to his feet and ran over, shooting at the tarantula to get its attention away from the girl who was standing on the edge of the platform. "Hey, Bug! Ready to be swashed?"

The tarantula dropped down to its four feet and turned around to face the boy. Throwing its head, it growled towards the sky as it reared up on its hind legs and started shooting at him.

Ignoring the slight pain in his chest, he created a ball of ecto-energy in between his hands and threw it at the creature.

Green energy pulsated around the monster before it blew up in a mix of red and green.

"Danny? Are you… bleeding?" Aelita asked, frozen a few feet away from him as she stared at his chest.

"You could call it that." Danny admitted, looking down at himself to see it was already closing up, the costume stitching itself around the already healed parts.

"No, I mean,…. you're not supposed to have any sort of blood here." Aelita tried to explain. She shook her head as it to clear it for the moment. She turned towards the tower still glowing red and said, "Let me deactivate the tower. We'll figure it out after."

-.-.-.-

William froze as an electrical surge ran through-out his body. Tucker took the small advantage and freed himself, ripping the sword out of William's hands in the process.

The five GIW operatives let go of their captives, dropping to their knees as Xana left them in a gray smoke. The smoke flew over the five and into William.

William shook his head, getting back to reality as the tower's power no longer fed him energy. He disappeared in a smoke, taking his sword away from Tucker along with him.

"Thank you Aelita." Odd gasped, gripping his neck where the man had grabbed him.

"Come on, before they regain enough sense." Jeremie said, leading the five teens away from the men trying to figure out what happened.

"Aren't we going to have to return to the past?" Ulrich asked.

The five rounded the corner of the school building to find people and disappear in a crowd of people heading back to work from lunch.

"It'd just give Xana more Q-bites." Jeremie shook his head, glad they reached the sidewalk so they could slow down to a walk. "As soon as those guys get back to their building, Xana will possess them again using the supercomputer there." He pulled his backpack off and reached in for the mike still attached to his laptop. He placed it on his ear and asked, "Aelita, Don't return to the past. How's Danny doing?" he paused as he received a response only to have his eyebrows increase. "What? That's no possible! Hang on."

Jeremie led the group over to a bench and pulled out the laptop, unplugging the mike so the five could hear her.

"Alright, what's not possible?" Ulrich asked, standing behind Jeremie with Tucker as Sam and Odd sat on the bench next to the boy.

"Bleeding, I guess." Danny's voice replied.

"Danny!" Sam whined, worried about the boy.

"Don't worry, Sam. I'm already healed." Danny defended.

Jeremie typed away, ringing up Danny's card and information. "Well, you're down to ten life points so don't get hit again until we figure out what would happen." Jeremie warned. "Here," he pulled up a program with a wireframe look of his digital profile. "I'm going to run a displacement scan on you to determine where your physical body is. It might feel weird."

"Ready." Danny's voice came.

Jeremie hit enter, letting the five to watch as a bar scanned his digital avatar. As the program worked, he turned to his right to explained, "When I scan them into Lyoko, their physical bodies normally are, in a way, put into a folder inside their digital envelope."

"Why not do what happened when he was in Doom?" Tucker asked. "He lost his health and was shot out of the computer."

"Tuck, listen." Sam ordered. "If we don't know where his body is, he could end up in France."

"Or worst, actually lose his body." Jeremie pointed out.

"Not fun, let me tell you." Ulrich said in time to be beeped at as Jeremie's computer finished.

"So, where's my body, Doc?" Danny asked.

Jeremie rolled his eyes at the nickname. He scanned the information only for his glasses to drop down his nose in surprise. "Quel? C'est inposible!" He turned to look at those around him and said, "It's as if I scanned him in myself."

"So he's going to end up in France?" Tucker asked, surprised.

"Yes." Jeremie admitted. "Until I can figure out a way to bring him back."

"Don't worry, Danny. Jeremie's a genius." Oss tried.

"Until then, Aelita, can you help Danny at Kadic?" Jeremie asked.

"Would your school let family stay over?" Tucker asked, looking at Ulrich and Odd.

"Ya, and since Aelita's supposed to be Canadian anyway, that would explain away why he can't speak French." Ulrich put together.

"What about what you're going to tell my parents." Danny pointed out. "We can't use the normal I'm over at Tucker's. They'd complain about me leaving Odd."

"You could sleep over, I'm sure Mom wouldn't mind." Tucker said, looking at the purple clad teen.

"Sure." Odd shrugged his shoulders.

"Ok, girls, take Danny back to Lyoko. I'll be waiting to dematerialize you three." Jeremie said. "Hopefully I'll have you back home soon, Danny."
