Love Letters- Chapter 10, Letter 11
Kagome woke to Sesshomaru sitting in the corner of the room, reading. Alicia Keys playing softly from the stereo in the corner. He looked up when he heard her move and stretch. She smiled.
"Good morning Koi." Sesshomaru said softly
"I'm so happy you're home!" Kagome said, lying on her stomach facing Sesshomaru.
"I'm happy to be home. We're still having the barbeque today?"
"Yup," Kagome said, "I'd better start cooking! What time is it?"
"It's 11. What would you like me to do?"
"Relax love, I'll do everything except the grilling. I'll tell you when I want you to start, it probably won't be until people start getting here."
"Okay, darling. Whatever you want."
Kagome got up from the bed, the large t-shirt she was wearing falling into place around her growing belly. She turned towards the bathroom, lifting the shirt above her head.
"I'm going to shower. Sango got me some maxi dresses and I want to wear one today."
Kagome walked to the bathroom, singing along to the Alicia Keys playing in the room. Sesshomaru heard the shower turn on and Kagome start singing louder. He smiled and walked to the closet, looking at his clothing options. He settled for a linen shirt and jeans, and walked out into the bedroom again.

He didn't realize how long he'd been standing in the closet until he walked out and saw Kagome sitting on the bed, naked, putting lotion on her legs. He sat next to her and lay back on the bed. He drew circles on her lower back and felt her shiver to his touch.
A smirk came to his face as he tugged on her arm and she lay down next to him. He looked at her and softly kissed her lips. She kissed him back with a passion he hadn't seen in her in a long time. The kiss turned hungry and passionate. Feeling Kagome's once flat belly, now slightly swollen with the growth of his children, made Sesshomaru's kisses more passionate.
Sesshomaru, never breaking the kiss, pulled off his jeans and boxers and teased his arousal with Kagome's. He could feel her wetness and it only turned him on more. He finally broke the kiss and looked at her. She smiled lazily back at him, the smile turning into an open mouthed moan as Sesshomaru entered her. He kissed down her neck and placed open-mouthed kisses on her breasts. He went slow, and gentle in their lovemaking. He had missed being with her and once they had finished, Sesshomaru making sure she finished, he pulled out and kissed her.

Kagome smiled back at Sesshomaru and laughed a little. Sesshomaru looked down and saw that his linen shirt was sticking to his body.
"Now you'll have to change." Kagome giggled.
Sesshomaru kissed her again, "its worth it."
Sesshomaru got up and let Kagome continue putting lotion on her body. Sesshomaru went back to the closet and changed his shirt, pulling on his boxers and jeans on the way. Kagome snapped on her bra, pulled on her thong and pulled the maxi dress over her head. The mint color brought out her blue eyes and contrasted her black hair. She went back into the bathroom to brush her hair; she put on some eyeliner and mascara and brushed her teeth. Sesshomaru came in just as she was leaving, to brush his teeth.
It was noon, and people were coming in an hour. Kagome was making potato salad and fruit salad. Sesshomaru came in and sat on the counter right as Kagome started cutting strawberries and peaches. He watched her as she sang to nonexistent music and shaking her hips to a beat no one could hear. All he could think of was how happy he was to be home. Kagome was jolted out of her world by the doorbell. Jaken came scurrying in then, stopping right in front of Sesshomaru.
"Sir, your friends are here."
"Oh! Roku and Sang?" Kagome asked
"Yes madam, also Bankotsu and Jakotsu."
"Let them in Jaken, we're expecting them." Sesshomaru said, Jaken nodded and scurried back to the door.
Minutes later, Jakotsu was in the kitchen, hugging Kagome and leaning down to talk to her growing belly.
"And how are my little babies doing? Ready to meet auntie Jak yet?"
Kagome laughed, "Not yet Jakkie, still have some time."
Bankotsu laughed and shook Sesshomaru's hand, "How ya doing bud? Good to be home?"
"Yeah, It's great to be back."
Sango came into the kitchen next, Miroku not too far behind.
"Would you guys like anything to drink?" Kagome asked, "Cosmos? Margaritas? Beer?"
"I'll take a cosmo dearie." Jakotsu said, Sango nodding in agreement.
"Beer for me, Kaggie." Miroku said
"Make that two." Bankotsu agreed.
"Three." Inuyasha said, walking into the kitchen, smiling as he patted Sesshomaru on the back.
"Sessh?" Kagome asked, turning to him.
"I'll make a margarita for me and a virgin daiquiri for you. And I'll make the cosmos." Sesshomaru smiled, getting off the counter.
"I'll grab the beers." Kagome sang, going to the second refrigerator and pulling out three Blue Moons from the depths. She handed one to each of them and then sat on the counter as Sesshomaru made the other drinks. They all chatted while Sesshomaru busied himself, making drinks and taking orders for burgers.
"Let's go sit outside, guys," Kagome said, "The view from the gazebo is beautiful right now!"
They all migrated to the gazebo out back, next to the Olympic size pool. The waterfall and cave Sesshomaru designed for Kagome's dream pool was flowing. The sunset was beautiful against the skyline of LA. There was no smog and it looked beautiful. The group sat in the gazebo, next to the grill, laughing and talking. They finally got on the subject of Kagome's pregnancy.
"I hope you have at least one girl!" Sango said, "We need more girls in the group."
"We need a boy too!" Inuyasha defended.
Kagome laughed, "Maybe one of each?"
Sesshomaru laughed too, flipping the burgers, "I'll take whatever she gives."
"Names? What are you thinking for names?"
"Awe jeez," Kagome groaned, "I haven't even started thinking about names!"
"You've got time!" Bankotsu said, smiling, "You are only like what? 2ish months along?"
"Three soon. I was 8 weeks when I found out."
The group continued to talk while Sesshomaru cooked. Kagome was in and out, refreshing drinks. On one venture into the house, she came back with bowls and potato salad. She passed out forks and bowls after setting the huge bowl of potato salad on the table. Sesshomaru brought out plates and set the burgers on the table as well. The friends ate together, laughing and enjoying each other's company.
"Sessh, How about you? Are you ready to be a dad?" Jakotsu asked.
"Honestly, I'm terrified. But I'm as ready as I'll ever be. But you guys knew, didn't you?"
"Oh yeah," Inuyasha laughed, "We all did."
"Kagome?" Sesshomaru asked, turning to her.
Kagome smiled, "I needed it to be a surprise."
Sesshomaru smiled, "I'm glad no one else told me. It was better to hear it from you."
Kagome took Sesshomaru's hand, "It was so hard not telling you!"
"You said it." Inuyasha agreed, "Especially when you asked me, bro. You knew that I knew, didn't you?"
"You're one of her best friends, I knew she told you. I knew she told everyone, except me."
"He even called me, Kags." Sango spoke up.
Kagome laughed, "That desperate, huh?"
"Truthfully, I was worried. When you wouldn't answer your phone because you had gone to bed early, I didn't know what to think!"
"Well, how about no more 'surprises', huh?" Kagome said.
"Well…one more. While you were asleep this morning, I stepped out and got you something."
"What is it?"
"Wait here." Sesshomaru said, running inside.
He was back with a piece of paper faster than anyone could even begin to speculate what the surprise was.
"I went to the courthouse today. The judge signed it and everything; all that's left is us. And witnesses, of course." Sesshomaru said, presenting the paper to her.
Kagome covered her mouth with her hands, "Sesshomaru, a marriage certificate?"
"Yes. Listen, I don't want to wait any longer to call you my wife. And I want our family to be a part of the wedding, once everyone has arrived."
Kagome smiled, "Do you have a pen?"
Sesshomaru held the pen out to her, and Kagome signed her name. She handed it back to Sesshomaru and he signed his name. After passing the paper around to their witnesses, Sesshomaru kissed Kagome.
"We'll pick out the wedding rings tomorrow, okay?" Sesshomaru whispered.
Kagome nodded and looked at her friends, Sango and Jakotsu were crying and everyone else was smiling proudly.
Miroku stood up, "Well, newlyweds, I've got to take my lovely girlfriend home. We'll see you soon, yeah?"
Sango kissed Kagome's cheek and gave Sesshomaru a hug, "Congrats you two."
Jakotsu and Bankotsu stood as well, "We've got some gender neutral baby things to buy and create! Love you crazy lovebirds"
As everyone left and the door finally shut, Sesshomaru turned to Kagome.
"Did you get enough to eat?"
"Know what I'm craving? Like really really craving?"
Sesshomaru feared the worst, "What?"
"Curry chicken. I don't know what it is, but it sounds so good."
Sesshomaru put his jacket on, "I'll be right back."
Kagome's eyes lit up, "Are you getting me some?!"
"Of course. You want it from the usual place, right?"
"Yes! I love you so much! Get a lot though!"
Sesshomaru laughed and walked to the garage. Maybe he'd pick up a movie for them to watch, Kagome's been raving about Frozen for weeks. As he drove he called the restaurant that they usually got curry chicken from.
"Hey, can I have a big order of curry chicken?"
"Yea, Want me to just put it on the tab, Sesshomaru?"
"Yea, thanks Henry."
"No problem, is Kagome okay? This is the fifth order this week?"
Sesshomaru laughed, "Pregnancy cravings."
"Congrats man! I'll see you in a bit."
"Thanks." Sesshomaru hung up the phone and stopped at Target. He was relieved to see that there was still a copy of Frozen. He bought it and went to Tai's Foods, their favorite place for curry chicken and ramen. He got his very large order of curry chicken and two bowls of ramen. He planned on saving one for later, Kagome would eat all the curry chicken. He made sure his purchases would not get defiled on the car ride home and got home in ten minutes. He opened the door to see Kagome in the living room trying to find a movie to watch. She turned when she heard Sesshomaru shut the door. Her eyes lit up when she saw what was in his hands.
"Frozen! I'm so excited!" Kagome squealed. Sesshomaru smiled and put in the movie.
Twenty minutes later, Sesshomaru looked over to Kagome crying softly on the couch. He opened up his arms and pulled her close. She couldn't tear her eyes away as she cried with happiness at Kristoff, Sven and Olaf, and with anger at Hans. When the movie ended, with Anna and Kristoff and Elsa's happy ending, she wiped the tears from her eyes and kissed Sesshomaru's chin.
"I would've gotten a happier movie if I knew you were going to cry." He whispered.
Kagome laughed, "I would have still cried. I cry at everything now. Its just all the hormones."
Sesshomaru kissed Kagome's forehead and scooped her up in his arms. He took a moment to turn off the TV and the lamp. He then carried Kagome, wrapped in a blanket, upstairs to bed. He laid her down, covered her up and kissed her cheek. He went to his desk, then, and sat down to write.
Dear babies,
My love for you grows double as you grow. I know you can hear me. Maybe one of these days I'll sing to you. I know mommy sings to you. She sings to all of us. And I know she's excited.
I can't wait to sing you lullabies and hold you both in my arms. I cannot wait to watch you both grow and become the best people you can be.
Mommy and I got married today. And we're waiting for the two of you so you can be in the big wedding.
I love you so much, babies, I can't wait to know you.

Also, mommy hasn't stopped eating curry chicken; I'm glad one or both of you like spicy food.
Sesshomaru folded the letter and put it in the same color envelope of the last letter. He put it in his desk with the other one and crawled into bed. Kagome immediately molded herself to him and soon they both were asleep.
