Chapter 10: Ambush

As the sun was rising the next day, a wolf doing stands with her fan open. And as she slowly moved to a different stand to face Shadow.

"So, how long do you think it take for them to realized that am already up?", she asked then change into another stand.

You see, Shadow got me REALLY early, just so I could practice my fan movements which is what I am doing now, see it started out like this.

-Flashback-

(It was still dark out, but some reason Shadow always thinks that's the best time to train, whatever I still have no clue how he didn't wake up Sonic and Flare, well the riolu and I sleep in the same bed and I swear Flare is a little sleeper. Oh well, anyways that crazy hedgehog tried to wake me up.

"Hey Crystal, wake up training time.", he said in a low voice

"Sure", I said in a groggy voice.

"Get dress and bring her fan"

"Ya ya", I said still half asleep.

I got my jeeps on, since it was early it will be cold out, then I got my jacket and boots and I was set (Man! Flare was right) as she looked at herself (I just wish I could figure out more about the questions that I have about myself. Life who am I? Where my place in this world? And as she lift up her necklace to eye leve Why can't I part from you? Oh well lets go get this over with as she drop the blue gem back to her neck and did her best not to wake her friends.

"Hello Shadow, what was so important that it couldn't wait until morning?"

"First, you might like it and second fan.

I brought it out of pocket and unfold it.

"Yes, now will you tell me why I need it for?"

"Yes, young one, you know of fighting stands, well you are going to learn an other one.

"Okay?, but that still doesn't examine why I need my fan."

"Heh, silly wolf that is the stands. Now get into stand, but use your fan as well."

So I did as he did, one foot in front of the other, hand out fan poem, "Like this"

"No, young wolf that is power, you must be grace.

So I tried again, this time she moved her feet to the side and her fan on the right then moved her lift side to her fan. "Better"

"Better", he said with a smile.)

"Your friends should be waking up soon", he said with a smirk.

-Crystal's Room-

Just as he said that a riolu was waking up.

(Morning Crist, ready for an other day of training?), the young jackal asked as he stretch his arms and then rubbed his eyes, but there was no answer.

(Crist? You there?), still no answer.

"Fire breath, wake up!", as he shacked her to wake.

"Hum, this better be good, I was dreaming of burning you to the ground."

"No time for that, Crist is missing!"

"Then use those dumb things on your head and find her, you dumbly head."

"Their called dreads and why didn't I think of that.", as he closed his eyes and used his aura to find his friend.

"Got her, she outside wit Shadow."

"Then, lets go since you already got me up.", she said as she also stretched her body out then followed the rilou outside.

-With Shadow-

"I think they figure it out, as I had eyes closed "and it looks Sonic panicked".

(Were the heck were you?), as he saw us outside.

"Right here actually, Shadow had me sneak out to do some early training.", I said as folded up my fan and put it back in my pocket.

"All right you three, get some berries then we will get stared."

After grub time, both gangs got together. Crystal's team on one side and Shadow and Lucario on the other.

"Alright! We are going to see if your training was wort it and your teamwork as well. So, come on! Come get us.", he said with a smirk and his arms crossed.

(I could tell that 1: that he was getting cocky, but that wasn't like him, so it had to be 2: he going to enjoy himself, because his parter was a mirror self of him.)

We were sited Sonic and I got into fighting stands and Flare got on all fours with her flames alight, it was on!

I went for Shadow with Flare backing me up, Sonic went for his teacher as well. I had my right ear listen the riolu's just in case he needed back up as well, just then I blocked a other punch, I since a flamethrower coming so I ducked for Flare to get a one up on Shadow.

"I see you been listening to Houndoom, he was always good at sneak attacks.", he said as he was pushed back rubbing the spot she hit. "Go switch with young rilou."

"Sure thing", the fire mouse ran over to , but he was in a dead lock with Lucario.

"Yo! Doggie Shadow wants ya."

"Kinda busy at the moment."

Indent he was, the young jackal and Lucario were in strength contest at the moment paw to paw, one to push the other, but sadly it was a tie none was moving, so in other words this was going to take a while.

"No, go master needs you so go we will finish later.", Lucario said as they Brock away.

"Your only saying that because I can match you now.", he said with a smirk while crossing his arms.

"No that is not it at all, now get going."

"Right"

There was a different fighting wight Sonic, ya Flare and I got a special link, but with Sonic it's different maybe it because of aura. Alwell whatever it is it cool.

(Hey, how was your fight with Lucario?)

(Heh, you know it. Ok I got a plan you distract him while I hit him with an aura wave from my fan)

Just as they plan it, Sonic ran out right in front of Shadow.

"So, where the wolf, am should to be fighting both of you."

(Not telling ya, now you fight me)

They ran at each other

But just as I as was about to to fan my fan, someone grabs my my arm.

"What the heck?"

"I wouldn't do that if I was you.", said the mysterious person

"And why would that be?", I glared at this person

"MAMAMHAHA! Oh I don't know I could brush your arm or I can drain your aura. Your choice?"

(Sonic, I need help tell Shadow were I am and hurry)

(No, but if I get him talking maybe I can buy you time)

"That dumb hedgehog never told you about the enemies of the aura users?"

"Then do I have a story to tell you", but before he could a yellow blade flue in pinning the purple robe that the person wore over to a tree.

"And I think you should leave her alone." He looked over to the wolf in question "You ok Crystal?"

"Ya, thanks", as she rubbed her arm.

"Now, for you, I thought I told you I wouldn't join you.", he said with a sneer.

"We not after you anymore we want the girl."

"Ya, just as mush as you got my aura, now get lost before I make you.", he glared

"Fine, but we will get the girl", he laughed as he teleported away.

"Shadow, who was that?", I asked him while looking up with scared eyes.
