Chapter 10

*Bang* A gun shot rang out through the ware house, but that didn't stop the red head from charging forward, his fist brought back slamming into the blonde man in front of him, Rage was shown in his eye's but suddenly softened when seeing his girlfriend laid on the floor, she had rolled onto her side, but he could tell she was still alive, as she began violently coughing for air.

Sho stood back up and tackled the boy to the ground, "Your too late for a rescue mission because if I haven't killed her yet, she will slowly die from blood loss!" that enraged the boy even more, as he punched the man off him, "And if she die's ill fucking murder you Sho! In fact! That's what you deserve!" Sho punched the boy making him hit the ground and sent his foot into the boy's stomach, "Your too weak, Davis Motomiya, your too weak to save your little slut, too bad she's not a virgin anymore, she was a tight one and so enjoyable." Sho licked his lips, but flew backwards into the wall.

Davis had found inner strength to kick the man again and stood up, "You sick Bastard! Kari was the most loving, kind and innocent girl I've ever met, she would never hurt a soul, and she never cursered until you destroyed her life! She would never even think about taking her own life until I walked in on her!" he picked sho up by the collar slamming his fist into his face.

"She's still the same girl I'll always love, but her eye's will never shine the same..EVER AGAIN!" As Davis pulled his fist back Sho had pulled out a knife, "Well you will be joining your guardian angel in hell then because that's where she is going!"

Just as the blade got close to Davis stomach, *BANG!* Sho's eye's widened, as he looked down, just below his rib cage, blood seeped through his shirt, they both looked over to see Kari sat against the wall holding the silver gun in her hands, "Put my boyfriend down you arsehole!"

Her hands was trembling slightly, but that didn't show that she was scared, but the colour in her face showed on how much she was close to passing out, "I said PUT HIM DOWN!" a second time she pulled the trigger landing a bullet in Sho's lower leg, instantly, he dropped to the ground holding his leg, Davis widened at the aggressiveness of Kari, but as Davis made his move to get closer to Kari, Sho pulled out a smaller hand gun, but before he could fire, the doors slammed open and cops stormed the place.

10 minutes Later ….

Kari was loaded up onto a stretcher, which everyone was surprised she was still awake after everything, Davis held her hand, "Your going to be ok now" giving a slight smile, but sighing, "not yet, I still might have to testify against him in court…. " As they rolled her towards the ambulance, the trolly hit a rock, "Ouch mother fucker!" she suddenly screamed, as Davis couldn't help but laugh, "You know… I like this side of you a lot better than the innocent Kari, I got myself a bad arse girlfriend." She couldn't help but laugh herself. "Well you better buy me a leather jacket then soccer boy." Was the last words he heard as they loaded her into the ambulance, he could now see the strain on her face to stay awake, " just try and stay awake a little longer ok? Just until you get a blood transfusion." She nodded as he got into the ambulance with her, holding her hand.

1 hour later,

Davis was sat outside the hospital holding a cup of coffee, he had informed everyone that Kari was safe and at the hospital being treated for her wounds. Tai and Sora was currently arguing with the receptionist about seeing his sister, Matt and T.K was apologising for their friends behaviour, but Davis was sat outside in the fresh air, they had treated the smaller wounds he had on his body which was a bullet graze on his cheek, and bruising around various area's, Although he wasn't concerned about himself, he was more worried about Kari's condition, halfway through the drive to the hospital she had lost consciousness. Due to blood loss.

He began to panic when he saw her eye lids close and the heart monitor act up, to the point where they had to sedate him in the ambulance, when he came too, Tai, Matt, T.K and Sora was waiting for him around the bed, he had been discharge 15 minutes after that.

"Penny for your thoughts?" looking up he saw his sister Jun, giving a small but noticeable smile he sighed, "thanks, just worried ya know… she's been in there for over an hour now and no news…" Jun chuckled slightly and handed him some coffee, "I know, I'm surprised the hospital hasn't kicked Tai out yet, but her parents have been informed about the situation and they are driving back from Okinawa right now. According to Matt, he had to speak to them since Tai was shouting down the phone."

Davis chuckled slightly "Yeah, but I don't blame him, when I got to that warehouse and I saw that man on top of her… I'm surprised I didn't kill him. It's amazing sometimes on how Izzy can trace the smallest things like a call for pizza to track a serial rapist. Then have the police only 2 minutes behind me, but that two minutes was all it took for so much stuff to happen. She blacked out… and next thing I knew she was pointing a gun at him."

Jun placed an arm around her little brother, "Yes but she saved your life, from what the cops told me, he was about to kill you." Davis nodded, "Yeah I didn't see the knife, I hope she's ok, please be ok…"

That's when he heard what he wanted to hear, "Miss. Kamiya?" all 6 of them rushed to the doctor standing there with a clipboard, "I'm happy to say that the surgery was a success, she is going to be ok, the extent of her injuries are going to take time to heal though. She is a very lucky girl to have gotten here in time."

"What injuries does she have doc?" Tai spoke, " damage to the throat, broken jaw, broken nose, 4 broken ribs, gun shot wound to the leg, thankfully it didn't hit any nerves or the bone, severe bruising that will go down in time, sexually assaulted which is what you had told me when she first arrived, did any of you know about the self harm?"

They all nodded as Davis stepped up, "I walked in on her trying to … ya know her wrist." The doctor nodded, "I think it would be best to place Miss. Kamiya under a therapist for a while, after all she has had such a tramatic experience, that may stay with her for a while…" "What! But!" Tai was cut off by Matt speaking up, "what your trying to say is that because of her self harming and attempting suicide, your labelling Kari as crazy to throw her into a mental hospital?"

The doctor shook his head, "the scarring on her arms indicate she hasn't self harmed in a while which means someone has been helping her, but… a therapist might be best to see at the moment, I will not refer her to the suicidal clinic so long as she help and support on the outside, as well as our medical help" they all nodded understanding.

"We can make sure she stay's in line, especially this one here, is she ok for visitors?" Asked Jun, the doctor smile, knowing that Kari's road to recovery started with her friends and family, "Of course, she maybe asleep now but she will need all she can get." He turned around and began leading them to Kari's Private room. As they walked past the window, they saw her sat up in bed, looking out of the window.

Taking a deep breath the doctor opened the door and Kari looked towards everyone walking in, "Hey…."
