Dead Weight
Troy handed Trevor his M4 and the Governor picked up the little girl and let Troy pull her up. Martinez handed a guy named, Mitch, his SMG and dropped a rope down to the Governor and he climbed up and out of the pit. Troy, Martinez, and everyone else who were over there, were just looking at the Governor as he stood up.
"You know this guy?" Mitch asked Martinez.
"So you've been on the road all this time?" Martinez asked the Governor.
The Governor looked at Troy then back at Martinez. "Yeah." He answered.
"Brian. You okay, Brian?" One of the girls they saved asked the Governor. Martinez looked at the Governor because he noticed he changed his name.
Troy went over to Amanda. "Radio the group. Tell them to let those people go." Troy said.
"Why the sudden change of heart?" Amanda asked.
"It's not a change of heart. With this guy around, there's no telling what'll happen." Troy answered.
"We've got a camp about a half a mile from here." Martinez said to the Governor.
"H*ll no, Martinez. We got too many mouths as it is." Mitch said.
"They got a kid for Christ's sake." Mitch's brother, Pete, said.
"What about the f***ers holding our people up?" Mitch asked.
"Relax, a**hole. It was called off." Troy said.
"Hey, if you come back with us, there's two things you got to accept. One, I'm in charge. Two, no dead weight. That goes for everyone." Martinez said to The Governor. "Same thing goes for you. If you stand down, we might consider a truce." He said to Troy.
"I already called it off. We'll cooperate if you do." Troy said.
"Deal. Remember, contribute or be cast out. Can you live with that, Troy? Brian?" Martinez asked.
Troy and The Governor shook Martinez's hand, agreeing.

Martinez's Camp
Some of the Night Raiders drove some of the Army trucks back to the station while Troy, Trevor, Amanda, and some others stayed at Martinez's camp. Troy, The Governor, and Martinez went into The Governor's R.V to talk. "So, Troy, tell me what happened a few days ago. With Shumpert." Martinez said.
"He and some others came up to us. Demanded he wanted to speak to the leader, which is me." Troy said.
"And?" Martinez asked.
"We killed them. But lost six men in the process." He answered.
"Why did you come here in the first place?" The Governor asked.
"Honestly, we came to kill everyone here." Troy said.
"What's stopping you?" The Governor asked.
"You." Troy said. The Governor and Martinez were surprised that he said that. "That's why I agreed to a truce. I can't lose anymore men. And this camp isn't exactly secure enough to protect this many people." Troy said.
"So?" Martinez asked.
"We have a very secure place. It's a National Guard Station a few miles up the road. It's very secure, we have lots of food and water, and we have electricity. Interested?" Troy asked.
Martinez and The Governor looked at each other. The Governor hesitated. "(sigh) He's right." The Governor said.
"What?" Martinez said.
"This place isn't safe enough. And that National Guard station could be a good place to keep my family safe." The Governor said.
"You can't be serious, can you?! He's obviously leading us into a trap! He remembers what happened last year so he wants to get rid of us so the same thing doesn't happen again." Martinez said.
"Martinez, you don't really believe I'd risk that do you? For f**k's sake, if I was going to kill you, you'd be dead by now. I don't need to lead you into anything to take you down. The Night Raiders are too tough for you to handle! Now do you want to go or are you going to stay here where a walker herd can come right through and destroy this place?" Troy asked.
"You two done, yet? If so, we have a run to go on soon and I'd suggest we get ready before nightfall come." The Governor said.
Martinez stormed out of the R.V.
"Let's go. We have a run to go on." The Governor said. They both exited the R.V.
Later, The Governor, Troy, Martinez, Trevor, Mitch, and Pete were walking in the forest to do a run. "How's the fishing?" The Governor asked.
"There isn't any. Pond's dead." Pete said.
"As a doornail." Trevor said.
"We still got rabbits, skunks, some possum out here. You better watch your a**, One Eye Bri." Mitch joked.
"You sure we're heading in the right direction?" Troy asked.
"If Howard's map is right." Martinez answered.
"We should of dragged his a** out here to make sure." Mitch said.
"He's an old man. He can barely walk."
"That's why I said dragged. Hope this is worth it."
"Supposedly this guy was a survivalist type. His cabin might have stuff we can use." Troy said.
"H*ll, maybe he's still alive." Trevor said.
"I won't keep my fingers crossed." Mitch said.
The Governor drew his pistol and started walking the other direction. "Hey, One Eye. What you doing?" Mitch asked.
The Governor kept moving towards his concern with the group following him. He came across a body with army clothes and without a head, tied to a tree with a sign on it that said, 'LIAR'. "The h*ll is this?" Trevor asked.
"Somebody p***ed somebody off. That guy's got nothing to worry about anymore." Troy said.
"Let's go." Martinez said. They proceeded on.
Hiding nearby, somebody was watching them.
They made it to the cabin. They came across another army guy with his head gone and was tied to a chair. The sign on it said, 'RAPIST'. They looked at it for a little then kept moving towards the cabin. They went through the door to the porch and saw another army guy but with his head all bloody, laying against the cabin wall. The sign on him said, 'MURDERER'. "Took himself out. You think he's the one who 86'd those military guys?" Mitch asked.
"He still has his head. Some of it, anyway." Troy said.
The Governor picked up a photograph of the guy and his family.
"Let's see what he's got inside." Martinez said.
Martinez opened the cabin door slowly and looked inside. Pete started hitting the wall with his hand and Troy was whistling for any walkers inside to hear. "You hear that? There's one in there." Martinez said.
"Must be stuck if it ain't coming out." Trevor said.
We going in?" Pete asked Martinez.
"You want us to wait till you finish p***ing in your pants?" Mitch asked.
"No, I'm-"
"Cut the chatter. Let's go." Martinez said.
The Governor went in first, slowly. They all had flashlights. They were checking each room and corner carefully. They all started moving down a hallway carefully and then they heard more thumping. "It's close." Pete said.
"Quiet." Troy said.
They slowly and carefully went into the room where they heard the noises. The thumping started to get louder and a little closer. "It's out." Pete whispered.
"Shut up." The Governor whispered back.
Suddenly, the walker came from behind Pete and grabbed him. "Oh! Get it off of me! Get it off of me!" Pete was yelling. The Governor grabbed the walker off of him and slammed it to the floor. Then he started beating it with his pistol until it was dead. Pete was on the floor getting ready to sit up when two walker heads next to him tried to bite him. He backed away and Troy helped him up. A walker grabbed Martinez from behind and The Governor pulled it off and beat it with his flashlight until it was dead.
Later (night)...
The Governor, Troy, Mitch, Trevor, and Pete were sitting around the fireplace. The Governor was looking at a photo of Lily, Tara, and Meghan. "If it were just you in that pit, I wouldn't brought you into the camp. If it weren't for the people you were with...the girl. You seem different now. Changed. So do you, Troy. Are you?" Martinez said.
The Governor nodded. "...I am."
"I became what I've wanted to be for the longest. The leader of a large group. Just like old Bill. So if that answers your question, then yeah. I've changed." Troy said.
"Good." Martinez said.
Mitch, Trevor, and Pete came back from getting food and drinks from the kitchen. "The guy had some good stuff." Mitch said putting the box down. He started pulling out the stuff. "Canned food. Ooh. We got beer." Mitch said cheerfully. He tossed each of them one.
"Man, what happened here? I mean, what the h*ll was going on in this cabin? Was he storing those biters?" Trevor asked.
"They were his wife and kid, man." Martinez said.
"No, they were biters. What about those heads?" Pete asked.
"Belonged to the guys who did the wrong thing to the wrong man." Troy said.
"It's probably best not to think too much about it." The Governor said.
"Better listen to One Eye Bri. I can never tell if he's winking or blinking. But you know how to regulate, don't you, Bri?" Mitch asked The Governor. He didn't say anything. "He was always like this, Martinez? Troy?" He asked.
"I wouldn't know." Troy said.
"He was. Ice in the veins. You should have seen him back in the day." Martinez said.
"What about you fellas, huh? What did you do before it all changed?" The Governor asked.
"I was...I was an ice cream truck driver. Till I upgraded my life and I became a tank operator for the US Army. Hoo-ah." Mitch said. "Then when everything went tits up, I got the h*ll out and took my ride with me. End of the world don't mean s**t when you got a tank." Mitch said.
"True that. The National Guard station my crew's staying at has a lot of army artillery and weaponry. It's good s**t." Troy said.
"I'm guessing nobody f**ks with you, huh? Well, besides that little incident a while back. But come on, we're past that, aren't we?" Mitch said.
"Yeah. I guess so." Trevor said.
"I was Army, too. Stationed out of Fort Benning. Stayed for a while after it all started." Pete said.
"That's my Pete. He's too loyal to bounce." Mitch said.
"What about you, Brian? What did you do when it all went bad?" Pete asked the Governor.
"I survived." The Governor said.
The next morning...
The Governor, Troy, Martinez, Amanda, Lily, Tara, Alicia, and Meghan were sitting at a bench under an umbrella, eating lunch, drinking, and having fun. Martinez was telling a funny story. "Wait, your father was a catholic priest?" Tara laughed.
"That's right." Martinez said.
"So the father became a daddy?" Amanda asked.
"It caused some problems with the Church a little bit. This is all stuff Brian's heard before before. We spent a lot a time out there together." Martinez said.
"You've done all right here. I mean this camp. It's the first time I've felt since all this started." Lily said.
"The place Brian and I lived before kind of worked. I guess I wanted that again." Martinez said.
"Sounds like your old camp was pretty sweet." Alicia said.
"Our home is much better." Amanda said.
"How so?" Alicia asked.
"Well, we have fences, military supplies and vehicles, and electricity. I've been watching whatever movies I could find for the past few months. But I admit, Woodbury was better than that Howes furniture store we were living in." Troy said.
"Yeah. Yeah, it was..." Martinez said.
"This place is good too, right?" Meghan asked.
"You know it." Martinez said.
"I want to hear all about it. Brian won't say a word." Lily said.
"Well, I say leave the past in the past." The Governor said, grabbing all the used plates.
"Well, I'm gonna go. I have a sword to sharpen and guns to clean." Amanda said, getting up. Everyone else started getting up and leaving.
"Later, muñeca." Martinez said.
"Hey, Troy. Let me talk to you for a minute." The Governor said.
"What's up?" He asked.
"This camp, it's not safe, I can tell. Your camp. The National Guard station. It sounds really safe. I mean, you got fences, military weaponry and vehicles, electricity. I want to move in there with you all." The Governor said.
"Wow. So The Governor comes to me, Bill's right-hand man, for help? You've changed drastically since I last saw you fighting like a real leader." Troy said.
"Just tell me. Are you going to accept or refuse?" The Governor asked.
"The only problem with this is Martinez. I don't think he's down with it. He acts like he doesn't give a s**t whenever I mention it." Troy said.
"What? You want me to kill him or something?" The Governor asked.
"I didn't say that. That's not my choice. Now, personally, after getting to know Martinez, I think he's a great guy. You do whatever you need to make sure your new family gets to a safe place. I'm not saying to kill him, that's your choice. So what're you gonna do?" Troy asked.
"I'll think about it." The Governor said.
"Think fast. You'll never know what else could go down here." Troy said and walked away.
The Governor just stared with craziness in his eyes.
Hiding in the woods, the same person from before was watching.
Later...
Later, Martinez came to The Governor in his R.V and asked if he wanted to golf with him and Troy. The Governor agreed.
The Governor and Martinez were on top of a R.V away from the camp. Martinez was drinking and hitting golf balls. Troy was relaxing on a lounge chair just beside the R.V.
"You know, I got to tell you, Shumpert wasn't really the same after Woodbury." Martinez said.
"How so?" The Governor asked.
"He got reckless. Reckless people do stupid things. Like confronting a large group armed with military weapons." Martinez said and looked at Troy.
"When we had that shootout which unfortunately killed Shumpert...I swear when we were gunning everyone down with miniguns...he didn't move out of the way. I guess he wanted a fight. And I guess, he wanted to die. Sorry." Troy said.
"There's some things you just can't come back from. They become a part of who you are. Either you live with them or you don't." Martinez said, taking a drink.
"Well, you seem to be living with them pretty well." The Governor said.
"So are you." Martinez with a laugh.
"That family, they brought you back." Troy said.
"Yeah. You're lucky. I couldn't-I couldn't do that again. Couldn't risk it. Couldn't sleep at night knowing I was gonna lose them." Martinez said.
"I'm not gonna lose them." The Governor said.
"Yeah."
"What, you think you can't keep this place safe? If not, there's always Troy's place." The Governor said.
"I'll try to keep this place safe. Hopefully we'll be prepared for whatever comes. Now that you guys are here, maybe we can share the crown a little." Martinez said, hitting another golf ball. After he said that, The Governor looked at him from behind angrily. He then looked at Troy for confirmation for what he's about to do. Troy nodded.
Martinez hit another golf ball and it missed it's target. "Oh, Jesus. I should have taken some golf lessons before the-" Before Martinez could finish, he is hit in the back of the head with a golf club by the Governor. Martinez was on the R.V roof moaning in pain and holding his head. The Governor then kicked him off the roof of the R.V and he fell to the ground.
"T-Troy...help. Please." Martinez said while on the ground.
"Sorry, Martinez. But there can only be one crown." Troy said, still relaxing on the lounge chair.
The Governor jumped off the R.V roof and started dragging Martinez towards the walker pits. Martinez was trying to break free but it was no use. "I don't wanna do it!" The Governor yelled as he got to the walker pit. "I don't want it! I don't want it! You hear me? I don't want it, d**n it!" The Governor yelled, holding him by the neck over the pit, with the walkers grabbing Martinez's shoulders and head. The Governor held him down far enough for the walkers to start biting and eating his shoulders. The Governor let him go and the walkers pulled him into the pit and started eating Martinez while he screamed in pain.
"I don't want it. I don't want it." The Governor said quietly to himself, as the screaming started to get lower and lower, until it was silent.
The next day...
The entire camp, including the Night Raiders who are still there, were all together for an announcement. "Everybody, listen up!" Trevor shouted. They got quiet.
"We found what was left of Martinez in a pit this morning." Mitch said. The crowd gasped in surprise. "Looks like he was hitting some golf balls, he got drunk, he fell in." Mitch continued. The crowd started murmuring and some were in denial.
"So now what?" Tara asked.
"I'm taking leadership of the camp." Pete said, stepping up.
"No. No!" People were saying.
"Hold on. Hold on now!" Pete said.
"No. We should vote on who leads, right?" An old guy said. The crowd was agreeing.
"You can't just take over!" Tara said.
"Shut your mouth, you little b***h." Mitch said.
"What?!" Tara yelled.
This got the crowd into a frenzy.
"Hey! Calm, down! All of you! Troy has something to say." Trevor yelled.
Troy stepped up. "We have a safe place for you. It's a National Guard station. We have fences, lots of food, vehicles, weapons, water, electricity. It's the perfect place. We'd be more than happy to let you all join." Troy said. The crowd started murmuring. Some in excitement. "But there's one thing you'll have to agree with. I'm the leader. Which means you do what I say. You follow my rules." Troy said.
"Now, hold on! Wait a minute! You can't just go around suggesting stuff. I'm second in command of this camp. Which means I'm in charge." Pete said.
"Oh, but you don't have the fences, do ya? You don't have the warm indoors, the weapons, the electricity. You know this camp isn't gonna last much longer out here. I've seen it happen before. Now, do you want to stay out here? Or do you want a leader who can actually LEAD and have a safe place to live? " Troy said. Pete just stared at Troy.
"(sigh) What do you think, Mitch?" Pete asked.
"Sounds like a good place. Troy's a sonuvab***h. I guess I'll go with it." Mitch said.
"If you think we should go, raise your hand." Pete said to the crowd.
Some of them raised their hands. After murmuring to each other, the rest raised their hands as well.
"Okay. We'll head out tomorrow." Pete said. "Everybody back to business."
"You heard the man. Move!" Mitch yelled, staring at Tara. The crowd dispersed.
Amanda came over to Troy. "Troy, do you even know if we have any room for all these people?" Amanda asked.
"I don't know. But I need them to come. The Governor could help me get revenge on the group that group that killed the last of my old group. Now with the Night Raiders and these people combined, there's no way they could win in a fight." Troy said.
"So this is all part of your plan?" She asked.
"Yeah." Troy said.
"Okay. But I don't know how everyone back home is going to react." Amanda said.
"I want you to head back. Let them know ahead of time. I don't want them being caught off guard and causing another massacre." Troy said.
"I'm on it. I'll take one of the Army trucks." Amanda said and walked off.
Pete and Troy went over to the Governor. "Gear up. We're going on a hunt." Pete said to the Governor.
Troy, The Governor, Pete, and Mitch were walking in the woods, looking for food. "Rationing, fences, medical supplies. Those are pretty hard to come buy these days. There are 100 questions and people looked to me for answers. I guess joining you isn't a bad idea after all." Pete said to Troy.
"Don't get me wrong, Pete. It is pretty hard being leader. People always coming to you for help, having to command and plan raids or attacks or whatever, people judging you as leader. But it's something I've always wanted to do. And I seem to manage just fine." Troy said.
Mitch whispered for the three of them to come to where he is. They ran to him and saw a camp of around ten people. They had plenty of food. "How many?" Troy asked.
"Ten. Maybe less. They got a lot of supplies, though." Mitch said.
"Maybe we should take 'em in." Pete said.
"Are you crazy? We barely have enough to go around as it is. Look, Pete, I know you don't want to hurt nobody. Neither do I. But we need those supplies. Now let's just go over there and take what we need and go. No rough stuff." Mitch said.
"You want to rob 'em?" Pete asked.
"Why not? We need their stuff." Mitch said.
"Does it really matter? We're leaving tomorrow anyway." Troy asked.
"We need some food for tonight and the morning. The people are hungry." Mitch said. "Look, Pete, they got guns, but if we roll up on 'em quick-"
"No." Pete said. "No. We can find our own supplies. Come on." Pete said, getting up and walking away. Mitch reluctantly followed. Troy and the Governor looked at each other then followed.
The guy that's been spying on them came out from behind some trees and walked towards that camp.
A little later, Mitch and Troy came back from hunting squirrels. "What a joke." Mitch said.
"We did all right." Pete said.
"Yeah, a couple of d**n squirrels, some condensed milk." Mitch said, holding up the squirrels.
"What do you want from me? I'm trying here." Pete said.
Something caught the Governor's attention and he started walking towards it. "Where you going?" Troy asked. Troy, Mitch, and Pete followed him.
They got to that camp they found and saw that it was raided. All the people were dead. "Son of a b***h. Son of a b***h!" Mitch yelled, throwing down the squirrels.
"This wasn't biters. People did this. Must've just happened." The Governor said.
"We would have had those supplies." Mitch said, angrily searching for anything left behind.
"You're worried about supplies? These people are dead, Mitch." Pete said.
"You're d**n right they're dead! That was gonna happen either way. Now some other group's got our stuff!" Mitch yelled.
"Mitch, keep your voice down. There's still the threat of walkers." Troy said. "This is all f***ed up." He said.
One of the guy's on the ground was alive. He started moaning and slightly put up his hands. Mitch thought he was turning and went over to stab him in the head. "Mitch. Mitch, no!" Pete shouted, but Mitch stabbed him already right as the guy was waking up. Mitch realized he killed a live man. "He might have lived." Pete said.
"Might have." Mitch said, walking away. Pete picked up the squirrels and followed.
"Looks like you have to take care of someone else before we leave for the station. Pete's weakness is going to cause some problems. We can't have that." Troy said to the Governor and walked after Pete and Mitch. The Governor followed.
(Quick A/N: I decided to skip the scenes when the Governor tries leaving with his new family. It did happen but since it doesn't have anything to do with our characters, I decided to leave it out.)
The next day...
The Governor went to Pete's R.V the next morning and knocked on the door. Pete opened the door. "We need to talk." The Governor said.
"About Mitch. (sigh) Come in." Pete said, letting him in. "I knew this was coming. I've been getting him out of trouble my-" Before Pete could finish, The Governor covered his mouth and started stabbing him in the back. Pete fell to the floor and The Governor started choking him. Pete tried to pry his hands off but it did nothing.
"Shh. Shh." The Governor was saying as Pete choked to death.
The Governor took Pete's dead body to the lake and dumped him in.
After killing Pete,
The Governor went to Troy afterwards. "I did that thing you suggested yesterday." The Governor said.
"What, about Pete?" Troy asked.
"Yeah. He's dead." The Governor said.
"Good. I knew you'd go through with it. Actually, I never really doubted you. You'd kill anyone to keep your family safe, right?" Troy asked. The Governor nodded.
"Good. Now let's visit Pete. We got to make sure he knows where his place is in this new management." Troy said.
They went to Mitch's R.V. The Governor knocked on the door with his bloody hand. Mitch answered the door and was surprised to see an Ak-47 and a pistol pointed at him. The Governor motioned for him to get back. They went into the R.V and closed the door. The Governor sat across from Mitch with his gun still pointed at him. "Where's Pete?" Mitch asked.
"He's dead." The Governor said.
Mitch angrily stood up but Troy pointed his AK at him. "You gonna kill me, too, now? Huh? For the old guy at the camp?" Mitch asked. The Governor motioned for him to sit back down and Mitch did what he wanted.
"Smoke?" Troy asked, lighting one himself then tossing the pack to Mitch. But he ignored it.
"Why did you do that to my brother?" Mitch asked, almost crying.
"You were right about that camp. We should have taken their supplies. I don't care that you killed the old man. Men like your brother, always doing the right thing, even at the cost of their own people." The Governor said. "Go on. Have a cigarette." He added.
"I quit." Mitch said.
"Yeah, me, too." The Governor said.
"I didn't." Troy said.
"I remember the first smoke I ever had. Me and my brother huddled in the garage puffing on one of my dad's Lucky Strikes. He must've smelled the smoke, because he barging in looking to beat up on us. But my brother got between us. Said he stole them. Wasn't true. It was me. But that was my brother. Hero. He got two black eyes and a broken rib for that. And I got beat anyway. Take one." The Governor said. Mitch took one and put it in his mouth.
"We're running things now, and we're going to Troy's place, and I will do whatever it takes to protect these people." Troy said.
"Now, if you join us, I promise you will never have to worry about whether you were doing the right thing or the wrong thing. Because we will do the only thing." The Governor said. Troy lit Mitch's cigarette.
"What are we going to tell the camp about Pete?" Mitch asked.
"We'll tell them he died on a supply run saving our a**es." Troy said.
"You think they're really gonna believe that?" Mitch asked.
"People believe what they want to believe. Everybody loves a hero." Troy said, smiling evilly.
Later...
Troy, Amanda, Trevor, and some other Night Raiders were helping members of the camp pack up and load supplies, equipment, food, and weapons into the Army trucks. The Governor, Troy, Mitch, Amanda, Trevor, Tara, Alicia, and some others were having a small meeting. "Sure we're going to be able to load all this stuff in the trucks?" The Governor asked.
"We have plenty of around here to fill up." Alicia said.
"Not all of these vehicles will hold everyone." Amanda said.
"We'll mainly use transportation for the supplies. Everyone else will just walk with the convoy." Trevor said.
"How you doing on ammo?" Troy asked.
"Solid. I rounded up all the ammo in camp. We're officially stocked in the bullet department." Tara said.
"Still, tell your crews to arm themselves with arrows only. Troy's crew will handle the artillery." The Governor said.
"Sooner or later, we'll all need 'em." Mitch said.
"That's right." The Governor said. "Mitch, Troy, and I and Pete, we saw what people can do out there. If we come across any strangers, you just avoid them. Let the trained professionals handle it." The Governor said.
"Mitch, you take your tank. You'll be in the front. If there's a large group of walkers, the tank can handle it. But don't shoot off any rounds, okay? That's gonna draw a heard. Now, everyone, make sure you stay close to the vehicles. They'll be going slow so if walkers show up, you can hop in fast so we can get out of there in one piece. Understand?" Troy said.
"Alright, let's go." The Governor said.
Before they headed out, the Governor went to where he dumped Pete in the lake. He was watching as the walker version of Pete was growling and clawing at him from the water. The Governor just blankly stared at it. He then left to join the others.
In the woods near the lake, the mysterious guy was watching The Governor walk away.
The trucks were finished being loaded with supplies and the convoy started slowly driving to the National Guard station. Some people sat in the while others walked next to the convoy.
When they got to the station, two Night Raiders opened the gates. They drove in and all the vehicles stopped in the parking lot. "Everybody, follow me." Troy said, getting out of one of the trucks. They followed him, Troy, and Amanda inside. They were greeted by Night Raiders looking at them.
"How many people do you have?" Tara asked.
"About 30." Trevor said.
"There are no beds here. So you'll have to use the tents we packed." Troy said. Everyone started walking around and doing their own things. Some were meeting Night Raiders.
The Governor came to Troy. "This place isn't bad. Lily and Meghan will be watching movies tonight." The Governor said.
"No problem. Just remember what I did. Maybe you'll help me do something when I need it." Troy said.
Later that day, at Night, Amanda came to Troy in his office. "Troy, we have a problem." Amanda said.
"S**t. What is it now?" Troy asked.
"I was right. This place isn't big enough for everyone. We have at least around fifteen people with nowhere o put their stuff or to sleep." Amanda said.
"F**k. Well, maybe this is for the best. Maybe Brian will be willing to help me with something." Troy said.
"Help you with what?" Amanda asked.
"If this place isn't big enough, he's going to want to find a new place. That prison, home to the people who killed my crew, it's the perfect place. I could get him to help me take 'em out." Troy said.
"You think he'll be up for it?" Amanda asked.
"He will. No doubt about that. He hates those people more than I do." Troy said.
"Hey, Brian, let me talk to you." Troy said, walking up to him in the cafeteria.
"I thought you said this was a good place to stay." The Governor said angrily.
"I know. I know. I had no idea there wouldn't be enough room for everyone." Troy said.
"So what the h*ll am I supposed to do now? What about Lily and Meghan?" The Governor asked.
"I already thought of an idea. Rick and the others. Their prison is not too far from here. You can live there." Troy said. The Governor started thinking about it. "Remember what they did to you. To your eye. Your daughter."
"Yeah. Yeah, you're right, Troy. We could. And we will." The Governor said.
The next day...
While everyone was up and eating breakfast, Troy and The Governor went out with one of the trucks to scout the prison. When they got to the woods area of the prison they saw Rick, Kenny, and Carl at the garden. Troy heard voices and followed the sound until they spotted Michonne, Herschel, and Carlos laughing and talking by their jeep in the woods.
"What do we do?" Troy asked.
The Governor stared at the three of them angrily and raised his gun.
