Hey guys, I am back again… I was thinking of the scenes I could put into the story so it took a bit of time, and today I am in a really miserable mood because I had test results today and despite my passing the test, my two best friends couldn't make it and I am super duper upset for them….

So I am a little down and my own success cannot make me happy…

Chapter 5: Putting heads together

In the executive's hall, the hunters were sitting with an anxious look on their faces. Knov sat down resting his face on the heel of the hands with his eyes closed; Morel exhaled the polluted gray smoke after sucking the end of his best-quality cigar; Netero was smoothing his goatee; Menchi shaped with a vivid neon-pink nail file, Satoz stood near the door, with an aloof look on his face. 'Ne, Knov-san,' Menchi blew the end of her nails to get rid of the excess dust 'why are we here….. I left the boys with the assignment, and they aren't very well, the paperwork.' Knov opened his eyes slightly and with half-lidded eyes he said 'our new detective called us, an urgent meeting…..' Morel after exhaling a cloud of smoke he said 'she is quite intelligent….. She found a trail within three days!' 'Taskani…. She is not a two-star Black-list hunter for none' Netero said 'I always knew that the kid had something unusual….. Quite a brain she got-'

'Sorry to keep you waiting…..' Rene stormed in abruptly and caught them off guard 'I came here to tell you something important…. President Netero, if you please…' Rene gestured Netero to step aside from the white space in front, while she took his place 'first off all, the reason the hunters failed to trail the abductor is their lack of respect and knowledge to the technology… this is the exact thing which the abductor took the chance and exulted his pride through the tape….. ' Rene stated in a business-like manner and while she spoke she leaned forward supporting on her hands 'First…. Our prime and foremost mistake was to take it the voice of an abductor as a human voice, but sadly it isn't….' she leaned more at the front and with her trench coat missing, the well endowed cleavage peeped through her round-neck fitted shirt, under her pink pearl-necklace.

'Then whose voice it is?' Knov's eyebrows connected with a questioning look.

Rene smirked and straightened up as she caught Morel's eyes roaming around her pectoral muscles. 'The question is Knov-san' she said 'which's voice it is?'

The hunters gasped audibly. Menchi stood up in excitement and Satoz looked at Rene with concern 'what do you mean…. Was that not a human voice?' Menchi asked and Rene shook her head 'Sore dewa chigau!' Morel cleared his throat 'then perhaps it must be-' Rene cut in the middle and raised her hand to shut him 'an animal voice? No that's not…. As far as I have researched, no animal cannot copy a human voice so flawlessly that goes undetectable….. The wavelengths of both animal and human voice are different, even when the prior one is mimicking the latter….. A trace is still left, like a rasping effect or a shrill undertone…. Our range of suspicion is already confirmed that the abductor is a trained hunter; and an animal will still need a copy or sample of the voice to mimic…. If it's not a hunter then it can't be a normal human either….. But you may say that abductor has forced someone to do it, that won't be unsubstantial…. But it's not a voice of a living creature'

Morel choked on his own spit and coughed up a lot of polluted smoke 'do you mean?'

'Yes… It's a mechanical voice… or more specifically spoken it's an android voice…..'

Knov smirked darkly and Rene put a sharp glance at him 'is something wrong Mr. Knov?' Knov stood up and readjusted his glasses 'Well that seems too farfetched for me, don't you think? How do you know it's an android voice… even the trained hunters fail for it-'

Rene's eyes flashed in anger and she straightened up…. 'Let me demonstrate this to you… since you doubt my abilities…..'

With a swift wave of hand her pearls scattered over the table and moved towards Knov in a zigzagged manner 'first Knov-san, I would ask you to play a song in your smart-phone…. Any song would do, but that has to be sung by a person.'

Knov nervously took out his phone and tapped on his playlist's 'I CAN TRANSFORM YA' by Chris Brown ft Lil Wayne and Swiss Beatz….. the rap music played in a strong Japanese like beat.

The song went on and Rene's body lightened up with her smooth yet poignant Ren and the pearl rotated around Knov's smooth and sleek Blueberry Android phone; wrapped up with considerable amount of Nen and one of them turned bright-red and rose up in the air to everyone's surprised.

'I call that a 'Revealer' it can reveal the source of voices and sounds, as you can see the sound was emitted from an mechanical device, the pearl turned red….. Now Knov-san, sing for me that song….' Rene demanded. Knov cleared his throat in embarrassment, as his smooth composed nature and his dignity was at stake 'Miss René I don't sing…. So please-'

'No, you have to….. Cause, you are the one who demanded an explanation….' Rene firmly said, 'Ka-Kaichou…. This is outrageous-'

'She has a point Knov, you have to sing….'Netero said. Knov shook his head in a slight embarrassment 'no choice then….' He cleared his throat and raised his face…

Knov stopped his boring and monotonous rap to see everyone sniggering and Rene pointed over his head, to his surprise a smooth azure pearl hung over his head 'that' Rene said 'proves that it is a human voice, while in the contact with the mechanical one, it turns red…. Now you got how I knew it all along?' Rene said with a content smile, 'by the way Knov-san…. Not bad for a rookie singer.'

Killua and Gon rushed to the executive detective room to inform the Facebook incident, but after several times of knocking, they got no response. 'Kusso….. Now what should we do… ' Gon punched the other palm of his hand, while Killua looked around with restlessness 'Oi… hey you!' Killua asked a random girl who looked so flattered at his approach that she coyly replied 'yes, may I help you Mr. Killua?' 'Do you know where we can find that executive detective?' the girl looked a bit sorry 'oh…. She must be in the executive hall- '

They did not waited for her to finish the sentence and rushed towards the executive's hall but the security stopped them 'Um excuse me… but you can't go inside now, there is a meeting going on-'. Killua glared at him with his furious temper 'I don't give a fuck to that meeting…. We have something important to say to the executive detective…..' Killua said impatiently 'I am sorry sir, but I can't let you go inside…. President's orders….. Please!' the security gave them a helpless look and Killua with a deserted face returned to his office… 'Kusso... One step to the light and we are drawn three steps back from that…..' Killua punched his desk and Gon stood at the corner with a helpless face 'Killua…. Please, you have to stop-'

'Stop…. How can I stop Gon…..? HOW CAN I STOP…? IT'S MY SISTER…..'

'I SAID STOP KILLUA… DO YOU KNOW HOW SELFISH YOU SOUND RIGHT NOW?' Gon said dangerously 'Killua….. Please' Gon hold Killua by his shoulder 'yes, I know how you feel… I felt the same way when I heard that you were forced to quit the hunter exam…. I admit that Alluka is not my relative, but if she is your sister, she is as well as mine….. Yes Killua… you have to trust yourself….. You can't let yourself fall like this.' Gon said 'we can contact the executive detective tomorrow'. Killua sighed in relief and went before Gon 'Ah! I feel terrible; wish I had some of Megumi-san's tea-'

Gon stopped at his feet and looked darkly at Killua 'Megumi-san's tea?' Killua kept walking in front of him and went on 'yeah… she gave me some last night… Black tea with ginger and cardamom…. Really cheered me up-'

Gon smiled briefly by himself and said 'Wow look at you… You talk like a grown up right now Killua' in his words Killua stopped in his feet and looked at his best friend; his liquid sapphire eyes confused 'what do you mean by that Gon?' Gon raised his face a bit smiled which somewhere not quite reached his genuine brown eyes, 'No nothing… I am happy that you are calm now….'

Killua kept walking and Gon took his side 'hey forget about that…. Are we staying in the office or are we going home?' Killua scratched his head and said 'may be the latter, I've had enough today….' Suddenly his stomach growled 'I wish I could visit the Princess' again….. I am hungry'

At his word Gon remained quite.

Killua took out his motorbike from the office garage and gestured Gon to hop in, they flown through the flyway and the girls in the streets ogled at the black ninja-bike and the hottie riders in it, Killua was pretty sure he heard some words like 'hook me up' and something like that which Gon returned with a nervous smile. 'Ne Killua, you're quite popular among the girls, don't you think?' Killua smirked and said 'yeah, but they aren't worth it…. They have nothing….' Gon smiled and his smirk darkened 'and Megumi-san? What about her?' Killua said 'Megumi-san….. I just love her pastries and sweeties that's all….'

Killua speeded up and drifted in the u-turn of the flyover while Gon was slightly whooping along with Killua, but suddenly his face darkened and he pulled Killua's shirt, a tensed aura surrounded his body 'Killua, stop the bike' Killua braked hastily and Gon toppled over him 'Gon, what wrong with you… why all of a sudden-'

'Killua mite….. Look over there'

Killua looked a metallic purple Renault Sedan was gliding smoothly without any apparent threat but Killua's assassin sense awakened instantly and he descended from his bike and jumped from the flyover with Gon 'can you sense it?' Gon said 'yeah…. It is similar to the aura I have sensed in the party…..' Gon frowned 'are you sure…. Killua' Killua's gaze hardened upon the Renault 'yeah… and whoever it is, is following that car…..'

Gon gasped 'Masaka!' Killua nodded 'I cannot be so sure, it could be them or worse…..'

'Who Killua… who are you talking about?' Gon asked

'The abductor…..'

yea… yokatta ne, that was done….. And I am still sad…. Cause my friends will have to repeat one year…. While I am likely to be promoted….. and it's sad and lonely….
