A/N: I know the jump-arounds can get a little confusing, but I think they're more fun to see the snapshots into different parts of their lives within one time period.

The River Court, after Davis told Anna:

Davis Baker was completely lost. He loved Anna, at least he really thought he did, and he wanted to be a good dad, but he was 17 and he still had his own dreams and his own plans that he didn't want to be forced to give up. He bounced the ball a few times, it had been almost a week since Anna told him to leave her alone, and he'd respected her wishes - he hadn't bothered her at all, and strangely she hadn't been in class all week either. He tossed the ball up and watched it sail through the net - he was damn good, good enough to go to Princeton, where he wouldn't be "Jude Baker's twin" anymore, where HE would be the star guard, not his brother. He knew he needed to go, and if Anna wasn't going to come with him then that was her decision, he couldn't force her to follow him but he knew he needed to be in his child's life even if he couldn't be in Anna's. Since the break-up, he hadn't really gone home much, he didn't want to explain to his mom the whole situation, or for his brother and Lydia to ask him a bunch of questions, the River Court was his second-home. His phone range and he quickly slid his thumb across the screen to answer it.

"Coach, what can I do for you?" Davis answered the call from his future college coach. The words his coach said next made Davis' heart skip with excitement,

"We want you to come visit," the Princeton leader told his newest commit, "come spend a weekend up here with our guys soon."

"Oh, I'd love to do that. I'll have to talk to my parents but I'll get back to you with dates and stuff." Davis said goodbye to his Coach and hung up the phone- he had to tell Anna, maybe she'd want to come visit with him, but as he put his phone down his stomach flopped, she had told him to leave, he couldn't invite her. He angrily threw the ball against the backboard, fuck Anna and fuck her stupid reaction, how could she not see that this was so important to him?

Davis made his way home still seething, his initial hurt had been replaced by resentment; he was angry with Anna, angry that she didn't see that he needed this, that he could do both if she would just come with him and let him support her and their baby. He pushed his way through the front door, Brooke was sitting on the couch,

"Hi honey! Where have you been all day?" Brooke asked her son, who looked upset and also deep in thought,

"I was at the River Court, sorry for not calling." Davis tossed his shoes down by the front door and hung up his sweatshirt, "Coach Henderson called me again today, he wants me to come visit." Davis told his mom, hoping she would let him go - he needed the break right now.

"That's wonderful! Did you tell him yes? Did you tell Anna?" His mom asked a seemingly normal question and he saw as Davis' eyes clouded over,

"Yeah I just have to tell him when, and yeah I told Anna," Davis paused wondering how to continue, "she wasn't too happy with me, and I really don't know if it'll blow over before the baby gets here if I'm being honest." Davis sat down next to his mom, who put her arm around her young son's shoulders,

"I'm sure she'll come around, she has to understand how many amazing opportunities this could bring for you and for your son or daughter, you could really support them." Brooke had the same thoughts as her son about the whole situation,

"It's just, I don't know if I want to be with her if she doesn't see how good this is for me, don't get me wrong I want to be a part of my child's life but I don't know if her and I should be together, even though I know that would be the easiest," Davis looked at his mom, confused and sad, he just didn't know how he felt anymore.

Duke University, Logan's Apartment - four weeks into school:

Logan was going about his normal day, cleaning dishes and checking the stats for the latest Bobcats' game to see how his best friend was playing, when he heard a knock on the door. It was much earlier than Sawyer normally paid him visits, so he wasn't sure who could be on the other side of the door. He walked over and opened the heavy wood door, and he was surprised - Sawyer stood on the other side, sobbing.

"What's wrong?" Logan asked as Sawyer made her way into the apartment, her lip was quivering and she looked like she had been crying for a good amount of time. Their "situationship" had a strange dynamic, it really had never involved feelings or much talking, because if they talked they might develop actual feelings, and both were terrified of facing their families or the reality of being in a relationship - so they just had sex and parted ways pretty much every night and neither of them had brought up any other feelings until now.

"I'm late Logan, I was supposed to get my period two days ago, I'm on the pill I thought we'd be alright," Sawyer choked out and she sat down, her head in her hands,

"Sawyer we've never had sex without a condom," Logan pointed out, before the realization hit them - they had, the first time they'd ever slept together,

"That first night," Sawyer whispered, "I can't remember, I can't." Sawyer continued to sniffle and Logan took a deep breath, he had no idea what to say or do next, he'd never been in this kind of situation,

"Come here," Logan patted the couch and Sawyer tip-toed over, she curled up on the couch and looked up at Logan, who pulled out a soft blanket to lay over her as she shook, "go ahead and relax, I'm sure everything is alright, I'll go get you some tea okay?" Logan walked over to the kitchen and started brewing a pot of tea before realizing he was out of tea bags, he walked back over to ask her if she wanted something else, but she was asleep, her blue eyes screwed shut and her tears finally subsiding. Logan looked at the girl in-front of him, what were they going to do if she was pregnant? They didn't know each other, and she still had three years of college left. For him, it wasn't that much of an inconvenience, he wouldn't have to give up his degree because he was graduating soon, and he wouldn't have to worry about how people would judge him, he was 23, he was an adult. She was 18, she was not. He watched as she slept, she looked so peaceful, but he needed her to be okay. He stood up and grabbed his keys to head down to CVS, he needed to know for sure.

Logan pulled up to the CVS and hopped out of his car, he was nervous - he had to admit that to himself, but he had to put on a brave face for Sawyer, after all this was mostly his fault. He made his way to the feminine products aisle and scanned the shelves for the pregnancy tests, grabbing three when he finally found them hiding on the bottom shelf. He was self-conscious as he walked back to the store front to check-out, grabbing a box of tea and a bar of chocolate as well. He balanced the soft pink boxes and the snacks in his arms and got in line, when he saw the last person he needed to see walk through the front doors. Ashley, his ex-girlfriend, was making her way to the line. Ashley and him had dated for the first year and a half of college, she had been one of those girls that he couldn't believe he had gotten. She was beautiful, 5'10 with long black hair, her eyes were sparkly and brown and she had the perfect proportions; one of those girls straight off the runway, and she was smart too - like genius smart, so he had always felt like he was lucky to have her. But, one time when he had been out of town visiting his parents, Ashley had come over with intentions that had ended the whole relationship - Ashley had tried to sleep with Jamie, like forcefully so. She had come in, according to Jamie, all decked out in lingerie and had hid in Jamie's bedroom, when Jamie had found her he had kicked her out and called Logan right away. Losing Ashley had really been a low point of Logan's life, but seeing her while he was holding three pregnancy test boxes for a girl he barely knew was a close second.

"Logan Evans!" Ashley squealed, coming towards him and grinning, as if she hadn't shattered his heart three years prior.

Logan fumbled to hide the boxes in his hand but it was no use, "Hey Ashley" he muttered, not in the mood for small talk.

"How have you been?" Ashley asked, smiling at him, he wasn't sure if she'd noticed his purchases but he was relieved to get called up by the cashier,

"Fine, nice seeing you." Logan said over his shoulder as he swiped his credit card and headed out the front door to go rejoin Sawyer at his apartment. Logan turned the key, Sawyer was awake, she was sitting on his couch watching the game highlights that were on ESPN, "Sorry about leaving, I just ran over to CVS to get some things." Sawyer turned around and smiled softly up at him; Logan walked over and put his hands on her shoulders, "Listen, Sawyer, I know we don't really know each other, and you have no reason to trust me but I want to promise you, if you are pregnant, I'm not going anywhere. I'm not going to bail on you and our baby; I want to be there for you and I will support you and you can move in here - I have enough money to float us until I start my job in May, we're going to be okay, everything is going to be okay. I got some tests and some tea and chocolate for you," Logan fished around in his bag and he handed her a test,

"Thank you Logan," Sawyer turned the box over in her hands, and then handed it back to him, "but I don't need it. When I woke up, I went to the bathroom and I got my period. So false alarm." Sawyer was touched by how nice Logan had been about it, but she could see the relief wash over his face as she told him, she started to collect her stuff from the front entrance, Logan looked at her and smiled,

"Why don't you stay for dinner? I got tea and we can order pizza, we can watch the game?" Logan asked, Sawyer looked surprised at the invitation - he had never breached the subject of actually hanging out before.

"That actually sounds awesome," Sawyer set her stuff back down, "but I only like pepperoni pizza."

"Then pepperoni we will have." Logan sat down next to her and she laid her head on his shoulder - this day had ended much better than it had began.

Nathan & Haley's House, same time as last visit:

Haley walked with Julia into Jordan's bedroom, she really liked her newfound family member, and Julia was clearly a natural with kids. The pair leaned over the crib to look at the tiny baby who had cried a bit earlier, Jordan was adorable, and even cuter when he was curled up in his blanket. Haley reached into the crib to hold her son, even though she had done it four times already, Jordan excited her just as much as Jamie had all those years ago. She cradled the baby and started to rock him, and she noticed Julia looked lost in thought,

"Do you remember when Tyler was this little?" Haley asked and Julia snapped back to the present,

"It still feels like yesterday, I am blown away every day by how big he is now compared to when he was a newborn," Julia looked at the infant in her son's grandmother's arms,

"Can I ask you a question?" Haley ventured, and Julia nodded,

"Of course."

"Why didn't you tell Jamie when you were pregnant?" Haley asked, and Julia swallowed, it was a fair question to ask but still a tough one,

"To be honest with you , I found out over the summer and by the time I got back to school Jamie was getting all that press coverage for being such a strong player and he really was at the top of his career and I didn't want to look like a gold digger or to disrupt his life, you know? My parents helped me out so I didn't need the financial support of a man, and I guess I never thought that Jamie would care or want to know that he had a son, I didn't really know him and I thought it'd be an inconvenience to him to have this illegitimate son, so I just didn't tell him. And honestly, I wouldn't have ever brought it up if Jamie hadn't come up to me last semester and started talking to me or if Ty wouldn't have gotten sick that first night," Julia said as she took a deep breath and hoped she hadn't offended Haley,

"That makes sense, I just can't imagine doing it alone, I always had Nathan there to lean on when I was pregnant with Jamie when I was your age, and he was my strength. I think it's amazing that you got through it and fought by yourself, but I do know Jamie feels like he missed out on a lot of raising Tyler, so I'm glad you guys reconnected because it would have torn him up inside to not have known," Haley handed Jordan to Julia, who held him softly and pushed a curl out of his face,

"I'm glad we're together too. He's amazing with Ty, and now I see where he learned it from," Julia could tell that Haley and Nathan had raised Jamie to be a loving and supportive man, and she was so thankful that she had him in her life to pass that on to their son as well.

An hour later, after everyone had gone to sleep, Julia and Jamie made their way up to his bedroom. Tyler was out cold in his bed, so the two were alone but being quiet as to not wake him up. Julia sat on the edge of the bed, crunching the comforter up in her hands and watching as Jamie undressed and changed into a beat up t shirt and his boxers, he was beautiful, she never actually took moments to look at him and take him in, he was strong and cut and his sparkling blue eyes looked right into her soul. She glanced back down at the floor and bit her lip, conflicted about what she was about to say,

"I'm sorry," Julia said softly and Jamie turned around and looked at her,

"For what?" Jamie asked, super confused about the admission from his girlfriend,

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Tyler right away. I should have. I was just scared, and I didn't know how you'd react and I didn't want to ruin your life with a baby," Julia cleared her throat and looked up at him with sad eyes,

"You didn't ruin my life, you made it so much better. Tyler is everything, I am so glad that I found out before he could realize his dad wasn't around," Jamie told her, coming over and taking her hand, then he noticed she was crying, "what's wrong Jules?" he asked.

"Jamie, I'm pregnant."
