***I don't own anything***

Previously:Before we could do anything the oak doors swung open and Luke and two giants came out. The two giants pointed spears at us. We were trapped.
"Well," Luke smiled. "If it isn't my two favorite cousins. Come on in."

Chapter 10

Our Chat with Luke

The stateroom Luke had control over was beautiful and horrifying all at the same time. The back wall was a solid wall of window overlooking the stern of the ship. The view was worthy of Poseidon himself. On the wood floor was a large rug demonstrating a war, a very bloody one. Two white plush sofas sat in the middle of the room, a king sized bed lie in one corner, and a mahogany dining table littered with pizza boxes, soda bottles, and sandwiches. In the front of the room was a ten foot long golden sarcophagus. It was etched with Ancient Greece in flames, people dying, and heroes being tortured and killed.

"It's pretty fantastic is it not?" Luke said arrogantly, his ego had always been the size of Mt. Olympus. "Sit."

Instead we all stood awkwardly.

Luke's giant friends were still pointing spears at us. Whatever they were they were not human, they were about eight feet tall and wearing jeans. I had no idea that they made jeans for giants. They weren't wearing shirts, their chests were covered with fur. Enormous claws stuck out from their fingertips. There faces were dog like with a big snout and pointed teeth.

Luke laughed. "Where are my manners? These are my apprentices Agrius and Oreius. You've mostly likely have heard of them."

Tyson, Percy, and I remained quiet, not really sure what to say.

"You don't?" Luke questioned. "Well it's a sad story. Aphrodite ordered their mother to fall in love, but she refused and ran to Artemis. Artemis took in the women as a huntress. Aphrodite got her revenge and made the women fall in love with a bear. A year later when Artemis found out the women was abandoned. Agrius and Oreius are her children. They have no love for Olympus or half bloods. They would be more than happy to eat all of you for lunch."

One of the giants then started to have a laughing fit. I guessed it was Oreius. The other giant, Agrius, told him to sit in the corner.

"Percy, we decided to let you survive another year. I hope you enjoyed it. How's your mother? How's school?"
"You poisoned Thalia's tree." Percy accused him.
Luke sighed heavily. "You always are right to the point. Who cares if I poisoned her tree? The world will probably go on."
"How could you?" I shouted. "She saved your life, she saved my life, and she saved a ton more too! How could you hurt her like this?"
"I didn't hurt her!" Luke yelled back. "The gods hurt her, Annabeth! If she was still alive she would be on my side!"
"Liar! You are a simpleminded liar!"
"If you know what is going to happen you would agree with me!"
"I understand that you hate camp and that you want to destroy it. You are a stupid monster!"
"The gods have lied to you. Can you even imagine a world without them? The West is rotten. Join me, we can make the world afresh! We could use your cleverness."
"Only because you have none of your own!"
"I know you Annabeth. Do you really want to be on a losing team, with... this?"
"Hey!" Percy protested.
"Traveling with a cyclops, that is dishonoring Thalia. I am surprised, you out of all people-"

I hid my head in my hands. I can not believe he said that!

"Leave her alone! Leave Tyson out of this too!" Percy yelled.
"Oh, that's right this thing," Luke said gesturing at Tyson. "Is your brother. I know about everything Percy. Those coördinates 30, 31, 75, 12 right? I know where those lead. Your father is insulting you. How many insults can you take? You think he cares about you? He doesn't. Do you know about the prophecy? You are a fool!"

Tyson had heard enough and charged at Luke. The dog/ grizzly things intercepted him. He fell hard to the floor, shaking the floor.

I zoned out on the rest of the fighting. It went like this: Percy insults Luke, Luke insults Percy, and then Luke tries to get us to join him. Finally, Luke had enough.

"Take these three down to the drakon, make sure it gets well fed."

I know how much Percy wanted to get rid of the dog/ grizzly things. He waited until we were in front of the elevator.
"Now!" he shouted.

Tyson hit Oreius back thirty feet into the pool.
"We are not having fun in the pool!" the kids in the pool yelled.

A security monster walked up to my left. I kicked him in the chest knocking the wind out of him. I looked up and saw another monster that had started to run for the alarm box.
"Stop him!" I yelled running.

Percy grabbed a deck chair and was about to hit him. It was too late, the security monster pulled the alarm and everything went haywire. Red lights came on flashing, and a siren started to wail. Percy hit the guard with the deck chair, and ran for the lifeboat.

"To the lifeboat! To the lifeboats!" he yelled.

I started to help him with the cover over one of the lifeboats. My hands trembled as I undid the buttons to the cover. More and more monsters came up to our deck.
"How do you launch this thing?" I yelled frustrated.

Archers came on the deck and knocked arrows. A random hellhound leaped at Percy, Tyson intercepted it with a fire extinguisher.

"Get in!" Percy said.

Tyson and I tugged at the release pulleys.

"Hold on!" Percy screamed.

I just grabbed the side of the boat when Percy took out Riptide and cut the cables. Arrows whizzed past our heads as we plummeted towards the ocean.
