A.N. I might try and change the format of the story! Nothing much though, since I love the way I write!

Chapter 10: Lisanna Strauss

"W-What's happened to him? Why did he react so wildly when I asked him about it?!" I cried.

I felt something pull me close and wrap around me. It was Junichi-San. I buried my face against him and let the tears leak out. My arms wound around him, and I felt him smoothing my hair down and whispering comforting words in my ear.

"Lucy-Chan... before you, Natsu-Sama had another human." Junichi-San hesitated.

My blood turned cold. "W-Who?"

"Her name was Lisanna Strauss."

"L-... Lisanna Strauss? Junichi-San! A-Are you sure that it's Lisanna Strauss?!" I said desperately.

"Y-Yes... why? Did you know her...?" Junichi-San said in surprise.

"I-I did... she was a sweet girl with short white hair, and beautiful blue eyes. She was part of the guild I'm in. She was kind to everyone, and everyone liked her! But after a few years, she suddenly became different. She became depressed, and didn't smile much anymore. Than one day she stopped coming to the guild, and then her sister Mirajane and brother Elfman told us that she had committed suicide. We had a funeral, and everything. But I didn't know her very well besides that, she used take over magic along with her siblings, and that she used to talk to us about her boyfriend. They got married but we didn't attend because a lot of us were too young, so none of us has met him before... I suppose it was Natsu then..." I said to Junichi-San.

"... You're right. It was Natsu-Sama. They met, in Crocus City. At the time, Natsu-Sama was going there to settle some business with a demon who was in charge of a company that he supplied, to keep an image in the Human World, and that was where he met her. They started as friends and met up quite a bit, but he soon fell in love with her. They were happily dating, until he realized that it wouldn't last. So he turned her into a Daemon. She survived the ritual and it looked as if everything would be alright. They got married and they were happy. But unfortunately, that happiness didn't last. After a few years, she became paranoid. She knew that she would never age. After a few more years, she would have to move away so that no one caught on. She didn't want to leave Mirajane-San and Elfman-San. So she killed herself. But none of that jumping off cliffs and hanging yourselves. That would have never killed her. The only way to kill a Daemon is to rip their soul away from them. Complicated Exorcism magic that can only be done by a priestess or a priest with powerful purification magic. We aren't sure exactly how she died but she probably acted as if she were going to eat a priestesses soul and got Exorcised. Many times when this happens, their deaths are automatically made to be suicides. There are very few priestesses and priests anyways. That's it. I'm thinking that, that is the reason why he won't turn you into a Daemon." Junichi-San explained.

"I-... I see... The way I see it... there isn't a way to get him to agree to turn me." I said as I tried to process everything that Junichi-San had told me.

"You can always give it time Lucy-Chan. Over time if you stay with him, he'll probably want to change you. He probably told you that he would spend all his time with you while you were alive right?" Junichi-San asked.

"Yeah..." I answered.

"I'm almost positive he won't keep that opinion. If he loves you enough, he will change you." Junichi-San smiled gently.

I smiled. Junichi-San was right. I shouldn't be rushing these things. I could wait a few years and see if this would work out.
