It took a few minutes for your eyes to get adjusted from going to light, complete darkness but what the computer screens provided, to the light the windows at the back of the store provided.

From the windows you could see a small backyard with a metal plated fence with graffiti all over it, next door seemed to be an old abandoned apartment.

A big heavy muscled guy sat on the couch reading a book with decent sized glasses on.

"DG! Graverobber is here!" The skinnier and rave like man closed the door behind you giving you once last look,

it was a small smile with a wink as if the two of you were old friends and you just shared some sort of joke

or inside secret that the two of you knew about

or as if the two of you came to some sort of understanding the minute you looked at each other.

So far...he scared you.

DG placed his book down, removed his glasses and stood up from the couch, he was slightly taller than Graverobber and a lot bigger than him when it came to muscle,

his face was scarred all over, he even had one right across his left eye although it seemed perfectly fine.

His body was covered in more war like tattoos, more gang like symbols that truly you have only read about in books.

But his face turned into a warm soft smile at the sight of his apparent old friend.

"Been a long time..." his voice was rough as if he had a horrid cough, lost his voice or ate nails but had a nice warmth to it as if he was about to cry.

Graverobber turned to you and Mag nodding, Mag held onto your hand with a soft but concerning hold.

"They yours?" DG pointed at me mainly "friends, we were wondering if we can stay here for awhile, been traveling for a bit, sort of a..261 situation" at the numbers DG nodded and motioned around with both arms.

"My house..is your house, you are welcome to stay, the city charges next to nothing for water so take your time with whatever you are doing, we have plenty of food and plenty of work to be done if you wish to help out,

I just ask that you stay away from the computer room you just passed through unless authorized to go in there or you are looking for one of us, but if you are in there, try not to get the wandering eye syndrome, nothing done here is illegal, but it's more of an...underground thing anyway."

It was nice to know that DG was completely honest with the situation with his computers.

But it was also a but unsettling to think that you might be living someplace with a guy possibly doing something illegal even if he said otherwise.

Graverobber flopped onto the couch and flipped on the t.v. "I'll show you two girls to your rooms" DG walked as carefully as possible up the steps, Mag guided you by hand as you tried taking in your new surroundings.

"Seems like TJ has a liking for you kid! Not very often he takes a liking in people, he must see some sort of potential in you, last time he saw potential in someone we got Graverobber and a few memorable people in our group."

He brought the two of you to a small room with a queen sized bed, a window looking out over the shop, a chess board with two chairs accompanying it, a book shelf filled with books, and even a small TV on top of a dresser.

"Hopefully you three stay long enough so we can figure what that is..." he scanned the ceiling of the room as if he expected something to be there, and just to your surprise there was,

he pawed at the ceiling until a small opening appeared and a ladder flew down.

"This leads upstairs to the attic area, from there you'll find a cross-way leading to the apartment next door... feel free to come up here anytime you want, and don't worry...no one will be barging in up here at any time, we all have our own ways up there."

He stood in front of the ladder for a bit "So what's your names if you don't mind me asking?" his left foot laid on the bottom step.

"I'm Shilo this is Mag" DG smiled down at you as if you said the best thing he's heard of all day.

"Well Shilo and Mag..I hope you two enjoy your stay here, if you don't mind I'll be using this ladder right now to get to the apartment, the rest of the crew lives there, come around if you can and get to know them, I'm sure they would love to have someone new to talk to."

He climbed the rest of the steps and disappeared into the darkness within the attic.

Two new characters! TJ and DG, do they mean anything? I will think about that later on and I guess you'll find out later on as well. Until then let me know what you think about the story so far. I think from how short I am making these and how much I really want to do with Shilo being free from Rotti and her father and escaping the city...there may be about 30+ chapters or so..maybe.

I really want to do a few things with Shilo and especially make her come out of her shell that she was in during the movie and make her grow up to be some badass, but that will take a few chapters and I really want this to slowly go over, hopefully I can keep it interesting the whole time though. Also hopefully the ending will be something surprising for you as well.

Also on this story I haven't really gotten any complaints about how short each chapter is but just as a quick note i prefer to write short chapters because when I end it at a certain point I feel as if that is just a decent spot to leave someone hanging at and make them sorta want more for the next chapter, to have their questions answered or just get excited for the next thing coming. Also I have a hard time being able to read long chapters myself because i lose my spot or it's just too much for me, like just a lot of tiny writing for me to read so I prefer writing something short for people who share the same thing as me. Although I can understand your anger as to how short it is, I just don't plan on making them any longer because it's just easier for me to leave this short especially with how I try to space them out and how much detail I try my hardest to put in just one chapter but keep it interesting.

Until then
