Chapter 10
*Peek out* Uhhh guys please before you start throwing knives at me because of the long update, please hear me out! *Coming out a bit* Uh this is the end of my term so uni assignments have been hectic and I got no time to write this at all. And my muse decide to leave me when I'm busy and it takes me a bit a while to get ideas for this story! So sorry! Here is chapter 10, mainly interaction between Natsume and Tsubaki, thank you so much for your support and review… Now that I only have 1 assignment left, hopefully I could write faster.

Tsubaki sits on the uncomfortable plastic chair, unmoving, his eyes is fix on his twin sleeping figure on the bed in front of him. He reaches out to his brother forehead and strokes it gently, soothing his brother, every time he twitches and mumbles in hi6s sleep. He was alone in the room, Masaomi had left to do his rounds. Suddenly the phone in his pocket started to ring, Tsubaki curses at his carelessness in forgetting to mute his phone.
"What is it!" He growls to the caller, softly as not to bother the sleeping occupant.
"Tsubaki." Natsume voice rang through the line, "What's wrong? Why are you angry? Is it Azusa?" Natsume on the other side of the call starts to panic at his older twin angry tone.
Tsubaki calms down, "Sorry Natsume, I did not know it was you." He quietly moves from the bed, "Azusa is sleeping right now." He glances at his sleeping twin, "The chemo really took a toll on him." He sighs.
Natsume is silent for a while, "I see. How long was the therapy?"
"It was around 3 to 4 hours, but it felt so long." Tsubaki feels tired as he recalled the memory of his twin crying.
"Tsubaki, Tsubaki." Natsume called at his brother when the line fell silent, "Oy Tsubaki, are you still the-"
"He was crying Natsume." Tears starts to stream down Tsubaki face once more, "He never cried before, but this time he cried and begged for it to stop. He begged me, Natsume." Tsubaki slid down on the wall until he sat on the floor; his eyes are wet with tears.
Natsume does not know how to respond to his brother anguish, "I'm sure he will be fine Tsubaki." his voice did not seem to hold much confidence, "How is he now?"
Tsubaki pulls himself up and went back to his chair, "He is fine now, I think. He hasn't experience any side effect but that's probably because he is sleeping." He brushes his brother hair softly, "Why don't you come here Natsume?"
"I will be there after my meeting is finish. In fact it's going to start soon, so see you later Tsubaki." He hangs up after hearing see you later from Tsubaki.
Tsubaki put his phone back into his pocket and leaned back on the chair. He sighs softly and bought his hands to rub his face, he then lower his head unto Azusa bed. The stress had caused him to drift off into a fitful slumber.
That's how Natsume inds him later on. Natsume hurried to the hospital, he is very anxious to see his older twins since his eldest brother informed him of Azusa condition. He quietly opens the door to his brother room and finds both of his older twins asleep. He stands by Azusa bed, and brushed his brother bangs before taking a seat beside the sleeping Tsubaki. He begins reading a book which Hikaru gave Azusa. An hour passes and his concentration is broken by the sound of his older twin mumbling. Natsume looked over to his left and found Tsubaki in the middle of a nightmare; he shook him, trying to get him awake.
"Ngh…Azusa…" Tsubaki moaned in his sleep, his voice is getting louder.
Natsume shook his brother up even harder to wake him, "Tsubaki, Hey." He called out, "Wake up Tsubaki!"
Tsubaki wakes up startled, "Azusa!" He wildly looks around before calming down when he sees his brother still sleeping on the bed in front of him. He is surprise to find his other twin sitting beside him.
"Natsume, when did you come?" He rubs his eyes and yawn.
Natsume huffs jokingly at his older twin, "I'm here for almost an hour. You were asleep when I came."
"Oh, how was the meeting?" Tsubaki asked,
Natsume did not have the chance to answer Tsubaki as a moan came from their sick twin. They both quickly take place beside their ailing twin.
Azusa slowly opens his eyes; he blinks a few times to adjust his eyes. He immediately saw Natsume and Tsubaki looking at him worriedly.
"ngh Tsu..*coughs*…*coughs*", thankfully Natsume seems to know what his twin needed.
"Here Azusa." Natsume offered the plastic cup with straw to his brother, Tsubaki on the other hand prop his brother into a sitting position.
Azusa sipps the water slowly and even doing such small task makes him very tired. He looks at Nastume, eyes shining with gratefulness.
Natsume chuckle, "Your welcome Azusa." He sits back and holds his brother hand, rubbing small circles gently. "How are you feeling?"
It took Azusa a while to answer, "dizzy…tired…" he closes his eyes for a moment, hoping the room would stop moving, making him a bit sick, he opens his eyes again after managing to swallow the bile.
Tsubaki saw how Azusa felt sick and tried to lighten the mood "Although you have been sleeping for almost three hours?" Tsubaki teased his brother, trying to quench his own worry, "I did not know you are such a sleepy head, dear brother."
Natsume laughed softly, while Azusa smiled softly. Then he winced at the sudden pain on his head, he bought his hand to his forehead. Putting both of his twin on alert
Azusa was busy on trying to calm his pounding head that he did not hear Tsubaki question until Tsubaki puts his hand on top Azusa's.
"Hmm what is it Tsubaki?"He whisper, his head is making him nauseous by the minute.
Tsubaki frown at Azusa, his twin is looking green around the gill with each passing moment. "I said, would you like me to fetch Jun-sensei?"He repeated the question.
Azusa doesn't want to worry his twin even more, but the pain in his head made him nod. Tsubaki was immediately on his feet, after a quick 'I will be back soon'and a short squeeze to Azusa hand; he left the room in search of the doctor. Leaving Azusa with Natsume.
Azusa wish that he could go back to that sweet oblivion just to escape the splitting pain in his head. Azusa would whimper, each time at the sudden pain from his headache, he totally forgot the other presence in the room. Natsume sat quietly in Tsubaki chair and softly pat Azusa head, saying reassuring words softly at Azusa, each time his older twin whimpers.
Natsume is on the verge of going after Tsubaki and drag the doctor, when the door open and Tsubaki enters the room along with the doctor. Tsubaki immediately take his former place while Jun-sensei went to Azusa opposite side. He softly called out to Azusa, "Azusa-kun can you hear me?"
Azusa blinks slowly, and turned his head towards the doctor. Jun could see the perspiration on his patient forehead, he check his patient vital and listen to his breathing. Natsume and Tsubaki all the while observe quietly.
"Don't worry, Azusa-kun is just feeling the side—effects of the treatment." Jun said, as if reading the two thoughts. "Azusa-kun, from one to ten how would you rate your pain." Looking at his patient calmly.
It took a while for Azusa to register his doctor question, "eight." He wince when the pain suddenly attacks his head again.
"I will ask the nurse to bring you a mild pain reliever."He smiles warmly. Jun then excuse himself and went to find a nurse.
Both Natsume and Tsubaki went to calm and help their brother. Azusa smiles to assure both his brother a bit, and it seems to have work since both of the brother smiles back. A moment later, a nurse came into the room and handed Natsume a small cup. Inside the cup lays two white tablet, the pain reliever as promised by the doctor.
Tsubaki help his brother into a sitting position to take the medicine. He ends up supporting his brother since Azusa can't hold himself up. Not long Azusa fell back into a deep comforting slumber, surely the pain reliever had worked since their brother is now free from pain, for now at least.
Tsubaki and Natsume look at each other and sigh in relief, finally their brother is pain free. They both sat down and quietly watch their sleeping brother.
They both hope that the next day would be better.

I'm afraid, my muse is still on holiday and I havne't have any slightest clue what should I write for the next chapter. So it might be a while before I could update the next.
