A/N: Sorry for the wait. School has been crappy lately. Anyways... chapter summary, the Cullens ask Scarlette and her pride questions. Also it seems I have left out Emmet's mate, so she will appear in this chapter.

Bellpov

We were all sitting in an uncomfortable silence. I really wanted to talk to Rose and tell her why I kept being a werecat a secret, but I couldn't until this meeting was over and my Alpha said the pride could do as they pleased. It occurred to me that one member of the family was missing. I looked to Emmet and saw that he wasn't worried about where his mate was. I was starting to get a little restless. My cat didn't like the fact that it's imprint wasn't next to it. Rose noticed my fidgeting and came to sit next to me. As I was about to say something to break the silence Carlisle beat me to it.

"I understand that my family is curious about why Bella didn't tell us she was a werecat, but that is something she will tell us when ready. So, my question is why do all your eyes change color when you shift? Excluding Skyler."

"I'm sure Bella appreciates your understanding Carlisle. As for your question. Our eyes change color to show how strong we are. We think Skyler's don't change because she is half vampire but we are not sure." Scarlette answered his question after sending me a glare. She must be mad that I didn't tell my imprint and her family the truth about who I am.

"Why are your spots blue instead of black?" Leave it to Alice to ask about appearance. I almost rolled my eyes but a very low waring growl let me know that it would be a bad idea. I looked over to Scar again and sure enough she's glaring at me again. I really just want to take Rose to her room so we can talk.

"My spots change color whenever I change my hair color. They just stay a lighter shade so I can still hide from humans."

"Skyler mentioned that Angela was her imprint. What is that exactly?" A serious question from Jasper. Shocker.

"I know that you know some shifters and I'm sure they've mentioned it before." She gets nods all around. "Now you get the details. Imprinting is when a Werecreature or a Shifter finds their soulmate. Suddenly it's not gravity holding you to the earth anymore it's them. The most important thing to you is the happiness of your imprint. You become whatever they need, whether it's a friend, sister, brother, protector, or lover. You can never harm your imprint and if they reject you it can be dangerous for the imprinter and imprintee." Guess she's leaving it to us cats to tell our imprints about the more intimate parts of imprinting.

"Why the hell are there so many people in our living room?" A voice said from the doorway. Emmet immediately rushed over to his mate.

"How are the sisters Kate?" I ask from my spot on the couch.

"They're good. They miss you guys though. The last time we all went up to see them was a year ago." Kate finishes with a little pout.

"Anyways... there are so many people here because we are having a meeting. Right now your family is asking my pride questions about our species." I answer her question from when she first walked in.

"I knew you weren't human!" Kate shouts. I hear a growl from next to me and see Rose glaring daggers at Kate.

"How did you know?!" Rose growls out at Kate.

"I'm thousands of years old. It's easier for me to pick up on stuff like that. I just didn't know what species she was." Kate answers calmly.

"Are there any other questions? I would like to finish this meeting so my pride and I can go home and sleep because unlike you vampires we need to rest before we go to school." Scarlette said.

"Just one last question and we can wrap things up." I'm pretty sure I know what Emmet is going to ask. "Can we wrestle after school tomorrow?" He asks with a giant grin that quickly falls when Kate slaps him upside the head.

"It was just a question babe. No need to be violent."

"There is when your husband acts like he's twelve." Kate says.

"If that's it we will be leaving know. Bella you can stay here if you want to." Scarlette says. I can know the underlying meaning of her last statement.

"It was a pleasure to meet you all." Carlisle says with a gentle smile.
