I'm sooooooo sorry it's been almost six months since I last updated. I know, I know, I'm terrible. Sorry.

Jay's P.O.V.
Finally, Alistair and Bunny caught up with us, and we continued on our way to the dance. The two idiots were blushing the whole time and refused to make eye contact; while I had to hold myself back from rolling my eyes, Harriet seemed to find the two rather cute and amusing. But it was probably just because she was happy for Bunny. The walk to our destination took quite a while, and I was on edge the whole time. I wonder if the others saw... What were their names? Some fruit and some flower girls. Princesses and royals. Either way, I had to tell someone (most likely Harriet). Fortunately for me, by the time I finished mulling over my thoughts, we arrived at the dance.
I stretched my arms over my head and yawned, "Well, that was pointless and tiring. Why couldn't we just fly?"
Liz scoffed, "It would be rather unnerving for the other students to see a hideous chimera carrying two humans, two bunnies, and a cat to a dance, wouldn't it? Besides, this dance is supposed to be a secret."
I shrugged and followed everyone else inside, "Whatever you say, Queenie." In response, Harriet swatted the back of my head before Liz could " cause some damage.
Immediately after we walked in, Maddie and Kitty made a beeline for the snack bar and Liz walked off to Grimm knows where. Probably to find a good spying spot. That left me, Harriet, Alistair, and Bunny loitering near the door. Like proper friends, Harriet and I walked off towards a different corner, leaving the two other Wonderlandians to themselves.
Having stationed ourselves in a nicely secluded place, yet still being able to see everything, we relaxed and leaned against the wall.
"Do you have a game plan?" my friend inquired, jutting her chin towards the two we just left.
"I doubt it." Kitty and Liz had materialized next to us and copied our stances.
"Thanks for the faith." I finally let myself indulge in an eye roll. But Harriet kept staring at me.
"Well, do you have one? Or do you confirm that, once again, you have kept up your appearance?"
"Was that a freaking pun?" I deadpanned at her.
She shrugged, "What can I say, I'm the Queen of Puns." (A/N: See the TV show "Keeping Up Appearances.)
" To answer your question, no, I don't. But I do have something to tell you. " With that, I pulled on her arm to lead her to the dance floor.
"What's so important that you can't tell us?" Kitty called out, irritated.
"She's a better listener." I turned back to Harriet.
"Fruit girl and flower girl-" "Apple and Briar?" "-are stalking the two to make sure their date goes badly."
"So I was pulled out here for something actually important instead of you wanting to dance with me. Wow, rude." I found myself having to, yet again, suppress an eye roll.
"Please take this seriously."
"Don't worry, Jay. I've got a plan." We turned our heads towards Apple and Briar who were so desperately trying to spy on Alistair and Bunny, and grinned devilishly to ourselves.
This feels really short and that sort of makes me upset.
