Chapter Ten: The Road Trip Part Two: Consumed & Blood Sharing

Damon's P.O.V

Elena & I walk to the beach outside of the beach house hand-in-hand and all I can think is 'how can I be this lucky' I'm on good terms with my brother and I have Elena that I love more than my own life, now I'm just never letting her go ever again like I did when I thought that I was in love with Katherine.

We decided to spend the whole day at the beach just swimming and tanning even though Elena will be the one tanning since I'm a vampire I'm just gonna enjoy laying down right by her side. She looks at me when we got to the sand before speaking up.

"Wanna join me in the water." She asks seductively and there's no way I can resist her.

"I would never pass up that opportunity." I smirk and she rolls her eyes at me.

"You better not." She says wrapping her hands around my neck pulling me closer until our lips meet in a passionately kiss. "Since we're going into the water I think you need to take that off." She says seductively pointing to my shirt and I smirk at her.

"Do you what the honor then?" I smirk flirty at her and she pulls me closer again then whisper 'always' in my ear seductively so I shiver all over my body as she takes off my shirt. "Elena you'll also need to take that off." I say touching her waist where her skirt is starting and she lead my hand to the zipper.

"How could I forget!" She tries to look innocent and forgetful as she continues. "Care to help me out of it?" She smirk flirty back at me and I unzipped her skirt letting it fall to the ground. She pulls me in for another passionately kiss and for a moment I get all lost in the moment forgetting that we're standing on crowed beach, then she pulls away and pulls me with her as she goes into the water and I just follow her without any objections.

We swim around in the water then I decide to swim up behind her wrapping my hands around her and she responds by resting the back her of head on my shoulder. We stay like that just holding each other for a while before I start to kiss her neck softly and she tilt her head to give me better access.

Suddenly she turns around kissing me on my lips with passion, lust and love just like last night and I just pulls her closer enjoying our moment. Who would have thought that bringing her with me out of town would make this happen because my intention was to bring her here as a friend showing her a good time, but this is way better and I didn't even make the first move.

We pull away and she holds me close enough to whisper 'I love you' in my ear and I almost explode with happiness as I whisper 'I love you too' in her ear. I don't know if I've ever been this happy in my entire life, but now I am and I know that it couldn't possibly be better that this right here it sucks that we can't just stay here forever.

We spend a few hours more on the beach lying on a towel while Elena is tanning in the sun and I smile knowing that I succeeded in making her forget about all the bad things there happened in her life and just got her to enjoy living her life again.

We walk back to the beach house where I start to make her dinner since I originally came from Italy I knew who to make food that she had never tasted in her entire life and I just love to see her happy. She enjoyed the food with pleasure after she finished eating I lighted up in the stove putting a blanket on the floor for us to lie on.

"I'm so happy that you thought of going on a road trip, Damon! I needed to get away to have fun and most of all finally telling you about my feelings towards you." She says leaning in to kiss me passionately.

"I'm happy that I suggested it because being here with you is the happiest I've ever been." I confess letting my guard down completely because I want nothing more than to be honest with her.

"I feel that too, Damon! I was happy when I had my parents, but not as happy as I am right here with you. Damon you really make me want to live again and you make me let go of everything else, I like who I am when I'm with you." She says with nothing, but love in her eyes.

"I love you, Elena! I've been wanting to tell you that for a long time." I say with both love and fear in my eyes.

"Damon? What's wrong are you okay?" She asks moving closer to me.

"I just don't like the fact that I'm with my brother's ex-girlfriend, I mean I don't think he's gonna like this." I say not wanting to lose her, but also not wanting to hurt my brother.

"Listen to me, Damon!" She says placing her hands on my cheeks forcing me to face her. "What Stefan and I had wasn't really a real relationship, I mean we kiss yes, but nothing more because I didn't want to before I figured out what I felt for you." She confesses honesty and kisses me softly. I look at her looking like a big question.

"You never slept with him?" I ask not quite believing what I'm hearing.

"No, I mean he did want to, but I always turned him down the only one I ever slept with is you, Damon! I never wanted to with anyone else." She confesses and I look at her in shock, she was a virgin yesterday? Wow!

"I'm the only one you ever slept with?" I ask her still in shock, but with a smile on my face.

"Yes! I wouldn't want it any other way." She says while kissing me passionately and I give in to her happy that I'm the only one she has ever slept with it made me feel better knowing that she never slept with my brother. "Damon." She moaned as I kiss her neck softly. "Can I ask you something?" She asks as another moan escapes her mouth and I pull away a little.

"Sure you can, you can ask me anything." I say softly wondering what's on her mind.

"How will our future be? I mean I'm getting older and you won't." She says looking concerned.

"I don't know how to answer that, Elena." I say wondering where she's going with this.

"Stefan told me that to turn into a vampire you have to die with vampire blood in your system and then when you awake you'll have to feed on a human to complete the transformation to vampire and if you don't you'll die." She says quietly.

"Well it's all true it's not fun to live through, Elena." I say softly getting an idea where she's going with this.

"I didn't think it was, but Damon-." She says as I cut her off.

"Elena don't, please don't say it." I beg knowing that I won't be able to kill her to take her live just so I'll never lose her.

"No Damon, I'm gonna say this! I want you to turn me because I want to be with you forever." She says with love in her eyes.

"Elena! You don't understand I can't take your life, okay? I can't kill you." I say close to losing it she has no idea what she's asking me to do.

"It's not killing me when I'll return to you." She says softly. "And you don't have to do it now, Damon! It can wait a few years." She says caressing my cheek.

"Elena! I want you for all eternity, but I don't think I can do it just the thought of losing you is tearing me apart." I say trying to make her understand.

"But Damon, if I say human you will lose me soon or later to old age." She says sweetly and I see her point clearly.

"Okay Elena! You win! I'll turn you in a few years if you still want to by then." I say in defeat and she smiles widely.

"Of cause I'll still want to! I will always want to be with you forever, Damon." She says crashing her lips onto mine and I once again give into her letting her take control. Suddenly I feel the veins under my eyes appear and the need to feed, but I don't just want to turn her into a human blood back so I resist the urge. She looks at me noticing the veins under my eyes then she places her hands on each side of my cheeks and pulls me down to her neck and whisper 'bite me, Damon. It's okay' in my ear. When she basically begging me I can't resist the urge so I slowly kiss her neck before biting her feeding on her.

*The Next Day*

I wake up with a sleeping Elena in my arms remembering that we ended up sleeping in the living room on a blanket in front of the stove. I really can't believe that she lets me feed on her like she does I haven't needed to feed from blood bags since we left Mystic Falls. It's almost like she enjoys when I feed on her as much as I enjoy feeding on her.

I just hold her tight enjoying just to hold her when I feel her awakening and turning around in my arms until our eyes meet, she leans in to join our lips and I embrace it. When we finally pull apart she looks at me as she caresses my cheek and I just love her even more for every moment we spend together.

"Good morning, Damon." She says softly continuing to caress my cheek.

"Good morning beautiful." I say softly as I kiss her cheek. "How did you sleep?"I ask her concerned that sleeping on the floor haven't been the best idea.

"I slept amazing because I slept in your arms." She says cuddling closer to me.

"Elena, I wanted to ask you about something." I say a little more serious and I see worry all over her face.

"Ask away." She says nervously.

"I was wondering why you let me feed on you because I'm so afraid of hurting you, Elena." I say unsecure and I see relief in her face.

"The first time I let you bite me I was a little scared of it, but I knew that you need blood to survive and I also know you prefer to feed on humans instead of blood bags so I let you. The second time I let you was because I wanted you to because I liked it. It made me feel so close to you and I love that feeling, if you're asking me because you're afraid that you're hurting me or that I let you because you're a vampire then no. You're not hurting me or making me do something I don't want to do because as I said I like it when you feed on me no matter how weird it might be." She says softly and I feel relief rushing through my entire body along with happiness.

"I just needed to make sure that I wasn't doing something you didn't like." I say softly.

"I love you for that Damon, you're always treating me like a princess and making sure that you don't do something wrong, I can promise you that I'll let you know if you should ever do something there hurts me or something I don't like." She says trying to comfort me and she succeeded.

"I love you, Elena." I say kissing her with lust and passion while she pulls me closer whispering 'feed on me, Damon. I want to feel close to you again.' I pull away looking at her with worry all over my face. "Elena, I can't do that! I drank a lot last night I'll end up hurting you." I say getting really worried about her.

"Don't vampire blood heal humans if they get hurt?" She ask innocently.

"Well yes, but-." I start when she cuts me off.

"Then I could feed on you while you feed on me if you want. Please let me do this for you, Damon." She offers knowing that a vampire is always hungry and a part of me thinks it sound hot, but another part of me is worried about her. I decide to give in to her wish.

"If you're completely sure you want to do this we can." I say leaving it up to her to make the decision.

"I want to do this." She says looking at me with such passion and lust that I don't even try to talk her out of it. I get up to find a needle because she doesn't have fangs and when I find one I walk back to her making a wound in my neck with the needle so she can drink from my neck.

She slowly puts her lips to the wound before she slowly drinks from it and when she's drinking I slowly kiss her neck before I start to drink from her. It feels amazing to have this connection with her, it feels like we're connected as one I never had this feeling with anyone before not even with Katherine and when she drinks my blood I don't have to worry about drinking too much of hers because my blood heals her as I drink hers.

I must admit I never thought I could feel like this like I could love her even more than I already do, but she proved me wrong. She's just so sweet and caring making sure I get blood enough by putting her own life at risk even though I would never hurt her, but she didn't have to offer her blood to me when I can survive on blood bags, but she did anyway.

We're so consumed by each other that we don't even realize that we've been 'in bed' well technically in the living room on the blanket all day focusing on each other in many different ways. We realize that we have spend the whole day right here when it's dark outside and we pull apart of a second, but quickly put our focus back to each other continuing where we left off.
