The night kicked off with the Tag Team titles were on the line as both Usos and Wyatt's were looking for quick wins as both battled unrelentingly and managed to make it to one a piece but in the end the Usos were able to get the final fall and retain their titles.

The team known as The Funkadactyls had now officially broken up after Cameron had grown jealous of her partner's overshadowing her and sought to take her out as she was unleashing all her frustration out on her but Naomi would also unleash her frustration on her former friend but in the end Cameron cheated to beat her former partner.

The rivalry between both champion and challenger had turned a bit strange as AJ and Paige looked to one up each other in everything and at the same time become Frenemies as both women took this rivalry to another level with the sheer brutality of their match showed how badly they wanted to be the best but in the end AJ was able to nail the Shining Wizard to retain her title.

Seth Rollins had stabbed his friends in the back and now it was time he paid for it but this wasn't the night as earlier on Ambrose attacked Rollins and because of that the match was cancelled and Ambrose was arrested.

LATER ON

David was preparing for the battle royal as he heard of footsteps stopping behind him.

"Ready for this?" he recognised the voice to be that of Paige.

"I think so, sorry you lost." David said to her.

"It's not over yet, I'll get her back." she said.

"Does this mean your freeing the beast?" he asked.

"You know it." she said.

He turned to face her. "About last Friday you know that AJ was only doing all that to get in your head right?" he asked as he wasn't trying to upset her.

"I know she did and besides imagine us like that?" she said as we both found that a funny thought.

"Oh yes! Us arm in arm, taking walks through the park and candlelight dinners." he sarcastically said.

"Giving each other cute names, having pictures together and kissing in public." she sarcastically said as they both found a laugh in that.

"If by any chance or by some miracle it ever and I mean ever happens please do me a favour and slap me as hard as you can and if it's not enough kick me in the values while your at it." he requested.

"Won't be my first time." she replied.

He then heard the call for the battle royal.

"Time for battle, see you after?" David asked.

"Yeah and we'll go celebrate your title win." Paige said as she had confidence in him.

"First round's on you." David said as he left for the match.

"This contest is set for one fall and it is a battle royal to determine the new WWE Intercontinental Champion!" Justin Roberts announced.

All men were in the ring as was David and the bell rang and it was every man for himself as everyone threw a punch in whoever was in their direction David was trying to get to Bo Dallas but he was blocked off by Curtis Axel and Ryback who wanted some payback for his as they called it fluke loss.

They double teamed him as one held him the other delivered body blows to him as then XAVIER WOODS IS ELIMINATED! As he was sent over and out, both RybAxel tried to throw David out but he refused to let them as he was fighting them off with all he had and was able to slump to the outside canvas and roll under the bottom rope.

But the as the match went on Ryback turned his attention to Khali and David and Axel were now going at it as The Red Dragon had The Perfect Superstar in the corner and was pounding away at him as then THE GREAT KHALI IS ELIMINATED! Ryback making a huge statement by eliminating the former world champion as then ZACK RYDER IS ELIMINATED!

With three now gone David was taking it to Axel but his partner came in and once again they double teamed him as they both took turns stomping him in the corner as then SIN CARA IS ELIMINATED! Another superstar is gone after Del Rio delivered that hard hitting kick and eliminated the luchador and then R-TRUTH IS ELIMINATED!

The ring was beginning to get less crowded as Axel held David up for his partner to hit a Meat hook clothesline to eliminate David as he ran full force at him and at the last minute David got out of the way and RYBACK HITS AXEL AND AXEL IS ELIMINATED! Ryback realised what he had done and from behind RYBACK IS ELIMINATED! David just eliminated the big guy.

The match was breaking into smaller pieces as then DAMIEN SANDOW AND DIEGO ARE ELIMINATED! As it got smaller the ring then got bigger and David was then attacked by Cesaro who also was still reeling from their last encounter he laid the boots to him and took him against the ropes and just threw him up and dropped him with the uppercut.

Cesaro had him down and decided to finish him and got him up and cracked his head ready for the Neutralizer but from out of nowhere using David as a step KOFI TOOK CESARO DOWN WITH TROUBLE IN PARADISE! Ceasro was dazed and with that he took The King of Swing and CESARO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED! However BIG E HAS BEEN ELIMINATED and it was by Bo Dallas as he took a moment to brag he was then faced by Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil and they went right for him but he quickly pulled the ropes down and ducked as both men went flying over and HEATH SLATER AND TITUS O'NEIL HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED!

The ring was getting even more bigger but then as Dallas was bragging eliminating more guys he was then face to face with David who just threw him into the corner and began giving him a massive beat down, he tried to cover up but the fists still came down on him, Dallas begged him to stop as he had him down and went to give the final blow and revenge by eliminating him but he was stopped as a clubbing blow from behind by Del Rio who had just taken down Ziggler and Sheamus was too busy with Miz.

Del Rio began wearing David down with strikes then taking him to the corner he got in that quick enziguri kick to the back of his head as now he could eliminate him and tried to get him over the top rope but David hung on as the fists and kicks hit him but he refused to let go he was toppled to the outside apron and was barely holding on as Del Rio rushed at him and DAVID PULLED THE ROPES DOWN AND ALBERTO DEL RIO IS ELIMINATED!

He got back into the ring and was quickly attacked by Dallas who grabbed him by the head and went up the top rope HE NAILS THE BODOG! The Red Dragon was down as he began to shout "I DID IT!" and was running around the ring HE GOT BROUGE KICKED! Dallas walked into one as Sheamus really wanted to do that as he picked up his lifeless body and threw him to Ziggler who ZIG ZAGGED HIM! As Ziggler was also wanting to do that David was now up and saw him down and was given a moment as he picked Dallas up onto his shoulders HE DROPS HIM WITH SEEING RED! He took him by his head and BO DALLAS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

It was down to the three as they all went at it with one hitting the other as David went for Ziggler he quickly super kicked him in the face as he and Sheamus squared off then began to struggle against the ropes as Ziggler was hanging on by a hand Sheamus tried to get him out but he got a hold of Sheamus's head and he threw him over and SHEAMUS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED! Ziggler couldn't believe he'd eliminated him as HE GOT KNOCKED OFF THE APRON AND DOLPH ZIGGLER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED! He was in shock and saw it was David who was the last man in the ring as he believed he had won the title until he saw Miz on the outside and tried to get him back in until HE WAS ATTACKED AND DAVID REDD HAS BEEN ELIMINATED?!

THE MIZ HAS WON THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

He looked up from the outside to see that he was eliminated by SETH ROLLINS?! The Authority's golden boy and all David could see was literally red and just chased him right out of there.

LATER ON

The cameras cut to Seth Rollins and David Redd brawling in the back as they went though the production crates and boxes then into steel grates and any equipment lying around as then officials, security and trainers tried to separate them as then coming between the melee was The Game.

"OK THAT'S IT!" he shouted as he looked to Rollins. "Looks like you've got a match tonight and guess what your both up next." he said making the impromptu matchup as they were both dragged out to the ring.

Second coming hit as Rollins made his way out holding his Money in the Bank briefcase he knew doing what he did would come back to get him just not this quickly, he reluctantly made his way down and into the ring and was arguing with the official.

OUT OF MY WAY!

Out of my way hit and running out and into the ring as David just tackled Rollins to the ground and the bell just rang.

He pummelled away at Rollins whop was trying to cover up but the blows kept on coming down on him but the referee had to try and separate them as he pulled David off Rollins slithered to the outside trying to get some distance as he turned around HE GOT FLOORED WITH A SENTON SPLASH!

David had taken him down as he bought him up and just bounced his head off the announce table and does it again and for a third time he does it and just threw him back into the ring as he took him up and nailed a snap suplex , 1-2-NO HE GOT THE SHOULDER UP! Bringing him up again and dropped him with a neck breaker then quickly went to the ropes and from the second ropes HE NAILS A MOONSAULT! 1-2-NO HE KICKS OUT!

He needed to end this and was going for his finisher as he took him up onto his shoulders but Rollins was holding onto the ropes as he struggled to get him off he then threw him to the outside but he landed on the apron as David turned to go after him he ducked a right and got a shoulder barge and followed it up by pulling his head down onto the ropes.

Rollins was in control now as he slipped back into the ring and began stomping on David as he furiously drove the boots into him and began trash talking him then the kicks started and followed up with fists and had backed him into the corner he then took some steps back and nailed a splash, then dropped him with a wicked kick to the back of his head, 1-2-NO HE GETS HIS SHOULDER UP!

Grabbing his head he began to drive the fists to his head and went up the top rope looking to hit a high risk move but from out of nowhere David climbed up to him and hit a huge uppercut as both men were precariously at the top as there was only one way down and from the top A SUPERPLX SENDING BOTH MEN CRASHING TO THE GROUND!

Both were down as the referee counted them to get back up and both men stirred as they struggled and were able to get to their feet as the drop took a lot out of them both they just stared each other down and went right at one another as it turned into a scuffle both guys had the other on the ground fists were flying as they were separated by the referee and within seconds were back at one another as David quickly connected with a dropkick as it sent Rollins to the corner and he looked to bulldoze him and SENTON SPL-NO ROLLINS GOT OUT OF THE WAY!

David hit the corner catching his own neck onto the corner turnbuckle as Rollins had his chance and from that HE HIT'S THE BLACKOUT! 1-2-THR-NO DAVID HAD HIS FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!

Rollins could not believe it as he began to argue with the referee as David fell to the outside and seeing him do so Rollins didn't waste time and from the ring HE CRASHED RIGHT INTO DAVID TO THE OUTSIDE! He had taken the match back as now he wanted to finish this and threw him back into the ring and looked to deck him with a clothesline as he went for it David saw it coming and got out of the way…HE HIT THE REFEREE BY ACCIDENT!

Seeing his error Rollins was then hit with a dropkick and rolled to the outside and went to the ring area as David followed him and went to drag him out ROLLINS NAILS HIM WITH THE BREIFCASE! He had knocked him out with the case and a lifeless David was his for the picking and dragged him back into the ring but brought his weapon with him.

He was lining him up for another shot…HE WAS ATTACKED BY DEAN AMBROSE!

Ambrose managed to get back into the arena and went right after his former friend and just beat him down then HE DROPS HIM WITH DIRTY DEEDS! Security rushed the ring to get him out as he ran off through the crowd and David seeing Rollins down he took advantage and had him up on his shoulders and HE NAILS SEEING RED! And decided to make a statement as HE LOCKS IN THE DRAGON TRAP!

The referee was stirring and he saw only one thing and ROLLINS TAPS OUT! He called for the bell and it was over and Both Ambrose and David got some measure of revenge.

LATER ON

David was cooling off after his victory over The Authority's Golden Boy as he was then stopped in his tracks by the man behind The Authority.

"David, I was hoping to catch you before you left to send my disappointment in you not winning the Intercontinental title but I am pleased you were able to get a well not fully deserved win but a win's a win." Hunter said.

"What do you want now?" David just bluntly asked.

"I'll cut to the chase, tomorrow night on Raw, we're going to make an offer even you can't refuse and believe me your going to want to hear us out." Hunter said leaving him with that thought.
