Chapter 10: No Better Family Than You
Bill wouldn't talk about what happened, and the twins wouldn't either, Ford made the decision to enter Bills Mindscape once more. Bill didn't want him to. So in the dead of night, Ford crept into Bills room, knocking him out with a sedative and taking him down to the lab "Sorry kid, but if you won't tell me, then I can't help you, whatever happened must be traumatizing"
He placed the head gear on Bills head, and pressed the button.
Bills Mindscape was exactly the same, color and beauty, a few new doors had made there appearance, one was blue with red drips and the letters and shapes of the enslavement ruins crossed out in silver, he turned the handle.
Reverse Mabel had Bill strung up in their lounge, a knife glinted in her hand, Bills bare chest was heaving with fear "Please, please, don't" Bill whimpered,
"Talking back is not allowed, pet" Reverse Mabel said bringing the knife to Bills cheek, she cut a small line, Bill whimpered.
She began to carve the ruins,
Bills screams angered Ford, the blue haired demon was shaking, rubbing his own chest,
poor Will,
they left Bill tied up, blood running down his chest.
A few moments later and Will appeared, he was helping Bill! He used a knife to cross out the ruins, with a click of his fingers Will and Bill disappeared, the memory changed to a basement, Dipper and Mabel were horrified when they appeared and saw Bill, "OMG Bill! Your chest, its bleeding, we heard screaming!" Mabel cried, "Its fine, I'm fine, we just need to get home" Bill said through gritted teeth, they both supported him, a few words were said and then they vanished.
Ford shut the door, rubbing his eyes " Ford looked up at the speakers in the hallway, only just noticing that synthesized music was playing, probably an attempt to keep away the darkness, Ford stepped out into the memory forest, the glitchy part was no longer glitchy, instead it held another castle, a blue one, yellow flames leading to the entrance, frowning he made his way back inside the gold castle towards Wills memories, as he suspected the door was gone. He suspected the blue castle now held them, a tribute to Wills bravery towards Bill. With a press of a button he was back in the lab.
The next morning Bill woke up in the lab, he went upstairs to the kitchen rubbing his sore eyes.
Stan was making pancakes, "Morning kid!" he said with a grin.
"Morning Stan, wheres Ford?"
"He said he had some stuff to get, he'll be back around lunch, Dipper and Mabel went with him"
Bill nodded, piling some pancakes on his plate and drenching them in syrup, Stan watched him eat "I hate Ford so much right now" Stan said "Stupid Diet"
Bill sat down around lunch with a small bag of chips, Stan on his diet ended up chasing Bill around the house in an attempt to take them, "Give me the chips!"
"Not there mine! Your on a diet!"
"I don't care! I need them!"
Bill stayed crouched on top of the fridge attacking Stan with a broom he had grabbed, "Back! back I say!" Bill said, Stan gave up after a few moments due to 'being too old' "Your just fat!" Bill said.
After lunch Ford and others came back with tons of shopping bags, Ford grinned when he saw Bills face,
"Hey Bill! I thought your room could use a little redecorating, so Dipper, Mabel and I went on a shopping trip!"
Bill grinned "All this is mine!?"
Ford nodded.
Bill grinned "Yay!"
They spent the rest of the day painting and fixing Bills room, the walls ended up being cyan blue, and his bed sheets were yellow, Mabel and Dipper had grouped up and had gotten him some clothes, Mabel had wanted sweaters and glittery stuff and Dipper had stopped her.
Ford had bought him a ton of books and a lamp that looked like the solar system which he could discount and connect it to the light bulb so that when he turned the light on the planets would move. Stan contributed by putting the bookshelf together.
"Its awesome! I love it! Thank you!" Bill said jumping on the bed "You guys are great! I couldn't wish for a better family than you"
"Really?" they asked,
"Really" Bill said giving Ford a hug.
