Sakura stomped back to the house, taking her anger out on the ground and feeling it edge away. She took a deep breath before going inside to greet her sensei. He was sitting at the table with his eyes closed. He opened them only to glance at her when she walked in.

"Sakura you'll be guarding Tazuna at the bridge today." So, not training then. Sakura hid her disappointment.

Tazuna soon came into the room and beckoned her to follow him. He tried to laugh and joke with her as they traveled, but it didn't get much of a response from Sakura. It was silent for awhile, before Tazuna broke the silence with a question.

"So… where'd you learn to use the weapons you had earlier? Your teammates didn't seem to know about them at all."

"That's because I didn't learn it from Kakashi sensei." I didn't learn anything from him, she added in her head. "My sister's fiancé taught me some basics. He gave me the senbon awhile ago, but didn't really mean for me to use them. It was more of a just in case thing."

"Just in case? Isn't it dangerous to have a weapon you don't know how to use?"

This made Sakura slightly annoyed. "I do know how to use it! I know how and where to throw it to make it lethal or not, whichever I choose. I know what point on the body to hit and avoid. It's important for a kunoichi to have a well rounded skill set, meaning knowledge in multiple weapons."

Tazuna held up his hands in surrender They soon reached the bridge. There were workers and heavy equipment everywhere. Many immediately turned to greet Tazuna upon their arrival; Sakura received a few small smiles and nods. Tazuna began giving instructions while Sakura stood off to the side.

Not much happened; overall it was quite boring. After about an hour of working though, there was suddenly a loud bang. A few workers had been carrying a large metal beam and had dropped it. It landed on one of their legs. Sakura quickly ran over to lift it off. She did this quicker then anyone else, and lifted it herself.

"Kid… how did you do that?" Tazuna questioned as Sakura placed the beam on the ground. She sent him a confused look. "That weighs 300 pounds!" Sakura's eyes widened and she sent him a sheepish grin, scratching the back of her head.

"Ninja." One of the men laughed, "What do you expect." The rest joined in then got back to work.

Sasuke sat at the top of a tree, finally having succeeded in climbing it. He didn't mean what he said to Sakura, at least, not all of it. He did see her as annoying and weak. But he knew she wasn't useless. And he knew that all he said about kunoichi was wrong. If his mother were still around she'd of slapped him for that. Of course, he'd never admit any of this out loud.

What she said about her sister brought back memories.

Itachi had just entered anbu. He was rarely home at that point, even though he was only eleven. Sasuke was playing one room away from the entry way to the house when he heard talking. He snuck over to the doorway to eavesdrop investigate.

"Father, Mother, this is my captain, Belladonna." Sasuke grinned, it was his brother talking; he was home.

"Belladonna who?" Sasuke winced that stoney voice could only be his father.

"I do not have a last name, I was orphaned when I was a baby." This voice belonged to a woman Sasuke didn't recognize.

"So you are clanless then."

"Yes." The woman spoke again. "Anyway, Itachi just completed his first major mission. I came here for two reasons." There was a pause. "One, as Itachi is so young I was informed that you would most likely want to meet his captain. And two, he injured his arm. It was healed but he is advised to not do anything strenuous for a few days. I was certain he would not tell you this and I wanted you to know."

After she finished he heard his mother begin to fuss over his brother and his brother insist he was fine. He chose that moment to go into the hallway.

"Nee-san!" he Joyously yelled, jumping on his brother, who lifted him with his good arm. Sasuke was finally able to look at the woman.

Her hair was very long and was dark brown. Her eyes were…

"You're eyes are weird." Children have no filter. Mikoto, and Itachi began to scold him, his brother putting him down and looking embarrassed. The woman however, just smiled and let out a small laugh.

"It's fine, Itachi san, Mikoto sama." She turned to Sasuke and knelt down on one knee to be at his level. "That's true, though not many people notice. Most just assume they're silver or a light gray. You have a good eye, Sasuke kun." Sasuke's eyes widened.

"How did you know my name?"

She winked at him, "It's a secret." She stood back up.

Mikoto smiled and offered for Belladonna to stay awhile. She declined.

"I can't. I have quite a bit of paperwork to do, and then a meeting at T and I hq." She bowed to his mother and father. Then turned to Itachi and ruffled his hair. "Two days Itachi, I better not see you at the headquarters." And then she left, Itachi's face was red.

Sasuke groaned. He made a mistake and wasn't sure he could fix it. As he headed back to the house he heard the sound of kunai hitting a tree. He stayed out of sight as he approached the source.

Sakura was throwing kunai at a target she made on the tree. There were several other targets around her. He watched as she threw all of them one by one at the tree directly in front of her. After she threw the last one she yanked her hand back in an odd movement. Sasuke activated his sharingan to see better.

Sakura had attached chakra strings to her kunai. When she moved her arm she had pulled all of them back to her hand. The strings disappeared as she threw them again, all at once.

Not a single one missed.

As Sakura wiped sweat from her brow and went to collect her weapons, Sasuke deactivated his sharingan and left.

A/n

I had this written forever ago, I don't know why I didn't post it. One of the reasons I like reviews is because it reminds me I should work on these stories. Speakingof reminders, I have a book to read and an essey to write for school next month. I should probably start that…

Anyway, I don't plan on making this a sasusaku fic, but idk. I'll see when I get there. Also, Belladonna does have a kekkai genkai. It probably wont come up at all in the story, but I'll explain it here.

Belladonna's eyes are referred to as gray (by herself) or silver (by Genma and Sakura). Really, the irises are more… kind of clouded. Like there's a fog over them. Young Sasuke noticed this, though not many do. When Bella activates her ability her iris turnes completely clear. When this happens she loses all emotion, the perfect ninja. She can also erase the emotions of others, but it takes a lot of chakra and only lasts a short time (ie the length of a battle). She doesn't use it often as it doesn't do much. It wont come up again in the fanfiction (I think) so I thought I'd just explain it here.

Bye.
